An Unconventional Anime RP Idea

So my concept is a Yugioh AU roleplay, based around the original series. Now, I know what you're probably thinking: How the hell is this even going to work? My Answer is this: Duels will initially be between a PC and an NPC, with the player winning. Once the players have made it to the finals, duels will be handled via either a collaboration post, or a series of posts between two players, with an agreed winner, and the duel presented cinematically/Literary-styled in the post(s). Character sheets would contain a simple deck list using card names and the amount in the deck, and themed characters and decks are encouraged. The story would follow a similar theme to the show, starting with a massive tournament similar to the Duelist Kingdom event of the show. Feel free to ask questions, comment, or laugh at me for how stupid this probably sounds.
