When Ally saw the whole setup she frowned. She knew Niijima was up to no good! How could bullies just rip apart the Newspaper room without teachers finding out? Of course no one would rat out an entertaining fight like this. When Kiro refused to fight Ally smiled and said, "Good." The masters didn't teach him so he could entertain people who has nothing better to do. They taught him to keep him safe.
Ally didn't believe Niijima's made up story, but she wasn't going to convince Kiro. Niijima was such a good actor that there was part of her that believed him, but living at the dojo taught her not to believe people like this. Besides even if she told Kiro she didn't believe Niijima's story he would be too stubborn to believe her since innocent people could be in danger.

"Alright, two things, one, I'm not his girlfriend and two, I'm still keeping your jacket," she said, straightening the jacket and then she followed them. If anything goes wrong I have Kiro's back, She thought, thinking of Niijima's slip of the tongue.
"Of course!" Ally replied, no doubt in her mind about Kiro's abilities. "You've been pushing and pushing yourself and that isn't easy. If anything you have the potential to be greater than all of us. Most of us started training when we were younger than you so it wasn't as bad when we got older. You on the other hand started at sixteen!" Then she thought for a minute, "You're sixteen right? Yeah." She thought about talent for a moment before pulling her lunch out of her bag. She placed a couple fruits into her lap. She didn't feel as hungry right now and knew fruits would give her nice energy. "I don't think what people say is true," Ally said, "about people being born with gifts. Yeah, some people are born with better hearing or seeing, but no one just picks up a violin and can play it like that!" She held a green apple in her hand and tossed it in the air, catching it in her palm before taking a bite. She thought carefully about what she would say next. "When I started training with Shin and Bakusa in reaction timing, like avoiding kicks and punches, I was terrible. I kept getting hit and hit. It took me a long time before I finally got good at evading. Before then, I remember this time Shin roundhoused me in the side of the head. He didn't mean to hurt me, it was an accident, but still, I wasn't good enough." She placed the apple back in her lap and pulled back her hair to reveal her ear. The earlobe was permanently damaged, misshapen and slightly swollen. "I don't really pull my hair back too much because of this. I wasn't good enough so I got hurt. What I'm trying to say is, Kiro, that it takes work to get good at anything, no matter who you are. We all have our flaws and weaknesses but once you improve on them, you'll be as good as gold," she turned to reveal her other ear which was perfectly fine, "See?"
(Just a filler post, you don't even need to really read. XD)

Asuka shook her head at Bakusa's constantly changing emotions. When Kiro tried to hide behind Asuka she gently moved aside so he could face the blind master. He's a wimp against a little bit of yelling... How far will he truly get? she thought. Once Bakusa began to explain Muay Thai Asuka took it as her cue to leave. Kiro needed as little distractions as possible and Rekin and Shin weren't helping.

Asuka went into one of the buildings to see Ally finishing her work with the ropes. The girl was doing something very similar to Kiro's training earlier although everything was one-handed. Asuka knew it would pose challenges, but she didn't think it was anything her disciple couldn't handle. When Ally performed twenty one-handed pull ups, Asuka nodded and brought her to the mat. There were training dummies for Jiu Jitsu that would stand on their own so they were perfect for teaching techniques.

"Today we're going to learn one of the most dangerous techniques in Jiu Jitsu and Judo for that matter. This technique can easily lead into broken and torn legs, but it also leads into great follow-ups if executed properly. It's banned in many competitions for both martial arts, but if anything happens on the streets, I want you to be prepared," Asuka explained, momentarily breaking her serious master role for more of a motherly role. She quickly recovered from this slip and said, "This technique is called Kani Basami or in the English they tend to call it 'flying scissors'."

Asuka grabbed one of the training dummies and set it standing straight up. "Since this technique is so dangerous we're going to work with the dummy until you get the hang of it. I'm going to show you this move a little more than the others even though it's really simple. You need to understand it before performing it."

Asuka stood beside the dummy in a Jiu Jitsu stance, basically a mix between a boxing and wrestler's stance, and put her arm on the outside shoulder. "All you need to do is get your outside leg across the hip," she placed her right leg across the front of the dummy's hips and put it back to the floor, "and your inside leg across the back of the knees" she demonstrated this too, "and get your hand on the ground," she bent sideways, her legs still standing. "You do all of these three at once," Asuka said. She jumped, placing both legs where they needed to go and broke her fall with her hand. The back of the dummy's head and neck slammed hard on the ground. "That's how you do it. If you have any questions you need to let me know. This move is really dangerous and you need to understand it inside and out." When Ally didn't have any questions Asuka repeated the move three more times. It wasn't a move you could perform very slowly due to gravity and only got faster as you got better.

"Alright, I want you to try," Asuka said and reset the dummy.

Ally got into her stance beside the dummy. She knew takedowns that involved jumping and a lot of body movement, but this one seemed a little more complicated than put on. There were a lot of places to mess up in the three simple steps. Ally took a breath, jumped up and latched her legs around the dummy but in reverse. Instead of her outside leg on the front of the hips it was on the back and her inside leg was on the front. She ended up flipping the dummy onto its face.

Asuka shook her head, "No no, you mixed it up. Inside leg on the back of the knees, outside leg on the front of the hips."

Ally nodded and tried again. She got the sides right and wasn't mixed up, but her inside leg didn't quite catch the back of the knees right.

"Again," Asuka commanded.

Ally tried again. The positioning was right, but her placement on the hips was low.

"Do it again. You could've popped someone's knee out like that!" Asuka scolded.

Ally tried again... and again... and again until she was finally getting solid repeats of the proper technique. It was hard work, and with the pressure of it being such a dangerous move it seemed that much harder.

"Okay, I think you're doing well," Asuka said, "Now I want you to practice on a real body."

"What?" Ally said, wiping away the sweat on her forehead.

"You're going to practice the technique on me," Asuka clarified.

"Didn't you say it was really dangerous? That we wouldn't practice on each other?" Ally asked nervously.

"No, I said we would practice on the dummies until you got the hang of it."

"But Aunty Asu-"

"I'm not Aunty here!" Asuka snapped, "Are you doubting my teachings?" She hated having to speak like this, especially to her niece, but it was the only way to keep training so serious. In all honesty speaking like this often times made her feel a bit sick, but she masterfully kept this hidden away as to keep her serious master persona.

"No Sensei Asuka, I'm sorry, I don't doubt you're teachings," Ally said, giving a respectful bow of apology. She hated when her aunt did this, though knew calling her aunt "aunty" or "aunt" in the dojo during training was highly unprofessional and inappropriate, even if it was just them two.

"Don't doubt me, don't doubt your teachings, and don't doubt yourself. Go slow, you don't need to rush at me."

Ally nodded and took several deep breaths in and out. She knew Asuka was tough, tougher than she could ever know, but the thought of performing such a move on her guardian was scary. When Asuka moved into the ready position, Ally got into her stance and performed the move. She discovered it wasn't too much different from practicing on the dummy, only Asuka could react and ease her own fall rather than let her head be smashed into the ground like the dummy's.

"That was good, now keep going," Asuka said. They did this a few more times and Asuka stopped the girl again. "What do you think you can go into once you perform the takedown?"

Ally didn't need much time to think about this as it was pretty obvious for anyone doing Jiu Jitsu, even beginners. "Go into a leg lock or ankle lock."

"Right, but for now just squeeze my ankles for that basic lock, got it?"

So they repeated the move again, and Ally quickly got Asuka into a lock, squeezing her ankles together in a triangle hold. Asuka tapped and Ally released her grip.

"Alright, let's get that in a couple more times."

Ally performed the technique faster than before and successfully performed it again. But on the third attempt, Ally slightly messed up. Her outside leg's placement was a lower than it should've been, closer to the knees than hips. Luckily Asuka knew how to counter her knees from getting popped and she irritably shook her head. "You know not to go fast if you don't need to, you aren't a rookie!" Asuka scolded.

"I know Sensei, I'm sorry," Ally apologized and helped Asuka up.

Asuka adjusted her Gi, "This isn't a game, you know this."

"I know, I'm sorry, Sensei."

Asuka took in a deep breath and scratched the back of her neck. "Alright, we're going to do conditioning for the rest of the day. We'll try again on this technique tomorrow, okay?"

Ally nodded in understanding, though she was thoroughly disappointed in herself for overestimating herself. She couldn't do the move so quick or she could really hurt Asuka. What if Asuka hadn't dodged in time? There was a reason it was banned.

"Double up on the ropes and when you're done we're going to do a bit of live grappling, okay?" As Ally walked away to start the conditioning, Asuka stopped her. "I know it's hard with Kiro around, you're used to being the only disciple. You don't have anything to prove, especially not to me. I'm sorry for not paying as much attention to your training for the past days. I've been letting you do your own training because I trust you. Don't let anything like that get to you, alright? It's negative energy and you aren't a negative person. Understand?" Asuka planted a kiss on her niece's cheek, temporarily breaking their code.

"Alright, I understand," Ally said, feeling slightly relieved Asuka had a sense of how she felt. With that, it was off to the ropes.

Asuka crossed her arms and simply shook her head. "I don't trust that kid," she said to no one in particular. "But if this Iron Hand Shaz or whatever is really after you you're going to need more than a good grip to beat him." Asuka scratched the back of her head and thought. Jiu Jitsu easily had a lot of counters to Judo, Asuka went against Judo masters before, but Kiro couldn't learn those techniques in such a small amount of time. "Well Kiro," Asuka said and patted the boy on the back, "I think it's time I passed you on to a master who has more range tactics. I hate to do this, but until you fight Shaz, your training with me is going to have a lot less time."
"Shin!" Asuka shouted and sprinted. She leaped and got behind Shin, lacing one arm under one armpit and placing it behind his head, the other around his neck. She wrapped her legs around his waist and began to choke him, not a deadly amount of force of course, and twisted so she would absorb the impact against the gate instead of Shin. They hit creating a loud echoing along the ground and Asuka released Shin. "That's just a kid! He doesn't want your tea!" Her back hurt a little from the hard impact but she would be just fine.

"Kiro, you know this boy?"
Ally looked around at Kiro's mention of hearing something. She turned to the brush and heard nothing, not even a peep. "Hmm, must be hearing things, Kiro," she answered. No one really took this path, so he could've just heard a scavaging bird.
~~~~~
Ally shook her head at Kiro's introduction. It was silly and she hoped none of the masters found his entrance disrespectful or she might be in on the punishment. "Well, it was nice knowing you," Ally said, placing a sympathetic hand on Kiro's shoulder. Her goal was to scare Kiro a little bit since she didn't get much fun in the dojo. She then made her way into one of the buildings and got ready to train.
"Hmm, looks like Kiro isn't ours today," Asuka chuckled to Shin as she watched her two disciples walk in. Even though Kiro wasn't officially her disciple anymore because everyone was training him, she would still call him that. "How about some of that tea you promised so we can mourn our loss?" she chuckled. She didn't need to worry about Ally as the girl would have to do warmups before any technique training or conditioning.
@Weird Tales I edited my post to make the fight more fair. :3 Sorry about that.
Asuka shook her head at Kiro's technique. He couldn't even flip her over and she was at least thirty pounds lighter than him! Then Shin interrupted. "You couldn't handle these moves," Asuka laughed, blushing slightly. When he mentioned that it was his turn to train Kiro, she was about to object, but realized that Kiro used most of his time on the ropes. Next time I'll make it quicker so we'll have more time with this, Asuka thought. "Okay okay, fine you can have him. But Jiu Jitsu is a real martial art!" she yelled, shaking her fist.
Ally stood up, surprised that Kiro couldn't even flip her over. She too had to admit that it was somewhat awkward since the only people she ever did this with were female. Even so, she knew when it got to locks and chokes it wouldn't be so awkward. She stood up and straightened her gi, happy this whole awkward experience was over for now.
