Akita continued to scratch Golen as she looked in the area he pointed. The creature bolted and once more Akita found her heart slipping a beat. "I'm not sure what that was," she said, slinging her gun back to her hands from over her shoulder, "but we need to be careful. What do you think, Blake?" It could've been a cat, especially since the aliens tended to be bigger, but she didn't want to take any chances.
