@Akayaofthemoon That sounds good, a separate human group that can do whatever. It should be a good way for people who aren't playing gems to not be bored whenever the gems can't be around.

Maybe Alexander and Pathfinder's character should know each other, might give you something to do while we sort out this robot business.

Spinel watched her orders be mostly ignored, but she didn't really care about that at all right now because she and everyone else were being besieged by some type of horrifying spider robots. I need my pile. She did indeed need her pile. She turned invisible once more and made a beeline for the familiar pile of rubble she had hidden in a few moments ago. She only had 15 seconds of invisibility in her at best, but that was at least enough to get her to it unseen. She curled up behind the pile and hoped not to be noticed.

That just got me thinking, Spinel probably isn't at her best right now at all since she just got done trying to scare everyone away from a place she wanted for herself. Maybe I shouldn't have had her be able to stay invisible for that... but I'll defend myself by saying that her emotion was less greed and more in irritation at all the noise. I'll have her have be unable to summon her weapon in my next post, but hopefully I can still have her use her invisibility. Wanting to stay alive isn't terribly materialistic, I don't think.

Oh darn, can we say my last post happened just before Bloodstone showed up?

"UGH." Spinel was getting nowhere fast. As soon as the most recent being appeared and began speaking of 'gems,' Spinel took a few steps away from the group that had clustered together so as not to be identified as one of them. She was beginning to get tired, and her invisibility trick hadn't accomplished anything besides confusing the large orange one even further and apparently making one of them jump.

Spinel thought about what to say for a moment, and revealed herself. "I neither know of or care for your gems, but if these awful creatures are indeed gems and are yours, please remove them immediately and leave! I'm... I am the spirit of this great canyon!" Spinel did her best, but still pathetic attempt at sounding ominous. "You, you, you, you..." Spinel uttered however many more 'yous' were necessary to name everyone in the main group besides Zircon and Howlite "and especially you" she gestured towards Sodalite "must leave... IMMEEEDAITELY! Or... um... I'll have the canyon swallow you whole!!!" Spinel did this bizarre little hand waving motion to really drive the point home.

"You and you" she pointed to Zircon and Howlite "may stay, but only if you promise to remain near similarly colored rubble, make no noise, and try to stay out of my immediate vision. THUS COMMANDS THE SPIRIT OF THE CANYON OOOOOoooooooooooooooooooOOOooOO!" Spinel immediately wished that she hadn't added the 'oooo' but it wasn't like she could change that now.
