"Yes, a most impressive job." Spinel said. "It looks like the spider monsters didn't notice you at all. Now, please come with me so that you will be out of this dangerous place." Spinel mentally flattered herself with the thought that she really was so good at stealth that simply following her advice should keep people safe. She may have been just a little conceited. She began to lead Howlite to the other gems, and assuming Howlite was following, got her there in a couple of minutes.
I lied! One 5 minute post and then BED gosh darn it.
I want to respond to you so bad. NOPE sorry it will have to wait until I've gotten at least a little bit of sleep goodnight.
I desperately want to fall asleep early enough to not completely suck at life tomorrow but couldn't, so I'm skimming through our already huge archive and reading some of the amusing stuff people wrote until I do.
@Akayaofthemoon Cool to know, and goodnight.

@Pathfinder -ERROR disregard I never said anything here- But yeah good night to you as well.
@Pathfinder Lol, I love it too because it gives me an excuse to not leave the house or move around, or if I do I feel like some epic adventurer braving the elements. Sadly my friends were never big on, uh, sharing body heat since they were all super insecure, but I imagine that would be pretty cool.

@Akayaofthemoon Yeah I agree with him about whoever drew your gem. Would it be too forward of me to ask if they do commissions?
@Pathfinder Hmm part of me still kind of wants to move there someday because I'd rather deal with extreme cold on a regular basis than ever again deal with oppressive heat. I guess cold just seems more avoidable than heat if you don't care for it at the moment, just find something to wrap yourself in.

@Akayaofthemoon 0_0 OK that actually sounds horrific. My family hasn't used the AC once this summer but it's at least comforting to know we've got it.
@Akayaofthemoon I can kind of relate, it gets nearly as bad here and we almost never have the air on. It doesn't help that my family has been invested in some really bizarre home improvement project that requires a ton of furniture-involved heavy lifting which pretty much solely falls to me.

@Pathfinder ...Okay, maybe I'm not that jealous of you.
@Pathfinder You think 80 degrees is bad? It's not unheard of for it to get over 100 here and it's so humid I'm surprised Ohioans haven't been classified as aquatic creatures. And... and this has nothing to do with anything, but recently crawdads have been crawling out of our local ponds and other places where crawdads shouldn't be.
@Pathfinder Ugh I'm jealous of you, Alaska would be so much nicer than this muggy hell-hole right now.

@LizLegend Huh, I'm technically in the Midwest too but it must not be the same part because I'm an hour ahead of you.
