@Akayaofthemoon Yeah, hopefully. Things are moving slowly enough that you could probably be gone for a night and only miss one or two IC posts.

@Akayaofthemoon Hmm, she could possibly also want to comfort Bloodstone. She could also be getting ready to be like "Who the hell are YOU?" or something since a gem she's never met before just sort of barged in.
@Akayaofthemoon Yeah, that's what I meant with the like a parent comforting a child with a dead pet metaphor. Chromite is a pretty detached character in general, professionalism is huge to her.
@Akayaofthemoon Yeah, Chromite isn't one to get emotional or feelsy about things even when in a shocking situation, she just does her job as well as she can.
Holy crap I was just kidding when I said I envisioned Chromite as becoming the anti-sqaud's mom, but it's really starting to look like that's what's happening.
Chromite's helmet and visor vanished, her head tilted slightly down and her stony eyes pointed upward to meet Bloodstone's. "I don't know that you ever were, sir." Chromite spoke in a tone of voice one might expect from a parent telling their child that their dead pet was in a better place now. "I may have had my doubts, but you should know I only had the utmost confidence in you as a leader. You only wanted what was best for us, and even if it wasn't always apparent then, it certainly is now. Anyone could see that. You are absolved of anything you may have put me through.
