Backstory: Grace’s parents died, leaving her to take care of her younger sister, Maya Ayer. When she received the invitation to join the Puppeteer on a quest for world domination, she pounced on the opportunity, dragging the family name through the fires of hell and not bothering to look back. She ruined Maya but didn’t care, working with the Puppeteer to try to reach world domination. When she found out that Maya had been taken under the wing of the famous Randol Farwell, she made it her goal to kill Farwell. She took on her own apprentice and soon was able to nearly kill Farwell, but little did she know that Farwell wasn’t yet dead.

Nightfall ~ As night falls, the beholder of the Nightfall power can step into the dreams of another living humanoid. The beholder can turn any dream into the dreamer’s worst nightmare, though she rarely uses this power unless she wants to really get at somebody who seems close to her- in a bad way.
Heaven ~ Being a Heavenly species, she can kill a demon using a bit of light from Heaven, but she chooses not to most of the time purely for the fight- unless she’s losing. Of course, she has to be careful not to hurt Hudson, as he is technically from Hell.
Personality -
Emikay pretends to care, but she’s just putting on a show for those around her. Her dark intentions are hidden behind a mask of empathy. Just because she’s an Empathic doesn’t mean she’s on their side… she was exiled for practicing Nightfall, but that hasn’t stopped her yet, and she has only become crueler than before due to this. Of course, there are some exceptions to her cruelty. Get close to her and she’s kind, though she will shut people out on occasion if she’s dealing with too much sh!t to get it together.
Positive Traits -
If she manages to develop a connection with somebody who is kind to her, she displays relative affection. This can be seen when she is performing on stage with her band.
Negative Traits -
Emikay mostly has lost the ability to feel, which is why she is only able to put on a show. She knows she should feel bad when somebody dies, for example, so she acts just like the others in the area. This makes her seem cruel when she doesn’t react appropriately or she just doesn’t respond at all. Emikay is also rather vengeful against the other Empathics. But, due to the inability to feel, she does not enjoy making them suffer or even killing them. She will never be satisfied. There are a few exceptions to this rule.
Looks - 
Emikay has dark skin and sleek black hair. Her dark blue eyes almost always glitter with their mischievous gleam unless it’s truly a serious situation, giving her the deception of a child. She is around 5’1, short for her age of Empathic. When she’s idle(not killing people or touring) she wears a black T-shirt, navy jeans, and black sneakers with rainbow bottoms and decorations, for a bit of flair, and often has her hair down. When she’s killing people, she wears pure black everything, with her hair up in a tight bun. As for when she’s touring, she wears her signature black-and-rainbow shoes, a black short-sleeve dress with rainbow stitching, and striped rainbow tights, like the other four girls in the band. In her Heavenly form, she keeps her outfit, though with a few visible weapons, and a pair of feathered black wings that cannot be mistaken. No matter what, she wears a black glove on her left hand, and only her left hand.

Emikay leans towards daggers and swords. She will also utilize portals and her magic when needed. But she despises guns, believing that “guns are the weapon of a cowardly man; I am not a coward, nor a man.”
Religious Standings -
Emikay is an Atheist, but she is not obvious about it. She sometimes attends church, yes, but that means nothing to her. As a Heavenly, she is required to at least pretend to worship the gods that all Heavenly are taught about.
Employment In Human World -
Emikay is a member of an all-girl band called The Arcadians, after her home world. She’s their lead singer/songwriter/guitarist but has been AWOL for years.

Emikay has cut herself off from her family since her family was the very Empathics who betrayed her for being a Dark Empathic. She did have a necklace connected to her parents’ spirits but she gave that up after killing Errokay.

She has all but forgotten him, and tells herself that one day she will reunite with him, though she knows that will never actually happen due to the Empathic Creed. Some accounts say she killed him- and she did that, understanding that she will never reunite with him after he betrayed her once.

Emikay enjoys singing with her band on the weekends, rehearsing on weekdays, and writing songs. She also enjoys swordplay and sometimes spends her time training in fencing, which is as close as she can get to the human world. She avoids returning to Arcadia due to the fact that she killed Pa Tria Erro Kay- her brother.

Short Backstory -
Emikay was born on the fifth day of the seventh month during the two-hundred-seventy-five-thousandth year. Her childhood wasn’t the best, as girls were not supposed to be educated until they were twenty-hundred years old- Emikay wasn’t even supposed to make it past ten hundred. She did survive, due to specialized medicine that was developed by a higher heavenly world. Unfortunately, these medicines turned her Dark, and she was cast out as a Fallen Angel. She took up residence in the human realm, creating a band and claiming to age as they did, though only the four girls closest to her knew the truth. Soon, after three years of touring, she met (Lore was for another site. Will fill in later), and went AWOL from the band for not long- only a year and a half to the two non-humans. But it had been three years in the human world, and she had been deemed missing- perhaps dead.
Emikay Side Lore
These marks, in an rp, are a series of 101 small scars on the palm of Emikay’s left hand. Each one represents 60 minutes. They coincide with her time in the dungeons of the Empathic Realm, Arcadia. She only spent 252.5 Arcadian days in these cells. Her time was spent mostly alone in the cell block named Cell Block T4ng0. These are not the only remnants of her time there.
IM-EK-377. This was permanently tattooed to her finger as a reminder of who she was in prison, of course, this tattoo, along with her Cell Block tattoo, is easily hidden. The first two letters, IM, stand for In Mate. The second two, EK, stand for Emi Kay- her real name. The three numbers, 377, are an inaccurate but relative representation of her initials.
CB-T4ng0. Her cell block number. She will never forget the fear of this hellhole, and she never speaks about it with anybody. If anyone does catch sight of it, she avoids the questions. She will never forget the years of torture…

Link Stones are used as a magical links by Empathics, Dark Empathics, and other species. An Empathic(or Dark Empathic, same species kinda) can only summon up to four in their lifetime. More than four often lead to death. Just summoning one is exhausting, but the Empathic must summon two at a time. Many have died, so surviving the summoning is rare. The stones of a Light Empathic, or just Empathic, are light blue to cyan. Whereas, the stones of a Dark Empathic are dark blue to black. These stones only work if the users share a strong desire or worry or general feeling toward the other. Sometimes, Link Stones can share feelings if the user is unable to voice words, but often only with feelings related to physical or emotional pain such as agony or grief.

Short Backstory -
As a child, he was sheltered by his sister from his parents’ abusive nature, but often was forced to watch Emerie be punished for things he had done. He never ran, as he knew what would happen if he did. Even though the two were only a year apart in age, his sister behaved like an adult around him- if only to protect him, as he found out later. When he was 4, his parents sold Emerie and turned their abuse on him. He finally escaped the abuse when he was 7, after three years of neglect, etc. He ended up in the hands of the very same facility his sister had been sold to years ago. He was recruited as a guard when he gave his name and explained his situation. That’s where he’s been for the last 7 years, fully unaware that SCP-034-FMM was actually Emerie Merriam… his sister.

Emerie has zero chill. She’s chaotic and annoying, sometimes becoming abusive and abrasive. The only real way to get her to chill is to sedate her if you can get close enough to do so without getting injured by her antics, as she has a relative fear of needles and will harm anybody who comes at her with one. As well as her chaotic nature, everything is a game to Emerie- and I mean everything
Looks - 
When not in the water, Emerie appears as a regular human girl with tan skin that never seems to burn, even when exposed to flames. She has straight long brown hair that sometimes has streaks of blonde depending on how long it’s been since she’s been in the water. On land, she wears olive green shorts and a sky blue T-shirt, but never shoes or socks. Well, she wears one sock, on her right foot. This sock covers tiny cuts that are scattered around her ankle and lower leg area. When she’s in water, or water has gotten on her, she bears a sleek golden-scaled mermaid tail. When in her mermaid form, she wears a rather childish ruffled pink bathing suit top, even though it's clear she doesn't mind how childish the top is.

Emerie’s only weapon is being an absolute pain in the ass.(pardon the profanity but it’s accurate) And a knife she stole from the scientists that nobody except her knows about, but that’s for when she finally decides to escape if she chooses to.
Strengths -
Emerie’s annoying personality means that she can get what she wants. The memories of her brother mean that she will not let her spirit be crushed by any of the experiments, and she treats them like games; this means that she often defeats the objective of researchers before they can even identify how while having them play right into her hands.
Weaknesses -
If somebody can get close enough to tie her ankles together, she cannot form her tail. This poses a danger to her when in water. However, if her wrists are tied together, she is completely unaffected.
Each time that Emerie almost escapes, security questions her and she willingly shares the exact way she escaped. This means that, due to her inability to defeat the truth serum used while interrogating her, escape becomes closer and closer to being impossible.

Emerie often will find ways around the experiment the researchers/scientists are trying to run, be it through being an uncooperative brat or using the materials given to her to actually complete the objective they gave her in a way they probably wouldn't expect. Her favorite game is the maze that slowly submersed itself, surprisingly. You'll meet that later if we get there. >:}	
Short Backstory -
Emerie was sold by her parents when she was 5. Not much is known about her past life except that she had a brother named Ivan Merriam. She's one of the longest surviving merfolk at the facility, having been there for ten straight years and attempting escape multiple times. Her first few years at the facility were spent alone, being studied behind bars. But after a while, a few scientists decided to give her a change in environment and allow her to engage more with others on occasion. The positive changes in her behavior this brought eventually got her to her current situation; she currently is housed in a forever-guarded enclosure with a small pool in the corner where she can entertain herself. The guard's face is familiar to her, but she is unable to place it due to her memory being wiped upon arrival, even though there was a malfunction and she didn't lose everything. Now she just plays games with researchers, providing inaccurate results and sometimes even sabotaging experiments. They used to punish her, but they've given up. The only reason she hasn't been terminated is that the results she provides are too curious to give up and show a level of maturity rising then declining again depending on her mood.
