She could see three older men, each armed with a heavy shotgun. She knew she couldn't fight. She should have objected as to patroling alone. Most who did that, well, they never returned the same- if they returned at all...

She brushed past the alpha and slid out of camp, not caring in the slihtest. She walked for a while before breaking into a run. She slowed as she neared the borders, panting.
