Ok, but I said 'atleast', so any amount of more people can join, but the only limits would be that there has to be equal or less Companions than Timelords

Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of the Void

Ratnika was walking about the guild, thinking to himself. What shall I do? I can't go out into the wild alone, I'm too weak! I must find somebody that can go with me out there. he thought to himself. He knew he was going to have to find a partner before he could ever adventure out in the wild, lest he might get killed by the wild Pokemon. He was thinking that he was still weak and vulnerable. So he set off to find a suitable partner to go on missions and explore the wilds with. So he was walking about, when he saw an Eevee, walking and looking around. He wondered to himself if this creature would work. He hovered over to it. "Excuse me, but what are you doing?" he questioned it. He wanted to know if this Eevee could become his partner, or join up in a 'team'.

"Not very long." she said. "Only a few minutes. I was listening in on your argument with Silas. He left you a note." she sipped her drink. "I can help you with him, if you want."

Mystique woke up. She yawned and stretched a bit. She put on her witchy clothes and hopped on her broom. She flew to the coffee shop to get something to eat. She saw Nyx and Silas arguing about something, so she listened in. She heard that Nyx wasn't agreeing to help Silas, and Silas was going to try and force her to help. She felt in debt to help Nyx, as Nyx had already helped her. She wouldn't have her illusion magic without her. So when Silas left and Nyx was passed out, she walked over to Nyx and picked up the note. She stuttered a bit while reading it, as since she has the mind of a 6 year old, she can't read or write really well. She set the note back in front of Nyx and sat in the seat that was next to her. She ordered something to drink as she waited for Nyx to wake up.

Sort of a father-ish figure, he raised them and taught them enough so that when the time came to go and protect the universe, they would know some basics, like how to fly a TARDIS and such
