I believe I said I was going with that anyways though. One for comedic value. Two for the fact that even if three sonic booms doesn't mean Mach 3, that just means there is no accurate way to gauge her tentacles speed. But we do know its faster then Mach 1. So Mach 3 it is.

Yep. And Ika I'd protecting it with however much force is applied behind tentacles capable of piercing nine feet of stone all constantly moving at Mach 3.

I honestly think that should be a rule for Ika Musume
Because facing the facts, there aren't many that could face Ika Musume in a life or death situation. So beyond those who could match her everyone else would just survive. Somehow. Through inexplicable application of logic.

Ika Musume held her ground through their taunts. Wincing at everyone of them. But when the laughter started... she set one foot back. Terror set in, just like on her maybe birthday when she though Chizuru and eiko were going to chop her up. Whatever this place was, it was an utter nightmare. Her inkvasion movies never had people this scary, even in the sad movies when the humans won.

Ika Musume knew it. She was going to due here at the hands of polluting humans. And a giant turtle. Ika Musume backed up further. Though she only had three steps until her back was against the wall. It was here that the situation became fight or flight. Instinctually Ika Musume knew there was nowhere her tentacles could latch onto to pull her safely away from the danger. So she fought.

"I don't want to die, De Geso ne!"

Immediately Ika Musume would lash out at her attackers, her tentacles moving at blinding speeds and with incredible strength. Each one would be aimed perfectly at those scaring her, though whether they would hit or not would be up to the reflexes of the conquerors. With each extension a sonic boom would ring out, each one merely a second away from the next, until they all blended together in a deafening continuous roar. Dust would begin to fly, rocks would be kicked up, only to be shredded to a fine powder by the flurry of tentacles. The purple floating cat would hide under Ika Musumes unused arm. Tears streamed down Ika Musumes face as her tentacles struck at the people, almost as if they were entirely separate entities from Ika Musume.

@lmpkio I will note that even if they fail miserably and are hit by every attack Ika Musume throws at them, because she's a joke character they will survive. Albeit with very amusing injuries.

Honestly, Ika Musume is being played as a bit of a coward. But she has always been very ready to shed tears, and is easily scared in the anime. And now she's thrown into a war zone. I think it's justified.

Judging on how many tentacles she has and how strong and fast they are, they will change their tone from maniacal laughter to screams of pain. Probably
