Acacia 'Ace' Malikova

Had begun moving towards the couch after her rant about hunters, she could still hear him cleaning the counter though it didn't last long as he placed the rag and bottle on the bench before the sound of straps hit her ears. Glancing over her shoulder at him whilst standing in front of the couch she'd witness him place all his weaponry upon the counter.

He began to make a promise, a promise that he would shoot anything nor that he thought he possibly could, "You'd be surprised, a great many men say they couldn't, and then they do it and they keep doing it." Eventually she'd sink down onto the couch taking up one half of it.

"How do you think I ended up with Truth?" she'd as him lightly, "I didn't kill her pack, but I saw the people who did. She was only about sixteen weeks old when I found her," Acacia would continue on, she'd stare at the small unlit fire-place as she rested and arm on the couches armrest and then placed her chin upon it, "Those she cared about were ripped away from her, no one to look after her, how do you think that would feel? I've lived here about three years, and I found her only a short week after moving here, she's never met another wolf."

Acacia had to be careful with the last section of her words, she wouldn't allow herself to tell the human what she was, and that was the truth about it. He had weapons, sure he'd taken them off, but if she mentioned a single thing about what she truly was, it could all end easily. For now, she remained where she was, staring quietly into the fireplace as she thought back to how she left her mother and sister those few years back, they needed her, but she still left, and it was visible on her face that she was being drug back to her own past, though whatever reason it was would be unknown.

Having been distracted glancing at the shuffling people through the parks trails Victoria hadn't noticed little Kubik wander off a short distance, her hand still rubbing at her wrist trying to remove that irritating feeling it gave off. As soon as a small yelp hit her ears her head would snap off to one side to look at Kubik now scurrying back after possibly being trodden on by the man with his phone. Extending her arms and grasping the pup once in reach she'd cradle him within her lap, "Legko Kubik , ty v poryadke ," she'd offer the small canine as she leaned down to rub her nose to his.

As she heard the man continue speaking into his mobile device she'd raise her head once more and stare at him with bright, sapphire hues. Her wrist now burning stronger than before as she pulled her watch back once more and began to scratch the glowing ink. She wasn't 100%, but, by the feels of it, the guy standing and talking about some complicated stuff she didn't know, was the one her wrist was making all the fuss over.

She would really offer any words as she saw the man still holding the device to his ear. Her white tank top now partially coated in the faint green stains from laying upon the grass and stained by the small dirt particles Kubik had smeared over her from their small play session, she knew at this point she wasn't exactly in a proper state to meet someone who looked to be so busy.

As he remained on the phone her eyes would trail over his figure, the shoulder length black hair that outlined his face so perfectly, the tanned skin that contrasted deeply to the pale alabaster hue of her own and the eyes, the eyes caught her attention as she couldn't help but stare ... that was until she caught herself out and looked back down at the tired looking Kubik still curled up within her crossed legs.

Watched him fumble about the question and dodge it by returning to clean up his mess instead, "You're a funny one, Ryan," she'd offer with a light chuckle as he tried once more to dodge the question she'd asked. Though she didn't care if he offered an answer or not, she wouldn't have pressured him into answering. As she continued to watch him she'd slide a bottle of spray disinfectant towards him, obviously gesturing for him to make sure it was properly cleaned.

Eventually the fumbling mess found his words to fit her question, though her eyes seemed to widen a partial amount at the mention of hunter, muscles tensing as she settled those now harsh looking baby blue eyes on him, 'I sell pelts and stuff from my kills. Or I would if I found something. I only just started recently and I haven't found anything.' Upon hearing the last bit of his words she'd sit up straight, "There's no hunting in these parts, I don't permit it and I don't condone the killing of helpless animals," she'd huff heavily, the Russian accent of her origins thickly coating her words making them sound a bit more threatening than planned.

"You saw Truth, yes?" she'd ask him and without waiting for a response continued on, "That there is purebred wolf, yet she didn't harm you in the slightest, did she? But, she, like every other wolf, defends what they call family, that's where all the growling and threatening comes in. Hunters go into their territory, get close to their pups and kill the adults without thinking. 'I just wanted its pelt, it was nothing but a filthy rabid animal anyway, didn't deserve to live'. I've heard plenty say it. Those animals that hunters aim those filthy weapons at, none of them done anything but defend themselves and the others that relied on them. Yet, they die in the end, because they are just another pelt to be collected and sold."

If it wasn't apparent by now, Acacia had a very, very strong thing against hunters, and she made that perfectly clear, like crystal clear. She wasn't sure what Ryan's reaction would be, but she certainly didn't look all that impressed as she slid off the counter to stand up fully. It was then she realized she was actually smaller than the man. She was a mere 5'5 and her slender figure made threats useless, although the harshness of those baby blue hues and the stern ring of her Russian history upon each word she spoke made it seem like she wasn't all that harmless.

Victoria had, at some point or another, found herself sitting in a small open section of the park where people hadn't wandered. The lush green grass padded her a seating place as she appeared to be talking to herself or the young canine waddling about her. She'd ignored most the people coming over and patting Kubik as she just called him away when she needed him, the sound of upset people, especially children when she done this made her partially smile just for a bit of amusement. Though Kubik, in her opinion needed to maintain the recall he'd already learned.

She spoke lightly as she called the creature over, "Kubik , Davay!" As he moved within a closer proximity she'd pull a small little beef flavored treat from a pouch she carried, "Khoroshiy Mal'chik!" she'd praise him allowing him to eat the small piece. She'd been slowly working on teaching him to sit and she raised a hand with another small piece of treat, "Kubik , Sidet'!" the little velvet nasal of the husky trailed after the treat upwards and above his own body, causing his rump to hit the floor as his tail wagged upon yet another appraisal session and another treat.

Victoria would call that enough after a few repeats beforehand and leaned back to lay upon the greenery of the field, pale eyes trailing up to the bright blue sky as she smiled and made a light groan as Kubik began pouncing over her and mouthing at fingers, hands, arms and occasionally shoe laces, though he tried to play tug-of-war with those she'd just wiggle her feet to entertain him while she remained flat on her back. That was until an odd feeling began to itch in her wrist, barely moving to glance she'd pull that arm over her abdomen to meet the other where lengthy nails dug at the skin lightly trying to sustain what she expected was a usual itch.

After another short moment she'd sit up to find herself facing a rather curious Kubik and smiled lightly before the burning in her wrist suddenly intensified to a not so ignore-able feeling. Unclasping the metal backside of her watch she'd slide it up her forearm a bit to glance at the faintly glowing scripture etched into her flesh. The date ringing in her eyes as she took in a deep breath, 'Th-that's t-today,' she'd think to herself, 'C-can't be today, no, I'm not ready, pick another day,' she'd continue on, some parts muttered under her breath as she suddenly began to glance up at the shuffling crowds go by whilst wrapping her spare hand around her wrist trying to ease the sensation that made her skin crawl with nerves.

Couldn't help but emit a light chuckle in humor alongside a disgusted face at the mess made, as she watched the young red-heads reaction to the liquor he attempted to drink. "It's not for everyone, no," she'd comment lightly as she'd wipe away the slowly drying liquid that had descended her cheeks from the recently ended 'procedure'. Glancing down towards the spilled vodka, both that spat and that straight from the bottle, as Ryan began wandering off, she'd huff, "I do hope you plan on cleaning that up also."

Light hues trailed after the mans actions as he headed for the couch and sprawled out upon it, and as he asked the question she'd just shrug, "I don't really do anything. I live out here alone, and I usually find ways to get money for the supplies I need... Though what I buy normally lasts a decent length of time," she'd begin saying, though now her curiosity piqued and she would gradually shuffle to the edge of the counter.

Both legs now dangling off its edge as hands propped her form upwards while she leaned forward slightly to see past the fridge, "What about you, what do you do?" she'd ask, the Russian accent clinging to each word as she watched him.

As Ryan, without warning, suddenly pressed the cloth to her leg again she'd tense up and without much of her own permission a painful cry mixed groan emerged her partially spread pale lips. The swelling of tears within her eyes visible as she clenched her teeth and looked up at the roof again pressing the crown of her skull against the wall behind her. Holy fuck, this hurts way too much, is it over yet? her mind would run rampant, feeling the rubbing of the cloth into the wound as the open flesh began absorbing the liquid, the skin around it visibly reddened from irritation though, that was to be expected she figured.

Suddenly the pressure from the cloth was released, though it wasn't long before a second cloth, this time a dry one, was pressed against and within the wound to absorb the stray vodka that wouldn't sink in. The balls of developed salty water dropped from their positions and slid down the translucent skin of her cheeks leaving light marks as she huffed a heavy breath.

When Ryan eventually stopped the torturous act she'd barely shift to look at him as she listened to him speaking, "Don't have any bandages," she'd offer lightly, her voice shaky as her ankle still sent sharp shocks of pain up her limb. "I guess, sure..." she'd say as he'd ask for the drink she was holding, though before passing it over though she'd take a larger swig of its contents before passing it over and leaning against the wall again. Bright baby blue hues staring at the roof as she left her perfectly fine leg dangling off the bench and held her injured one where it had been already, she didn't look like she wanted to move just yet... and she looked like she would probably hurt him if he tried anything else.

Victoria had been going about her morning as usual. A few clients to see too with problematic canines, she spent most her morning offering advice, tips and helped clients to train their furry companions as if they were her own and she when she was finished, always seemed like she had places to be... Though that was mostly a facade to ensure she had time to herself without having to be around or confront other people when it wasn't necessary.

Having the rest of the ahead day cleared, Victoria had planned out an activity for herself and her little pup 'Kubik'. They had crawled into her small white pick-up and headed for the local park after her last client was satisfied. She was new to the area and out of all the places she'd been it was the best so far, plenty of shade was scattered across its reaches and while numerous people attended its trails they were too deeply focused upon their mobile devices, work companions or deep thoughts on their most private relations.

As she pulled up to the curb of the park she'd make sure she was within a marked parking spot and smile lightly, sapphire hues lighting up with glee as she glanced down at the dead husky pup, well it was more like a dead-to-the-world slumber... But, he resembled dead sometimes which is a weird thought Victoria figured. Patting her lap and causing a stir to wake the young creature she'd speak in an enthused voice, it rung lightly in pitch with a thickly lined Russian accent drawing over each word, "Com'on Kubik! Let's go play!"

As she got out of the car she'd close the door and move to the other side, her mobile within one of her faded blue jeans pocket. Moving to the other side of the pick-up she'd open the passengers door and reach in to grasp the now hyped ball of black shaded through to white. He had a little black leather collar strapped around his neck with a chrome name plate reading his name on one side, while the other held the engraving of his owner's mobile number. Quickly locking the vehicle she'd place her keys within her pocket and moved off towards the pack with Kubik in her arms.

Eventually placing the young pup on the floor with no leash, she'd begin striding into the parks grounds. Her motions fluid and well placed as she whistled gently to call Kubik along, though he seemed to follow quite easily and only really stopped when strangers wanted to pat him and offer him compliments along the way. Victoria, of course, kept her ears and eyes focused on his whereabouts so no one would try to pick him up and wander off. She, at this point, was completely oblivious to the ink upon her wrist, it was covered by a silver watch she barely ever removed and as she hadn't paid it much attention these past few days or possibly weeks, she'd been unaware of the date or name written upon it.
@Zetsuko

I wouldn't mind if he hung around in the background. Though to the pack he'd be seen as a threat and chased off / attacked if within too close a proximity.
But, for now I'd like to try and get the RP going with just wolves and after a bit I may allow him to be added in to create a bit of confusion and conflict for other wolves once it's all progressed.

Acacia would barely notice the hushed tones of Ryan as he apologized for what was about to happen, within a few short moments she'd look up at the roof, hands clenching whatever they held onto tightly as she make an audibly unpleasant groan while clenching her teeth together. The burn of the alcohol sinking into the open wound made her eyes water slowly as she glanced down at Ryan when he pulled away quicker than she'd expected, "You better get this over with quickly, I am not patient with pain," she'd say towards him.

Bloody hell this needs to be over with, I cannot control anything with this kind of pain, she'd think to herself, the wolf within overly sensitive to emotional changes or injury/pain and quickly causing shifts if she's unable to control it. Still holding the bottle within her hand she'd draw its rim to her lips once more and take a swig before placing it down with her palm and digits still coiled around it. She'd continue watching Ryan as she awaited the continuation of the fiery sensation causing what felt like electric volts in her leg.

You can do this Acacia, you're a big girl, it's just a little scratch, she'd cheer herself on in her head, though it wouldn't last long as she leaned back against the wall, This is going to hurt, it's going so slowly, why can't he just get it over with.
