"Alright, I think I'll give it a shot then." Zuri replies before holding the staff with both hands, looks from top to bottom before she tries to wrap it with her aura. She closes her eyes and focuses, trying her best to do what she was told. Zuri felt her aura slowly surrounding the staff, and once it was completely envoloped within her aura, she says "serere' and it disappears out of her hands. "I-It.. worked?" as she opens her eyes, looking at her hands before looking at Felix and said "I did it!" with a smile.
Zuri was really surprised when Felix told her about something so convenient known as a mana inventory. When he was done explaining, she took mental notes of 'serere', 'vocāre', and the concepts of using her aura to store items. "Wait, you said invisible.. How do you see the things you've put into your mana inventory? Are you implying it's possible to lose items within your inventory if you forget about it?" she asks Felix.
"Oh, I see.." Zuri replies to Felix when he explained to her. Even though she didn't know about the different types of woods and materials he was talking about, she was intrigued by all of this. When a staff magically formed in front of her eyes and when Felix gave it a little backstory before offering it to her, her eyes shimmered with joy and appreciation. "Thanks a lot Felix! I'll return it to you once I find something more fitting, but until then, I'll make sure I take good care of this staff." she said, smiling as she starts taking a closer look at the staff and subtly waving it around, pretending to cast spells with it. Zuri wasn't paying much attention to Felix, but she heard something about a mana inventory, "What's a mana inventory..?" she asks.
Zuri let out a nervous "Ehehe.." when he said that wands are a hard medium to cast spells."On a second thought, maybe a wand isn't the best idea then." she pauses for a bit, "So uh.. what would you suggest me to use? Maybe a staff of some sort?" Zuri asks Felix. She starts envisioning how she would look like with a dark robe and a staff, excited for the mission.
Zuri listened carefully to what Felix told her, taking mental notes as she paid close attention to each and every word. She looked quite amused when he created a sword out of thin air through the use of mana. She took a few seconds to digest all this information before replying "Yeah, I've got a better idea of how magic and mana works now." and follows up with a question, "Do you think I could get a wand?".
'A-A curse?!' Zuri was a bit shocked at what Felix said. She tried not to think too much about the curse, especially before an important mission since being emotionally distressed is the last thing anybody wants. The flames that engulfed her during the purification spell only made her slightly nervous since it wasn't actually burning her, but it was a bit scary nonetheless. It was a bit disappointing to hear that it didn't work, but she didn't expect it to, at least not when she's been cursed for well over a thousand years.

She couldn't really keep up with what Felix was talking about regarding ley lines, but it sounded like some sort of solution to this curse that was deeply embedded within her. After Felix assigned Travis his new task, he offered to lecture her about how magic works, where she happily accepts his offer, "Yes please." Zuri replies with a smile.
"Thanks for enlightening me, Felix!" Zuri felt grateful that she had such friendly and talented teammates that were willing to help her. She also knew that she can trust them as well, which made her feel comfortable to ask them a more personal question. There was something she wanted to talk about with these two people who were knowledgable and experienced with magic.

"My past memories haven't returned after awakening from the crystal imprisonment that I was trapped in for hundreds of years and the only thing I remember is my name. I discovered that I have the power to manipulate darkness but I think there's more to this.." she pauses for a few seconds to catch her breath and think about what she wanted to say, "It feels like my past memories are clouded or something.." Zuri walks a little bit closer to Felix and says "I want to find out who I used to be, and I'm hoping that there's something that can be done.." she finishes.
Zuri had a lot of questions but she didn't want to take up too much of their time for her concerns. "H-Hey Felix, I was just wondering if you had any advice for me regarding my powers and if I should be concerned about using too much of my mana..?" She asks Felix with a slightly worried look about the mission, afraid that she'll make mistakes that might hurt her own teammates.
Zuri stayed quiet throughout the entire meeting since she doesn't talk much unless someone mentions her name or when she's curious about something. She was a bit nervous about tagging along on such a dangerous mission for her first mission, but she felt confident that her allies would protect her if she was ever in any danger.

Since most of them were preparing for the mission, she decided to do the same. However, instead of preparing her weapons, runes or whatnot like the others, she wanted to talk to Felix about her powers and some small talk to get to know him better, maybe because Felix and Zuri had auras that are polar opposites of one another.

She could sense Felix's bright aura from a distance, so she heads toward it. After a few minutes of walking, Zuri arrived at the room where Felix and Travis were in. Zuri stood at the door for a few seconds before knocking on it to see if they'd let her in. She felt nervous, even though there wasn't anything to be nervous about. "I hope I'm not interrupting them.." she mumbles as she waits at the door.
It was time for Zuri to get moving to the living room since it's been a few minutes since the announcement. She heads over and finds a place to sit. Zuri looks around and waits for the last few people to arrive, hoping it doesn't take too long.
