The main difference about this Fuji is that... well there's a richer Kamen Rider Flavor (you were the only one back then). There's no Japanese sun goddess in the form of a wolf (at least not yet)... And instead of Reisen being the "Other" Touhou character to join after Kaguya, It's now Mokou (Which means It's less Master Servant type and more I'M GONNA FUCKING KILL YOU type of interactions)... Oh... and no deadpool.

I perfectly understand how it affected people because I was the one who caused it. And I know about the power of Words... look what I did with it... And for the last bit, I'd let people be the judge of how they take my actions, Their views on me are their own, I have no right and therefore wont force them to change that.

I have my sources and everyone else have theirs and I respect that.

Won't ask people to change their views according to mine, just laying it out there.

The point still stands, that Character and Personality is different, and People still tend to put a "character trait" in the personality section of character sheets. I've done it myself, and so did the majority of people, not just here. It's quite widespread.

Bravery, honesty, loyalty, respect, courage. They are all Characteristic traits. The best thing to come out of the difference is... well because there is a difference. You can have a proper goody two shoes character with all the right things checked, Brave, Honest, Courageous, ect... and yet act like a complete douche. And that last bit is the personality. It's what people perceive you to be.

For example, Raineh's sheet with Mokou.
Mokou's apathy, and general cold and quiet demeanor to everyone other than Kaguya and perhaps Keine is her Personality. However, her reactions to anything that involves Kaguya that is mostly hidden from anyone else, that tsundere bit... now that's Character.

Now this view of mine maybe because of how the two were defined in all them characterization lessons my English professor on that British school drilled one me... I don't know, maybe the Brits have a different view on the matter than the rest of the world (I'm not British)

Now looking back... I cocked up on that one. I have managed to derail everything from the actual root... It's that I used fourteen words to describe Kaguya's demeanor. My defense to that... well If you can do something with less... why bother with more? And I solved the problem like ten hours ago, I'm just prolonging the discussion about something that's not really the cause of the original problem... because, I found it enjoyable. I'm sorry if everyone else didn't, I'm being a massive asshat and being incredibly selfish. At least I'm being honest... If bluntly so.

And yes that means I'm sorry and now can we move on? (Uhuh I was the reason we were stuck in the first place but now that I've finished being a douchebag we could go on again)

It isn't hard to make it longer... Which is why I did make it longer. The problem is... well I'll let a picture speak for it.



There is a difference between Personality and Character... And the vast majority of what people put on "Personality" sections of character sheets are in fact the other.

I could have sworn that having enough knowledge of the English language to Roleplay properly would also include something as basic as knowing the difference between the two, but time and time again that's proven wrong.

I was never once in a conversation with the GM for the past few posts... It was you who kept it up. I respected what she wanted, and I also respect your views. You have all the right in the world to disagree with what I like, but you don't have the right to force me to your own ideals. I respect your ideals, but I disagree with it, and I'm not gonna force you to change it... So I ask that you don't force me to change mine.

And going back to the saying... "There are many dogs BETTER than my little Shih Tzu... But I LIKE my Shih Tzu. I won't trade her off for better dog".
It's not about what's BETTER, It's about what people LIKE... And I respected what the GM LIKES. Is it not difficult to respect what I LIKE?

Besides, It is still a fact that what most people fill a Personality section up are either habits or other traits. It is the behavior of the character when in open interaction with another. Descriptive words like Shy, Chatty, Friendly, Cheerful, Sociable, Introvert... That's personality. Descriptive words like Brave, Strong willed, Honorable, Merciful, Stubborn... Are words that describe WHAT KIND of a person the character is, It describes their reaction given a situation instead of an interaction with another character.

And then there's those who fill it up with things that pertain as to what the character likes. That's entirely different altogether. Those are Quirks and Idiosyncrasies. They help build a picture of the character, but they are in no way related to a character's personality.

For example. If I put "Kaguya loves to engage in mortal duels with Mokou that always ends up with either or both of them getting killed"... That would make someone think "Oh she likes to fight and is probably very aggressive and intimidating in a conversation"... Which is the complete opposite of what she is.
