My online moniker is Adamant, and as the title states I'm in search of some wonderful people to begin a writing journey with. I'll try to keep my introduction short; no doubt, if we write together, you'll eventually learn a lot more about me. But here are the basics:
- I'm a female, 25. - I have been roleplaying/writing since I was 10, which gives me a solid (almost) 15 years of writing experience. - At worst I can promise one post a week. At best, one post every day or every other day. - I only roleplay through PMs, since I enjoy themes such as violence, profanity, things of an "adult" nature...all that stuff. - I can play both male and female main characters, and I do enjoy playing both. - I write at least three paragraphs per response, and usually longer for an introduction. Quality over quantity, as they say. - I'm a straight sucker for romance, but I won't let it overshadow the main plot.
What I expect in a partner:
- Be over 18, ideally over 21. - A "literate" or at least "high casual" writing standard. "Advanced" would be swell. Anything less than that is bound to make me lose interest sooner or later, especially with repetitive grammatical, spelling, or punctuation errors, or lack of description. - Patience. Life is crazy. I'm sure yours is too; I just ask that you keep me updated, and I'll keep you updated. - Post at least two large paragraphs each time.
Plots.
#1: Under Your Scars
He's a military veteran, recently returned from combat and honorably discharged due to injuries sustained during his last tour. He returns home, finding himself unable to cope with "regular life". Memories still haunt him, and he finds solace in a friend he's known since childhood. Said friend provides all the support she can muster, only to be trapped in her own hell - an abusive relationship she cannot find the strength to escape.
After finding herself the victim of a violent stalker, she soon discovers her upstairs neighbor is anything but human. Rather, he's a demon disguised as one, settled comfortably into his mortal guise. He offers her a deal - to give her everything she's ever wanted, and protection against those who would wish to harm her...in exchange for her eternal soul at the time of her death.
#4: Freedom
After a powerful empire conquers the kingdom of her birth, a young woman is taken prisoner and forced into a life of humiliating servitude to cruel nobles. She soon takes to one of her master's pet fighters (similar to the concept of a Roman gladiator) after being sent to tend to his wounds after a brutal skirmish, and they both plot to gain their freedom from a terrible fate.
#5: Guardian
He's a powerful angel who volunteered to descend to Earth in order to stem the demonic presence in a city drowning in sin. She's an exotic dancer with that fabled heart of gold, pandering nightly to the thirsty gazes of criminals and businessmen in order to feed her ailing mother. When a great demon marks her for possession, the angel puts her under his watchful eye, though their relationship may soon corrupt a higher being once thought incorruptible. Or perhaps, he would be her redemption.
#6: Bloodlust
Moving to a small town, a city girl laments the loss of everything familiar. She soon takes to her mysterious neighbor, who only seems to leave his home at night, and whom most of the townspeople seem to fear. As a series of violent killings shake the town - killings where the victims are left drained of all blood - she must decide whether or not her new "friend" is to truly be trusted.
