I can understand the frustation, Pup. It's seriously unfair when people put far too much effort into trying to make their character cool, but far too little in doing so... nicely, to say the least. I've been reading one or two posts around and I have to admit, I'm quite disappointed.

Bael pursed his lips into a thin line. Truth be spoken, he was barely managing to pay any attention to the... awkward conversation happening in front of him- where Thane, The Ice Man, as Bael more commonly knew him- and the man's weapon spoke between each other. His mind was constantly tracing back to what he had done... Telling Lily about the seal. Did she pay attention to him? The look on her face... It was the look of someone who had no idea of what was going on. Would she end up managing to get herself unsealed before it was too late? Exhaling a sigh, the boy's eyes focused up at the darkened sky, She'll be just fine, it's not like I'm the only one capable of protecting her. Not that I did that, anyway, I caused her more harm than everything... And would end up causing more. Just to sate my curiosity about a human's emotional limits. He thought to himself.

Only now, he'd realize that the conversation had been directed to him.

Thane said "You seem to know us, and I have seen you before. Tell us your name."

The boy nodded his head, remaining perfectly still as he spoke; "I'm Baalthar, otherwise known as Bael for simplicity." He explained- naturally hoping that they wouldn't know him by name. Bael wasn't... a popular demon, no- after all, he was a common one. Of course, he had certain mastery over the shadows, but that wasn't enough to earn him respect from those who were far superior, such as Thane and Macbeth.

Why not? Would it be because Bael would be forced into hard training and become to powerful? Or because Bael would be punished and damaged beyond repair?

Or become completely powerless for treason... or end up finding a method of stealing other's demons power to the point of becoming powerful beyond comprehension.
