Bael

The boy briefly eyed the book he held in his hands, keeping a smile. "Pizza... There are many things we can- and should try, Lily." He opened the book, eyeing it over. It was apparently a book about a fictional story of forbidden romance, or something of the sort. His eyes were focused on the book as he spoke. "And places we jhave to go. Do you think we will ever have the opportunity to actually travel somewhere?" When Bael said he, he was actually refering to himself, as he had no idea of the angel also had the desire to travel this world and meet every kind of place there was, but he didn't made the effort of explaining it to her.

His eyes only moved up from the book when he noticed that she was leaning over the book in an attempt to see it. Bael moved the book down a bit, so she could see it... even if she probably wouldn't manage to read a thing since it was facing Bael.

"Lily." The boy spoke softly, his tone... a bit disappointed. "I was completely wrong, I think this book is terrible. I'm sorry."

"I remember Heaven perfectly. After all, I just came from there."

"And yes, Heaven is my paradise."

"Heaven is... beautiful and... lo-... lovely."

"There's a large castle in the center of it all where the Arch-Angels live. I live there because my dad is Michael, the Arch-Angel."

"It's so calm there, as if nothing bad could ever happen. The grass is so green, the skies so gloriously blue. Yet..."

"Sometimes, I believe the Earth is even more beautiful. It's filled with so much life, so much freedom. I envy the humans sometimes."

Bael had been listening without saying a single word, his expression remaining rather blank, his blue eyes slightly widen as he stared down at her. This was how she saw Heaven then... As good as it was, she still found Earth better. Why, exactly? From what she said, Heaven was... a calm place, free of any violence or evil things. The lack of freedom was the only reason she found Earth more beautiful... and the reason of why she could envy the humans? This made him think about hell... It was obscure, you couldn't trust a single soul in there... You could hear constant terror and screams of souls being tortured. Until now, the demon had been used to this, but to think that a place like Heaven existed was to question the real motive of why one would remain in Hell? Well... To be honest, everyone questioned things sometimes. Even angels didn't find Heaven quite enough for them.

"Freedom, isn't it so? I guess I can agree that Earth is full of it." The boy took a step forward, being dangerously close to the angel right now. His expression was serious and he had a strangely determined look on his eyes. "It's also filled with unique and thrilling opportunities..." If Lily did not move, she'd feel slightly pressed by Bael now, even. Slowly, he moved even further forward, his arm being extended as well... In front of Lily. It reached for one book and as soon as he took hold of it, he moved back and took a few steps away from Lily, looking at her with a smile.

"This one seems interesting."

“Umm…I ho-pe yo-u don’t mind if I t-ag alo-ng with yo-u.”

Christopher turned himself slightly to give Zivy a thumbs up. "I was actually hoping you'd follow, Zivy." The boy confessed with a smile, keeping on walking. Hmm, so art class, huh. I hope we can find it. While they walked in search of the classes, Christopher couldn't help but constantly think about how this year would be... Would something nice happen? What about his abilities? Would he manage to improve them and better protect the friends he had yet to make? He glanced back at Zivy, his smile never fading away. Seems like he's my first friend, heh. I wonder what his abilities are...Guess I should just ask, that shouldn't hurt.

"So uh, Zivy... Sorry if this is a rude question but... Why are you in here? I mean, you're special too, right?"

Bael saw Lily motioning him over and was relieved that it literally took a few seconds to find the precious bookshelf. The boy quickly made his way closer, having the widest smirk possible on his lips; it was nearly scary, really.

"Hell's Breath!" He yelled, his eyes scanning every and each of the books, even if he didn't actually read their title. He was just taking in the quantity of books in there... It was more than he had stored over his whole life in Hell. Bael moved directly behind Lily, placing each of his hands on each of her shoulders. He leaned himself closer to her, whispering in her ear. "Look at how many books, Lily... That might be my definition of paradise. If you ever recover your memory, would you tell me how your paradise is like? As in... Heaven?"

Honestly, he wasn't sure of what he was trying, the question just came to mind. What was heaven like?. A magical place with a bunch of babies playing different instruments, perhaps. Bael wasn't sure... What he was sure of, is that he'd never see what it was like. Not that it interested him a lot, either way.
I will go ahead and try to post something, ha.
