Bleach: A New Dawn

The woman watched the man come at her. She set her feet then shifted at the last second. She used her shikai to shift the blow away in a parry and used her momentum to punch through the strike. The hilt would be coming at Hikari's throat like a blunt spear.

She was fast, but this was a warm up. She wasn't sure what the man could do, but she was going to make sure that he realized she didn't rely on just one aspect of her offense. She just hoped he didn't underestimate her.

"Yes...the only time my parents had a sense of humor." her smile wavered a mite before she followed Hikari. She listened as he spoke though she didn't say anything when he revealed she would need to spar. She merely drew her zanpakuto and held it aloft.

"Serious huh? Well, I don't fight with him sealed. One More Time, Yuurei Shinjin." the sword glowed brightly and shifted before it appeared. She held the sword by the left pommel. She slid into a stance, holding the sword like a tonfa with the blade against her forearm.

Tabo and Hikari sat in a dark area playing a game of Shogi, the game was to help increase Hikari's planning time and intelligence, helping him to predict an opponent better. So far they were an hour in, and it looked like the board was equal for both players. Tabo was sitting on top of his cane with his legs crossed watching Hikari who was sitting on the floor with a finger on his chin."Hm? Someone's here," Tabo said as he sensed a new presence, looking away for a second."Yeah, I sensed them a couple minute's ago," Hikari mumbled."Hm, really? Because they just got he-" Tabo didn't finished his sentence as Hikari moved a rook piece then stood up. Hikari grabbed his Zanpakuto and attached it to his waist before he walked out, wanting Tabo to take his time with his next move as Hikari did. In about ten minutes Hikari had come up with over a thousand ways his move could have played out, which some would have thought it'd be taking it too far but it was to pass the time after all. Once he got outside the barracks he saw some girl with pink hair, it heavily reminded him of Jewel, someone he had to visit sometime soon. "Hello," Hikari greeted to the woman with a smile.

The pink haired woman sighed deeply as she prepared herself. "Ok. You only make a first impression once. You can do this." Haruka nodded once to herself and made her way towards the barracks.

She smiled at the man that met her, "Hello, my name is Haruka Katsuye. I would like to apply for Squad 10 as my first placement." she said confidently.

Wait whut? Squad 2? additional training? Dx Kaizo doesn't believe in that crap, if you have the raw basics needed then they can be built on during your time there...sure your missions may start off with you being not so stealthy however as time goes on and your skills get better ya missions get sneakier and harder ^.^ Squad 10 just stare at tumble weeds all day! xD(Nothing like a Squad rivalry xD)
