Bleach: A New Dawn

The pink haired shinigami made her way back to the barracks, puppy in tow. She asked after Hikari and followed the guard's directions to where his last known location was. She began to speak but silenced herself when she saw him with another shinigami. Instead of interrupting, she took a seat and waited for him to finish, and pet the dog as it seemed to glare at the men.

she realizes it isn't a normal dog (she comments that it must of had a strong soul to take on so many hollows). But, it won't stop her from doting on the form it took. Come on...it's a cute lil puppy!

Haruka continued her shopping until she managed to get all of the basics. She arranged for one of her more discreet guards to wrap the items up and to deliver the package to the tenth barracks. She would retrieve it later.

For now, she needed to get the dog checked, figure out its breed, coloring, blah blah blah. She booked an appointment in ten minutes and decided to just walk there. The dog was slowly calming down, and began to look around curiously. He let out a small bark up at Haruka. She smiled at him and poked his nose gently. She laughed happily when the dog's eyes crossed and he licked her finger. "A little jokester huh?"

Haruka picked up the pup and made her way towards the barracks. She hummed a song quietly as she scratched the pup behind the ears gently. "You are just so cute! But your paws are big. You're gonna be a big dog huh?" she asked it before checking it's gender. "Ok. You are a boy." she settled the pup in her arms.

She walked into the pet shop with him still in her arms. "You'll need a name. Ooh, and a badass collar." she mused happily. The pup seemed to be content in her warm embrace and despite him still shaking in fear. "Those leeches traumatized you, didn't they? You must have such a strong soul to go through that..." she said to him encouragingly.

Haruka looked down at the pup and smiled gently, "It's ok, you're safe now. How about we get you some food and some water huh?" she cooed to the pup. She kneeled down and offered her hand to it.

"I will, Hikari. I'll take this one back to the tenth division. Then I'll go out for some supplies to take care of him." she looked back to the pup when he shunpoed off. "Ready, Little One?" she asked it.

Haruka's body became a silver blur when she activated Aerodynamic. The masks on her side fell to the ground in pieces as she zipped back and forth, slashing and stabbing at them. She was thankful that Hikari believed her and allowed the creature a chance to receive some help.

"Alright...there. I think they are all off of you now." She said as she looked at her handiwork. She back flipped away from it to give it some space, then made her way to Hikari's side. Destroying it would have been easier, but it wouldn't have been right. "How are ya feeling, Big Guy?" she asked the creature. She hoped it had come to its senses.
