Quinn Daives

Quinn listened quietly and to the plan then hummed a little bit. It would work, but she wasn't exactly sure how she'd fit in since no one seemed to notice her. She just shrugged and resigned herself to taking up a defensive position with the flag.

While her powers were definitely offensive, she figured that she could be of more use. What was the point of constantly defending when you had no way of really sending them back to regroup? She didn't say anything, if someone cared to know her power, she'd tell them. But she wasn't keen on sharing the information openly.

She looked over her suit once more and frowned at it. The damn thing was very tight, but it--thankfully--came with a rather discreet cup. Quinn huffed at the posturing from the scorpion guy, but retained her silence. Which reminded her that she needed some ammo.

She began to walk around and picked up some sturdy rocks of different sizes. She weighed them carefully, so as not to get anything larger or heavy than a paintball. Once she had a good amount of them, she set them into the loading bay on her suit's left arm.
Tinder smiled widely at the interaction between Fateen at the young man. She thought for a long while and thought on her own interactions with her Pokemon.

"That is...difficult to answer. I'd say they were all of those things to me. They are both my friends, my closest friends. They are also my allies in battle. They fight for me and in my defense against other pokemon. They are a means to an end, since they are the ones that allow us to free the other pokemon in Cipher's control. My pokemon are also tools, just as I am to them. My brothers spent over a year to breed my Metang. Just so I could raise it from a Beldam and realize that I could be useful. Gabite protected me, and showed me that someone other than my family could care for me enough to get mad when others mistreat me. And Metang taught me the love of something that you raised. The unconditional love I never understood, even though my foster parents did their best. It showed me that they WERE my parents. Just as I AM it's trainer, even though I didn't hatch it." the Gabite huffed in agreement and nudged her cheek. "I want to help rescue those Pokemon stolen by Cipher. I don't want them to suffer. They should feel love and care, while still being able to teach us." she said resolutely.
Haha, maybe.

"Calm down little man, you can keep her," Milo said looking at the Gible deciding to try and pet him instead to calm him down. Instead it resulted in a nip, "I got you little man." Milo was almost oblivious to the woman who came out and offered them a place to stay for the night. Looking around skittishly he eventually came to the decision, "If it's not to much trouble, I'll do my best to stay out of the way."Milo walked over to his ride, grabbed the climbing gear to act as his pillow, and his guitar no way would he leave that out all night. "Thank you again," he began walking towards the woman, then realized the other girl said yes to, turning around and smiling back to her, "Looks like we're roomies now, so guess I need to introduce myself to both of you my name is Milo. So whats yours?"

The Gabite, a dragon that stood over five feet tall--growled at the man. He wanted to bite his hand off for daring to touch him, but his trainer would be upset. He calmed again and placed his head on her shoulder with a happy little growl.

For her part, Tinder just laughed quietly at her Pokemon and rubbed his nose. The Gabite growled at the man, Milo, when he mentioned "rookies".

"My, you are jealous today." she kissed his snout and rubbed his chin to calm him down. "It's ok. The nice woman here won't let him do anything, Mk?" the dragon Pokemon looked at the strange woman intensely before he calmed once more. "Please, pardon him. He is possessive by nature, like nearly all Gabite. His attentions have focused on me since he is unable to acquire a horde of treasures like most others have." she says this fondly. "My name is Tinder, and this is my Gabite. We're still thinking up a nickname for him. He is picky." the Pokemon huffed and nudged her shoulder playfully.
Ok
The girl looked up startled when a man spoke up in her defense. She eyed him carefully, in case he was a Cipher spy or agent. "I..uh...I need to stay here, but thank you, sir." her Gabite growled at the man protectively and glared at the man's hand.

Tinder was HIS and no male should dare lay his grubby little fingers on her.

This was a common occurrence to the young woman, and she responded with a gentle laugh. "Relax, my friend. I trust you." she said and laid her hand on the pokemon's neck again. The Gabite growled in contentment and settled at her reassurance. Tinder looked at the man again, "Thank you again, sir." she shifted away from him and began to walk away when a woman spoke to them.

She was wary, but something about the woman relaxed her. "Um...yes, thank you for your kindness. I will find a way to repay you." she said with a polite bow.
Oh
Quinn Daives

It'd been a long week for Quinn. There wasn't any other way to put it. She'd been transferred out of her old school rather abruptly, hurriedly packed up, shipped off and evaluated. For Quinn, whom was rarely happy with such occurrences, that meant extra time dedicated to getting acquainted with the school's medical staff, extra paperwork for her balancers, amongst other things. It was all just a damn hassle that left her late to her latest evaluation.

As she jogged her way into the hall at a normal pace, she internally groaned and scrubbed a hand over her face. "It couldn't be chess? Jeopardy? I would have taken anything...nope. Gotta be Capture the Fuckin' Flag..." she muttered to herself. She quickly received her team assignment and rules after she handed off the note from the Medical Wing that explained her tardiness.

Quinn made her way over to a group of Team 1 members and introduced herself to them. "Hey, sorry I am late to the fun. My name's Quinn Daives. What do you need me to do?" she asked the young woman that seemed to be doing most of the talking, Deborah? Was that what that guy called her? She looked the group over with a neutral face, just taking stock of what was going on.

Tight group, those three kids. Probably rich, siblings of some sort? Probably. One isn't that heavily dressed, thin, male. Might night see a lot of combat. Female, older? Hard to tell. Eye patch, clothes meant more for battle. Other male, gotta be the youngest. Beast nature of some sort. Deborah, loud. Seems a little bossy, a leader of some sort? The one next to her, a female. She and the tall guy are pretty difficult to read. The female seems outgoing, but the guy...might be of some use. Tall build, muscled stature...front line work for sure--wait...did he just turn into a goddamn scorpion?? Are you...ugh...how does that ever work? well, I'm not exactly one to talk but...giant arachnid thingy...I hate arachnid thingies...Then him, male also looks like a planner. This should be interesting..despite the giant fucking scorpion!
Ok. Can what team is she on?
