A drop ship flew over the Red Base and dropped a pod. The pod slammed into the dirt right next to the base itself, then opened with a hiss. A black and red armored soldier stepped out with a groan, "I hate planetary drops...I really do." A feminine voice groused. She pat imaginary dirt from her armor then looked around. "Looks...fun enough." she grunted before she made her way into the base to
look for the Commanding Officer. "Anyone home?!" she called.

*Thumbs up*This balances out the playing field with Leo being a Freelancer on Blue Team. Although, it will be interesting to see how they interact...

Thanks! I'm interested in seeing that as well.
Tinder talked quietly with her parents in the darkness of their home. She urged them to run to the safety of Sinnoh or Hoenn, but they stood their ground. She pleaded and begged them to, she didn't want them to get hurt when it came out about what she was going. She knew they'd be the first ones Cipher would go after. They looked at each other in that way that soulbound pairs did: that mind conversation they could have. Before they could answer though, a knock came at the door.

Tinder refused to leave, but her mom darn near pushed her out the back door of the house while her father went to answer it. Tinder looked put out but quickly ran off.

Tinder's parents:

The man opened the door with a set jaw. His eyes flashed in recognition of the boy in front of him before the look was coolly wiped away. "What do you want?" he asked menacingly. His wife was tiny in comparison to the Ursaring of a man. Tinder herself was taller than her mother, though, so that wasn't saying much.

"Dear..." she laid a hand on his bicep. "Let him in...maybe...there is news."

"But--" the woman shook her head. The man sighed deeply and stepped aside for Milo.

"Come in. Hurry." he said.

Tinder:

Tinder slowed to a stop in front of the Poke Mart. She took in a deep breath and blew it out. The sounds of a battle echoed in her ears though, which pulled her gaze up from the ground. Six peons were beating the crap out of some guy as he protected his Pokemon the best that he could. Rage ignited in her belly and she released both of her Pokemon. "Garchomp, Dragon Breath." The Pokemon gave a battle cry and did as commanded at the Peons. The attack welled up in his mouth before it was fired at three of the Peons on the far side of the young man.
Name: Hawke

Alias: Agent Oklahoma

Team: Red

Armor abilities (if any) (Freelancers only): Balance Enhancing GrapplIng Systems. This is an intricate system of grappling hooks and cables that she can use for trapping, traveling, and brutalizing. The wrist mounts are beneath her wrist, which allows for added handheld control without clutter. This system also contains an internal gyro stabilizer to prevent dizziness and disorientation.

Hawke is a weapons expert and stealth operative. As part of the Red Team, she is usually in charge of weapons care and distractions. She keeps Xi and her armor abilities a secret as she is hiding. She doesn't say much unless engaged directly.

Weapons: BR85HB SR Battle Rifle with an underslung shotgun attachment, Spartan Laser.

Other: A pretty good mid-range fighter, utilizes a mix of Muay Thai Kickboxing and gun-kata in hand-to-hand combat scenarios, despite not dual wielding weapons. She also has a vast knowledge of use and mechanics of many weapons, as well as a variety of disarming techniques. She will often employ this knowledge should she run out of ammo for her primary weapons.

No. I like Swamperts.
Erica groaned and stretched slowly. She was still a little sore from the day before, but it wasn't nothing she'd hadn't faced before. She stayed long enough for a breakfast-to-go, some light sparring, and last minute advice from her family. She then hurried to get to the others.

It took her a little while to find the place they were meeting, but was happy for the minimap. She looked much better than she felt. Her shirt was light but functional and hugged her comfortably. Her pants were much the same way, form fitting but not suffocating. She'd unequipped her Cestus and Leg Cestus weapons so that she could go in shoes and gloves. Her hair was still wild and untamed, despite the attempt to brush it.

"Well that's an interesting take on it, different situations so different thoughts. Different forms of opinions are a good thing, atleast when they aren't hurting anyone," Hikari said before beginning to eat again, though this time not as fast as he were, actually taking his time. He didn't really know why, maybe because he was called out for it? Or just wanted to savor it? He set his chopsticks down and took a sip of his drink before speaking again, "I think it's pretty simple what she meant, but uh...I don't think I can tell you, sometimes it's best to figure out some things on your own. Sometimes it's better that way, and needs to be that way."

"Ugh...I hate cryptic advice and world shattering truths about one's self." she rolled her eyes then checked on Alucard. The dog was still eating although a little more slowly. She continues to eat then settled down to think on those words...again.
Quinn Daives

Quinn sighed in relief when the lights went out. Sure, she could control what specific source of energy she could absorb, but that didn't mean she didn't feel the other sources. Whenever she activated her power, light energy always felt euphoric. It was so tantalizing, all of that energy that both caressed and assaulted the skin of her face. It was an undeniable pleasure, the power that specific form of energy gave her, like forbidden fruit. But the consequences of the last time she took a bite was still fresh. That rush of power and aggression frightened her frankly. So, even though she was robbed of her sight, the darkness offered her comfort within its arms. She kept on the edge of the desert at Valjean's warning but then shot back at him, "Thanks for the concern, I feel all warm and fuzzy inside now."

She felt the sand shifting beneath her feet then hummed, "I can move the sand for you if you'd like? How far out do you want it?" she asked. He warned her, she could at least offer her services as a show of good faith. She definitely felt the heat of the increase of heat and settled her power to absorb the heat slowly to keep her skin at a steady temperature. Not a cool temperature per say, but steady in the face of the rising heat.
Tinder whistled lowly at the rides before she hopped onto one. "Very nice. Wonder how much these things cost?" she said quietly as she ran her fingers over it. She turned the key and settled a little but at the roar of the engine.

"Ha. Maybe you should go try and make sure you don't have to go." she said back to Kaiten. "I'll meet you lot at Agate Village." she said before she took off suddenly.

She needed to find her parents and get them as far away from Orre as possible. She wasn't stupid, this was incredibly dangerous. She wanted to take the time while she wasn't on Cipher's radar to get them to safety.

It took a few hours to get back to Agate Village. The quiet, quaint little town was exactly as she remembered those long months ago. She managed to stash the hover cycle in a secluded little spot--a place she used to escape to--and made her way towards her home not too far away. She knocked on the door and waited quietly. The door opened a crack and a bright blue eye peeked in between while a voice cane through.

"You've done eno-Tinder?" the door shut again before the young woman could say anything. Before her face could fall, the sounds of locks and tumblers rang out and the door swung open.

"Hey Mo-oof!" The smaller spitfire of a woman knocked the air from Tinder's chest as she engulfed her in a running hug. Tinder laughed softly and hugged the sobbing woman back. Her father stood by the door, a proud smile on his face and tears in his eyes. "Pops..."

"Come in, Tinder. Hurry, Cipher is always watching." Tinder shuffled herself and her mother into the house with a frown. The door closed and locked behind them.
