Regalia & Remara

Taking Inyatas hand Regalia helped the young corsair swing up into place behind her on her steed and waited for her to get situated, giving the little one a soft squeeze of her hand before pushing her horse forward and following Ishmael and the wagon, hanging back a little bit and keeping her eyes out for anything that may come up. Hearing Inyatas question she chuckled somewhat. It wasn’t a bad question but it was one that was difficult to answer. “Being a Corsair is more than grand adventures on the high seas and wondrous treasures found buried in the sands of a deserted beach. It’s about being a leader. Someone your crew can look up to and trust and someone that makes those that would cross you think twice. It’s about having an air around you that gives off the feeling of confidence and respect. A captain without the respect of her crew will be a captain for only a short time.”

“The last thing a Corsair wants to deal with is other pirates trying to take her hard earned treasure,” she said as they rode; “Turning her head slightly so she could look back at Inyata sitting behind her. “Anyways, tavern brawls lead to torn silk. Why waste a perfectly good shirt on a ruffian that isn’t worth the cost of the silk,” she said with a wink. “I’m not saying be as stoic as that one,” Regalia said pointing over to Ramara. “But pick your battles.”

Ramara smirked hearing Regalias comment but it faded quickly, having been riding a bit in front and staying closer to Ceceria than the rest. “Very rude indeed,” Ramara said in an ever flat tone as she kept her eyes on the road ahead for the most part but every so often they would dart from side to side to check the layout of the land as they passed incase an ambush was set up in the tree lines. She listened to the clip clop of the horses that had with them, the fall of footsteps made by those that were walking and the creaking of the wheels of the carts turning, taking note of each sound as it came to her ears and keeping an ear out for any changes further away from the.

“I am sure you have a great many tricks up your sleeves.”
Sana rested peacefully in Hughs arms as the night passed her only movement throughout the night was to snuggled closer to him. Sana slept deep and even though there were no dreams it was still the most peaceful sleep she had had in a very long time; even when not adventuring it was difficult to get a full nights rest, especially when traveling. You always had to be on lookout for something or someone that could come out when you least expected it. That night Sana slept deeply, feeling safe and secure in Hughs arms. Even as the sun began to rise she didn’t wake, turning her head and burying it against his chest to shield her eyes from the light that was breaking. That was until she heard a scream rip out and into the darkness of slumber.

Jolting up right she hissed as the light hit her when her eyes snapped opened. “What the hell are you screaming about Ellyn?” she started to scream before her voice trailed off as she saw the smoke rising up from the distance. Rising slowly from her place next to Hugh on the fur she swallowed slightly and took a few steps. The smoke was coming from the town, where they were to meet Ellis. Was he already there? Was he okay? Was it something more sinister? Something pulled at her stomach and she turned to look at those still sleeping.

“Everyone wake up! We need to pack up and leave,” she said as she began to get her things together and make sure Rodger was hooked back up to the cart.
Silvia perked a brow at Ailens comment about Tristan being responsible for the fact he had an artificial arm. Just what all had this asshole done to the people of this planet? She intended to find out and as fast as possible. He had an entire staff that hated him and was causing injury to his staff. Silvia had been sent back to Earth numerous times thanks to GTC, but it wasn’t because of her blow ups on the staff. It was because she refused to follow regulations. She knew she would have to play it a bit safer this time, as much as she hated it, unless she was able to prove that Tristan was far worse than she was. Taking a deep breath she looked at Ailen and then at Gaia. “I want this Tower,” she muttered slightly as she looked away from both of them. “Not because of wanting a Tower but because no Tower should have to put up with Tristan,” she began and then her words trailed off as a thought crossed her mind and a nearly evil grin appeared on her lips. “Save one,” she finished as she rubbed her hands together.

Knowing that the GTC wouldn’t decommission any T-1 that was capable to run a tower it was concluded in her mind that her best course of action was to for GTC to transfer him elsewhere and she could only think of one tower in the galaxy that would be a fitting place for someone like Tristan. “The X-54 Tower,” she said as she looked at Ailen. X-54 was the high security prison planet, where the worst of the worst were sent. It was a savage planet where the GTC held little control because of the strength and vile nature of its residents. A Tower Lead there was given no power and their crystal was controlled off world to ensure it couldn’t be used to ship anyone off world. It was only there to ship people to the planet. Silvia decided that was where she would get Tristan transferred to; a Criminal Planet for a Criminal Talent.

Looking back over at Ailen as he said she didn’t belong on Altenia she perked a brow and shook her head slightly. “No, you’re wrong. This is exactly where I belong,” she said before looking over to Gaia. “Gaia, please can you do me a favor. I want you to go to the Infirmary and get all records and reports you can of an injuries that have happened both in the Tower and outside for the last year. Don’t get caught, stay off the security cameras. Once you get a crystal copy of all the files, find me in my room later on today under the guise of taking care of a tension head ache that developed after my jump to this planet,” she said as the little one fixed her hair. “And of course, take some time to see the kids. I am sure they are missing you,” she said with a smile.

Ailen seemed to snap slightly and Silvia couldn’t help but chuckle as he took off his jacket and proceeded to break probably half a dozen regulations in that single move. She didn’t care; he was under her watch now and Tower Leads, in training or not, were allowed to grant special privilege to their staff. Letting him get away with the dress code change would be something GTC would have to deal with and she knew they would as long as it kept people working with her.

“I don’t think that it is,” she said to Ailen in reference to his crystal issue. “A Tower Lead can use any black crystal, we just find one to bond with to make things easier. Our productivity boosts greatly having a bonded crystal,” she said before her hand came to her mouth as she remembered something. “Once we get done, I need to make a com link to Earth,” she said. She was about to explain when the alarms went off as she elevator doors opened at the Mor. Silvias eyes narrowed as she stepped off and looked around. This couldn’t have been good.

“Hold throw, I repeat hold your throw! Our Tower Lead isn’t here to catch!” Craig screamed into the monitor. “Again, hold your damned throw!” he bellowed.

“I can’t it is past the point of no return! There is nothing I can do!” a man on the monitor screamed back. “I’m….sorry….”

“Where the hell is our T-2 paired back up?” Craig said after slamming his fist down on the counter.

“They’re out! They weren’t supposed to be on shift until tomorrow.” a tech replied quickly from his seat.

“Where the fuck is Tristan?” Craig snapped.

“I don’t know, he isn’t answering his com,” another tech answered from her com.

“Tristan is out cold,” Silvia barked as she walked over to the Tower Lead Chair and sat down. “Raise Crystal Zylon to full power, I need full aft on the horizon, half aft on the vertical, give my bursts set at 5 with a back burst at 4,” she said as she sat there. Everyone in the room froze, they didn’t know what to do, they had never seen her before. “Fucking do it or this Tower is about to go down!” Silvia snapped.
“You heard the woman! Full H & V, Burst 5, BBurst 4, let’s go people, make it happen!” Craig barked towards the crew and they went into action. The sound of the crystal generators humming through the Tower and on the screen a transport ship could be seen breaking atmosphere and headed right towards the tower. “Hold your posts damn it!” Craig yelled as he hit the final bursts. “Now woman!”

Silvias eyes glazed over as her hands were placed on the contacts for her crystals link, her hair slowly rising somewhat like it was caught in a small breeze. The transport looked like a ball of fire at this point but was slowly surrounded by a blue haze and began to slow down but it didn’t look like it would be enough to stop it before impact on the Tower. “Full back thrust now!” she said in a guttural voice, her lips barely moving as beads of sweat began to form on her brow. Craig hit the back thrusts and the ship halted not fifty feet from the Tower completely surrounded by a blue shell of telekinetic energy.

“Altenia Tower? Can you read us?” a voice crackled through the com.

“Loud and clear! Everyone alright?” Craig said quickly as he collapsed in his chair.

“A little shook up but everyone is safe. I can’t believe I am about to say this but thank Tristan for the catch.”

“It wasn’t Tristan,” a tech said as he panned the camera over to Silvia who was still stone frozen in her seat for a few seconds as she lowered the transport into dock before falling back into her chair as her eyes cleared.

"Gaia, check the crew please," Silvia whispered she took a deep breath.
Ramara

Ramara stood back slightly as she watched the older Corsair rip into Inyata and smiled inwardly. Perhaps the kid would snap out of the foolish behavior, at least for a while; she doubted it though, scolding children did little more than make them worse later on. Now, a switch might work. Turning she stepped closer to her horse as she pushed the thought from her mind and left the young pirate to Regalia. At least Inyata would have someone else to bother.

Placing a foot in the stirrup Ramara pushed up and swung herself into place in the saddle; taking a moment to situated herself comfortably. She didn't know how long it would take to find their mark so it was best to be as comfortable as possible.

Hearing the splash of water Ramara turned her head slowly to look back and let a smirk actually come to her lips. Well played paladin, well played indeed, she thought to herself but the smirk and the thought quickly passed as she heard Inyata start to speak again. Well there goes the comfortable silence, was the thought that replaced the previous.

Nudging her horse forward slowly she came up beside Ishmael and Ceceria, glancing towards the assassin out of the corner of her eyes as her horse stopped when she pulled back on the reigns. "Long time Ceceria," she said in an even tone as she sat there in the same still manner as she had in the tavern. "Glad to see those lessons paid off," she said before her eyes faced forward again. "Your G is still a little sharp," she taunted. Remara meant nothing by the comment, something she was sure Ceceria would know but she doubted that would keep the jester clad woman from making a snappy comeback.

Regalia

Regalia turned and faced the paladin as he spoke to her and arched a single brow at his request; the brow lowering slowly as he fully explained the mission to her; thinking on it for a moment. She was no baby sitter but she had helped a dear friend of hers in the past take care of an orphan that was far more trouble than she imagined Inyata could ever dream of being. Then there was the mission itself. Even with young corsair joining them she could not turn her back on a deed such as that. It went against everything she stood for.

"I'm inclined to acquiesce to your request," Regalia answered with a bow before looking over towards Inyata as she climbed up onto her black steed and smiled as she trotted it over to Inyata; finally taking a moment to properly look the young one over. I have my work cut out for me, she thought before holding her hand out to her. "Come young one, you have much to learn," she said in a kind motherly voice.
Stepping into the elevator Silvia drew a deep breath and leaned back against the wall, rubbing her temples slightly as she did. Once the doors had closed she looked over at Ailen and smiled slightly but she looked almost sad. “I am so sorry,” she said quickly before lowering her hand and shoving them into her pockets. “I hate having to talk like that to people, especially those that know their job. I had to keep up the act in front of Tristan,” she said as she reached out and touched his good arm for a second before letting it fall to her side. “Thanks for not snapping back when I was,” she said with a wink. She had not been trying to be harsh to either Ailen or Gaia or to make them feel bad but she couldn’t risk letting Tristan see any type of weakness with her and had to make her believe that she was a force to be reckoned with.

“As far as a vacation, it won’t be. It will just give me time to get as much on the ass as possible before I make a move. He needs to be gone if half of what I have heard is true and from what I have already seen I think it is. I don’t want to report it in bits and pieces either that can be white washed away a little at a time. I want to hit the GTC with a complete scandal so they have no choice but to pull him from this tower,” she said quickly, trying to explain to them what she had on her mind. “This planet deserves better than Tristan.”

“What is a vacation?” she repeated when she heard Gaias question and Ailens comment about almost forgetting what it was she nodded. “Yeah, that’s one of those things where you don’t work and just enjoy yourself. Or so I have been told,” she said as she waited for the doors to open when they reached the designated floor. As she waited she noticed that Ailen seemed to be in some type of pain and looked at his arm as he massaged his shoulder and mentioned forgetting something. Looking down she reached into a small pocket that was on her leg and after a moment pulled out small star shaped crystal. Looking over to him she rose up telekinetically so she would be on his level.

“People get hurt a lot in the mines on Earth and our towers are old, they lose power a lot. So everyone that is a talent is taught some basic things,” she said as she reached out and rested her hand along the point where his shoulder met his neck. A warm sensation would be felt and the soreness would slowly fade a bit. Not much but enough to take the edge off for now. “One of my dearest friends, Marx, has an artificial leg. This helps him, hopefully it will you,” she said as she removed her hand and lowered herself back to the ground.

She watched him with the yellow crystal but pushed any thoughts about it aside, it was sad he couldn’t use a black crystal. He would be far better a Tower Lead for this planet than Tristan was from what she had seen. Sadly that wasn’t her choice. Even if she got rid of Tristan, there were no yellow Crystals large enough to power a throw and catch. Hearing about her things she nodded and leaned back against the elevator waiting.

“I expect I will meet a lot of people that will throw me for a loop out here. I guess I will have to wait and see. If he gives you the creeps I better brace myself,” she said before looking over to Gaia and smiled. “Want a lift?” she asked as she patted her shoulder. “As far as that little shit goes I figure any paper work or materials you have on the man are going to make me livid and want to just throw him out the top window of the tower myself. Hope I can keep it together so I don’t. Last thing I need is to be tossed out after him by GTC,” she said as she stepped out of the Elevator and waited for Ailen to lead the way.
Okay posted. Ailen and Gaia may post. Fatal, you are now in free post time. Feel free to post to deliver goods, interacting with the Brax'Na - just no interactions with their leader as of yet.
Silvia smiled towards Srath and returned the slight nod of head. “Srath, safe journey,” she said before following Ailen to the elevator and waiting for Gaia to join them. Once Gaia did Silvia stepped into the elevator and waited for Ailen to lead the way to Tristans quarters. Taking a deep breath, she prepared herself. Keeping quiet for now and stepping quickly off the lift as they reached Tristans floor. Each T-1 was assigned their own floor and it was all theirs. T-1 were far too valuable to the GTC to not give them as many perks as possible. This was one of them. As they came up to the door to his quarters Silvia held up at hand for them to stop as she stepped closer to the door and listened, placing a finger to her lips as she looked over towards the two in a gesture for them to be quiet.

She listened at the door and was surprised she could hear his voice. The walls were thick, to give such a rank privacy and yet the sounds of his grating voice came through. “Well, this will be interesting. Stay behind me,” she said as she pressed the access button and the doors slid open. As she stepped inside a mug of some hot beverage came flying towards her head. It stopped right before it reached her, changed course and went flying straight back towards Tristan. It whizzed by his head and crashed into the wall behind him. Silvia had not missed her mark, she had got his attention. Tristan spun around and glared at her.

“Who the hell!” he snapped before freezing in his place and crossing his arms over his chest. “Oh, you,” he growled. “You ever do that again and I will have you tossed off world!”

“Throw another latte at my head and next time I won’t miss,” she spat as she stepped closer.

“You little wench! How dare you talk to me in such in a manner! This is my tower!” he yelled at her.

“Me?!? How dare you act like this when you run a fucking tower! A Tower Lead should have better fucking manners Tristan!”

“You’re one to talk, I’ve heard of your outbursts Silvia! What’s your excuse to go off on people!?! Tell me that you pathetic excuse for a Talent.”

“I’m still in training. What’s your excuse you warthog faced buffoon!” she hissed as her eyes narrowed.

“You little…That’s it, get out of my tower and off my planet right now! Ailen, remove her from my sight!” Tristan commanded. Even though his skin was blue in hue, the red of anger was showing and he was looking to turn purple as his fists clenched. Silvia just smirked as she waved a finger in the air towards him.

“You can’t remove me you dolt. I have yet to break any GTC regulations. You’re stuck with me,” she said as she laughed slightly. This only angered Tristan even more. “And actually, until Ailen hands over my papers I have not been transferred. It means I am in limbo and am under no Tower Lead. As a T-1 that puts us on even grounds in the eyes of the GTC,” she laughed before walking over to Ailen and taking back her transfer papers; sticking into her pocket.

“Give me those!” Tristan demanded as he stepped closer to her. Silvia smirked and took a step towards him and he stopped. “Now!”

“I don’t think so. You see my transfer clearly states that I was to be transferred off Earth at a certain time and to arrive here at a certain time. But it does not state when I am supposed to start training and I have some vacation time built up,” she snarled and watched the anger grow in Tristans eyes to near lunatic proportions. “Yes, that’s it. I need a vacation. Ailen, please see that my things are taken to my room. I think it would be good for me to vacation here a while before I start. That’s a direct order. You know, meet the people, learn the lay of the tower, get out and meet the locals. Yes, that seems like a fine idea,” she said in a jovial voice she knew would just send the man into a rage and she was right. He began screaming in multiple languages, cussing her out in each of them as he stormed around the room like a spoiled brat turning over furniture.

“And as you know, when any T-1 of Tower Lead Position gives security an order on a planet they are assigned to, you must follow it before following any other order from another T-1. So, for now Ailen, you report to me, not Tristan. Understood?” she said as she turned and winked at Ailen and Gaia. “That goes for Gaia as well. She is to be transferred to be my personal Empath. To help me relax during my extended vacation,” Silvia followed up with.

“How dare you! You can’t!” Tristan spat as he threw a vase at the wall, shattering it.

“Oh yes I can, it is clearly stated in the GTC regulations. And as you know, that is all they care about,” she said as she looked at him and spun around on her heals to make her way out. “Good day,” she chuckled.

Tristan had had it and his eyes glazed over as he attempted to attack Silvias mind with a barrage of telepathic attacks meant to bring her to her knees. Silvia stopped in her place but she did not falter. Instead she stood there as her facial expression went blank, tilting her head to one side and then the other; the sound of her neck popping echoing through the now silent room. Turning slowly she looked at him and suddenly he flew back against the wall and landed in a crumpled heap on the ground.

“Regulation A-39867, A T-1 is never to use their abilities to attack another T-1. Abilities are only to be used in defense,” she said as she walked over to him and leaned down to look him in the face before she spat on him. “Ailen, write him up and bring me the paper work,” she said as she left the room. Waiting for Ailen and Gaia to join her and the doors to close before she said anything else. “That was step one.”
