Tyget Crakehall - Pyke

Tyget sat in the rookery of Pyke, he was only still there because he was expecting Lord Stark soon  enough. And now he glared at the letter in his hands, knowing he had made SEVERAL serious mistakes. The letter was From Kevan in Kings Landing, no doubt having been smuggled out to his army outside the gates, and it was not good news. Garland Tyrell had made his move, and according to reports had almost died at the hands of Lord Lorch, this was the only good news in the entirety of the letter. Lorch was subsequently slain by Wilas Tyrell, meaning that either his brother was now in charge or no one was. They had yet to enter the city, though they were succesfully holding outside the walls, but that hardly mattered anymore. The Dornish were right, Elise was right. Aerys Targaryen was alive and had returned, and had declared Tyget a traitor to the crown, unsurprising. He would need to act quickly, VERY quickly now. He needed to appease Aerys, and so he looked to the maester of Pyke, "I need ink and parchment maester, quickly.", the maester complied and retrieved parchment, quill and ink. Tyget set to writng his letters.
                                                                                            
The first letter he wrote to his men. The letter was very simple, pull back. Consolidate back at the westerlands at Casterly Rock. Immediately.

The next was by far of the greatest importance, and Tyget took a deep breath before beginning what may have been the most important letter of his life.

To King Aerys Targaryen, third of his name, King of the Andals, the Rhoynar and the First men, Protector of the realm, and Lord of the Seven Kingdoms,

Your Grace, I write to you with a sense of the utmost urgency. At the news of your safe return, I rejoice for it means war may be avoided, peace restored and no more loss of innocent lives. I, being a loyal servant of the realm, am more than happy to bend the knee to you your Grace. However, I am told that I have been declared a traitor to the realm, and unjustly so. It may seem as though I sought the throne for myself, my enemies have certainly twisted my intentions to appear as thus, but I assure you my King these are vile lies and unfounded accusations. I admit, perhaps taking the title of King was brash, but it was only to stop the war that would inevitably have risen. Had I, Lord Paramount of Casterly Rock and Warden of the west, had not thrown my considerable might behind a claim any number of houses would have claimed it. The Seven Kingdoms would have been dragged into a terrible war of succesion, the likes of which we have never seen. As you can tell, I did nothing to stop my Great nieces, your cousins, Rhaenyra and Baela Targaryen from entering the city and making they're far stronger claim. I also, like Dorne, and Princess Eleina, believed you yet lived. I wished to keep usurpers from your throne, to have it prepared for you upon your return. As you have returned, and now sit in your rightful seat, I shall withdraw my paltry claim, as well as my army. I shall personally sail to Kings Landing to confront these terrible accusations, as soon as I am able. And with me, I bring the Iron Islands. The Kingdom that has so long claimed independece from the Seven Kingdoms has been returned to the fold by my hand, the Kraken Fleet is no more, and the traitor and usurper Valorion Greyjoy is dead, executed for his treason. Once the Warden of the North has made certain the Islands will not fall again, I shall sail for Kings Landing, in no greater time than two fortnights.

The next letter was to his brother... it was far more... interesting than the others.

Something incredible has happened brother, it is... I can hardly even explain it! At Pyke, we crushed the Kraken fleet as I predicted we would, and I personally lead my men through the Breach. Before this however... I died. Whilst fighting Lord Drumm, he impaled me through the guts and out my back, and I died brother... I know I did. I flet all the warmth of the world leave my body, and darknees and a lack of all feeling envelope me... nothingness. Then I saw it, a great flame, it awoke me! My eyes opening, my wounds seemingly burned shut! I have heard of resurection... but there was aleays a Red Priest, always a man of the Red cloth! I was alone! No red preist for hundreds of miles! But I came back! And as I stood brother... I heard it. Like, a thousand voices speaking all at once, a roaring in my ears... and I heard what he said! It was him! He spoke, 'Rise, Son of Azor Ahai, and burn all who dare challenge you!', such as I have never heard before! What does it mean brother? Son of Azor Ahai? We need to speak soon.

Tyget

The last was to Stark, a short letter, simply informing him Pyke had fallen to him, and the Kraken fleet was no more. It told him to sail for Pyke with due haste, for they must choose its new lords, and Tyget must give him Widow's Wail

He layed the quill down, giving the letters to the maester and telling him where they must be sent. He sighed then, walking to the Lord of Pyke's chamber's, where he had taken up temporary residence. He looked out at his fleet, they had lost less than 20 ships, and even captured 3 Itonborn Longboats. The Game had changed, and now Tyget had to do damage control, and he had to do it fast.
