Name: Genoveve Boudicca
Age:19
Short history: Genoveve is unlike many witches, she was not born in a castle, or to a healer or even near civilization at all. She is however, from a long line of witched. The Boudicca clan shunned the less traditional movement of witch culture long ago, declaring they would remain isolated, hermetic, and shamanistic as witches were 'meant to be'. To this end, every Boudicca witch has remained in nature, using and communing with the malign spirits and spectre of the forest. Each mother raises her daughter to be a witch, carefully grooming and preparing them for the final step they must go through, the ritualistic sacrifice of their mother to gain her power.
Genoveve was raised this way, but her mother became frustrated with her. Not because she was not talented or determined, it was that she was hopelessly naive. She tried to garden her daughter, in order to keep the malign spirits the family dealt with from tricking her, and was nearly successful. Mere weeks before the ritual was to take place, Genoveve was contacted by a new and unknown spirit. It told her that the ritual could be improved, and that if done her war Genoveve and her mother could live.
Genoveve was ecstatic, but the spirit warned her against telling her mother. It taught her how the ritual should be changed, so Genoveve made her adjustments. As the ritual commenced, Genoveve carried out the changes as her mother protested, before her soul was opened. All at once many of the evil spectres drawn by the dark ritual rushed in... but only the one who tricked Genoveve could gain a footbold. In the end, her mother was dead but Genoveve remained... with quite a few new companions.
The first spirit, now calling itself Yeris, urged her to seek out a coven, find new family... and attain her rightful place at its head.
Type of man:
"W-well... he should be kind and make me happy an-NO! Our companion must above all be submissive, beholden only to us man or woman, if they are our devoted slave and doting servant that is most important...Oh... y-yes I suppose that is what I uhm... most desire..."Special power-
Spectral possesion: Genoveve is able to dispense some of the malign spirits within her as servants. They can easily posses animals, though when they leave the shock of the spectre splitting from the animal always kills it. Particularly weak minded and foolish humans can be possessed for a time, but the stronger a will the less time the spirit can remain and the less effect it has. On most hunters the spirit is only truly able to fool the hunter, make them doubt themselves and make mistakes. It is among to a deep and loud depression and anxiety in this way. It also causes delusions in the unprepared and unguarded, causing hallucinations and terror.
Family members- all deceased
Familiar- An owl that has been possessed by the third strongest spirit in Genoveve (right behind Genoveve herself) named Eric
Other- The spirits have had 2 effects that can be seen on the young woman for unknown reasons. She is extremely tall, being 6'3. Also, her tounge is massive and rounded, reaching about 6 inches long from her lips to its tip when she is really trying. It is tough and rough compared to regular tounges and discolored, an almost glowing purple color. She is able to hold it in her mouth however, making it quite sure img at first sight.
Also, occasionally Yeris talks through Genoveve and controls her actions, ordinarily referring to itself as 'we' but is prone to boasting in which it refers to itself as Yeris.
