I'm just some crazy reclusive girl. If you really want to know more about me, just ask. ^.~

Still here, but only been skimming the posts since my character seems a bit irrelevant.
I didn't know what I had expected, but talking to the mirror was a complete failure. perhaps that wasn't such a bad thing.

I responded to Vivian's text, telling her that I was feeling quite nervous before recounting the day's events: I mentioned the girls' attempt to attack me, how they had been found injured later and sent to the hospital, and how Frank had mentioned the necklace. Once the message had been sent, I crept back to my room, carefully avoiding an encounter with Frank. He would have questions - questions I couldn't answer even if I wanted to.

Once I had closed my bedroom door behind me, I breathed out a sigh of relief. However, the feeling was quickly overwhelmed by anxiety as I mulled over my situation. The necklace seemed firmly out of my reach, at least for the time. Perhaps I could hire a private investigator, someone to find out who purchased the necklace, and have him put me in contact with its new owners. For the right price, they could surely be persuaded to part with it. The plan was a long shot, but it was my only lead.
So the bitches were alive.

That was probably for the best. At least this way there would be no need for the police to become involved. If i was lucky, the three of them would need to spend a nice, long, time in the hospital, and hopefully Jamie wasn't the only one who would need mental treatment.

But my necklace had been sold. I needed to do something about that - but what?

My idea was a ridiculous one, but I decided to try it all the same.

I went into the nearest bathroom and closed the door. I wasn't brave enough to try my plan in the dark, so I turned on the light before standing in front of the mirror.

"I don't know if you can hear me," I whispered, "But if you're in there, please... bring my necklace back to me!"

If anyone caught me doing this, I would be headed to a mental ward, too.
I allowed my guards to guide me back to my room; I was too focused on my phone call to do anything else.

"You found a necklace a little while back," I said, speaking quickly. "One that had been stolen from a pawn shop - right? Well, it's mine. Someone stole it from my house during a break-in, and apparently they decided to sell it to the shop. It's a precious family heirloom, so I implore you, return it to me. I will pay you more than enough to compensate for the auction you were going to have, so please - I need it!"

I arrived in my room, sat on my bed. If these people couldn't help me, I didn't know what I was going to do!
What was going on?

Amanda told me to stay back, and after what I had just seen, I was in no mood to disobey her. I moved to the back of the room, the farthest point from any of its doors, trembling. Could this be related to what Frank had just said, his mention of the necklace? Or had his daughters' corpses been found? Whatever it was, I wanted nothing to do with it. Perhaps I shouldn't have gotten rid of that necklace in the first place. I needed to get it back, before Frank could find it! Whatever he was planning, it couldn't be good - but how could I get to it?

I already knew that the police in the area of the pawn shop had gotten hold of it. I needed to call them, make arrangements before Frank could. My knowledge was my only advantage!

I pulled out my phone, and after a quick search, I had the telephone number of the police station. I dialed it, desperately hopping for an answer.
"Um, one moment," I said, my voice shaking. "Just let me get dressed."

It was the necklace. it had to be. What I had just seen was no nightmare, no delusion - it has really happened. The girls were dead, all three of them. The only question was where their bodies would be found. It was imperative that I do nothing suspicious; if I did, I would be blamed for certain. That meant going to dinner whether I felt like it or not.

They had tried to burn me, so they got what they deserved. I didn't care how much pain they had gone through; I hated them, all three of them. This was for the best. Perhaps now Frank would see, understand that it wasn't safe for him here. As long as he left, I really didn't care whether he got to survive or not. All I wanted was some semblance of peace to return to my life.

By the time I arrived at dinner, I had gained some weak control over the shaking of my body. I sat down, took a few sluggish bites of the food that was laid before me, not bothering to greet anyone at the table. I didn't trust my voice to work properly even if I tried to communicate. I needed to get in touch with Vivian, but I couldn't leave any trace of the conversation in case the police came looking for the girls.

I couldn't let these deaths continue, but... they had saved me from something far worse. Would they save me from the police, too, if they tried to arrest me?
Vivian's idea had been a good one.

Time to go on a spending spree!

I booted up my computer, ready to order a wide array of items for myself. It didn't take me long to find a website that sold lots of expensive clothing. By the time I had finished with that website, I had purchased over $4000 in dresses, shoes, jewelry, and all sorts of other accessories - the works! But this was only the beginning for me - there was so much more I was going to buy!

Pokemon had been a craze when I was a child, but my kidnapping had cut the fun short for me. It was time to rectify that! Before I knew it, I had bought a full set of the oldest, most valuable cards in existence. One of them cost $9001 - but who cared? I was rich!

eBay was my next stop. I found a haunted painting selling for a few thousand dollars - couldn't be any worse than that necklace! besides, it would make a great gift for the brats; with luck, maybe the haunting was real. Within the minute, it was mine. After spending a few hours buying even more extravagant and utterly pointless merchandise, I decided I had finally had enough. When Frank realized what I had done, he was going to go nuts!
"You better be careful, too!" I said to Vivian, helping her choose a few outfits. "And I'm not cutting my hair. I like it nice and long, the way it is now!" Of course, Vivian was unlikely to find a smile on my face when she returned unless something drastic happened, such as Frank dying in a freak accident on the road. I didn't say that, though - there was no need to dampen Vivian's mood right before she went on a trip, and I was still quite worried about her.

"If anything seems dangerous to you - anything at all - come back home," I said, "I couldn't stand it if anything happened to you, and I'm becoming more paranoid by the day, to be honest..."
It's really bright and cramped in here... =*(
I frowned when Amanda mentioned that she needed Vivian to run some errands. My niece had been attacked only a few days ago; I didn't want to risk anything bad happening to her. "If Vivian needs to leave the house to run this errands, make sure one of the guards accompanies her," I said, "Frank's spawn might decide to take revenge against her. We must be careful to prevent that from happening." I placed my hand on top of Vivian's, giving her a reassuring smile. I was not going to let anyone hurt her!
