Name: Sha'Yirr
Alias/Nicknames: Her brother calls her Sha-sha, but outside the family, none really. :P
Race: Chimera cat - Underdark subspecies. Build is something between a saber-toothed cave lion and a snow leopard. Extra thick coat, mostly white with leopard markings in faint blue-gray. Saber canines jut from a slightly elongated jaw built for crushing bone as well as piercing/slicing, allowing this species to include armored creatures in their diet. The two iconic goat-like horns on the crown of the head are rather small for this subspecies, even more so in females. Digits on front paws are dexterous enough to be used like raccoon hands while the ankles on the rear legs are easily twistable to aid in climbing tough terrain. Tail is thickly furred and nearly doubles the length of this cat. Eyes are something between light blue and purple with keen infrared dark vision afforded to most apex predators living in the dark bowels of the Everdark. Unlike aboveground variations of the Chimera cat, this one's large claws do actually retract. Also, like the snow leopard, the pads of the feet are densely furred for added silencing of foot steps and aid in crossing drifts of pillowy sediments other creatures might sink in. While this species is sentient and can speak, its wild form is a constant. Also unlike above-ground chimera cats, this one lacks the venomous barb in the tail tip. It is, however, still toxic for most creatures to consume. Socially, as a sentient race, there culture is one of hermitic druidry. They are rarely seen, and when they do meet with others, it's usually with other druidic types to exchange information during observed nature-attuned holidays.

Gender: ♂ or ♀. Female
Background: Sha'yirr is the younger of only two cubs surviving to adulthood in her mother's short life. Her elder brother Caerntak normally lives closer to the surface and journeys down to exchange information with her. He was the one to warn her of the impending Raid, affording them both time to hide. Since then, he has left to journey above ground in search of furious thirst for retribution. With hunting growing difficult, Sha'yirr has been forced to go places she normally avoids and interact with others out-of-season in order to glean new information on what was lost and what survived the Raid.

Personality: Highly wary of others and normally anti-social, she is one of few words. Though, even when she does speak, she does so as one
dealing with a bit of a language barrier as her kind are normally rarely ever seen by others. While she is willing to trade items of value to others that she has found or harvested along the way for food in lean times, she abhors mind games and will normally drop all association with an individual who dares to strait out lie to her. She respects those with skill in hunting and defense.

Appearance: This concept art is of a male of the species and resembles this character's absent elder brother Caerntak. Sha'yirr, as a female, has short nub horns and is slightly leaner in build.

Skills:
Combat Skill: Crushing Bite
Non-Combat Skill: Agile-footed

Possessions: Has a shoulder tote made by a dark dwarf that holds things she finds worth trading (usually animal parts, small rocks, or herbs for alchemists) with trusted individuals, but only wears it when necessary.
Bah! Ignore this. I posted my sheet in the wrong place.
Ah yes! Sorry, I got caught up in other things for a bit. I will try to get at least a barebones working charsheet done at some point today.
I am definitely interested in this idea. It's a unique perspective, and I'm all about new ways of looking at situations. It might take me a bit to formulate a new character to fit within it, but I'm definitely game.
Okay, so as the subject line states, I’m an older player looking for some new stories to play a part in. I can do both 1x1 or small group. I’m fine with romance, adore romantic fluff actually, but not so into smut anymore. I go out of my way at times to insert random or not so random comedy into stories I’m playing in. Often at the expense of my own character.

I also don’t care how well you can spell or use grammar as long as I can understand what you are posting. Playing with folks with disabilities over the years has taught me to be extremely tolerant toward such things. Post at your own pace and length. I’ll let you know if I need something more, but I’m usually pretty easygoing with post length too, even though I myself tend to be a bit descriptively wordy.

I will admit I am far better at world-building than plot-building, so I’d prefer to partner with folks who are better at plot-building than I am. I DO however, tend to creatively color outside the lines with my characters. Oddball characters are so much more fun to work with than mainstream vanilla ones. The quirks and the challenges those quirks present are a large part of their charm.

Areas of Interest

*Fantasy Medieval Asia [Japanese or Chinese] - One rule here, no real-world historical figures anywhere in these type RPs. That said, on to the interests. On the Japanese side, I’m more into Inuyasha style stuff than Avatar or Naruto. Mystical Japan and samurai style stuff are my jam. On the Chinese side, I really loved the worlds of Chinese fantasy dramas like Twelve Miles of Peach Blossoms and Untamed/Mo Dao Zu Shi/Founder of Diabolism. Paranormal/fantasy mystery stories are fun, and I really have not had enough of a chance to mess around with Asian elements like these. I will however point out that the language I studied in my youth was Japanese (though I have grown extremely rusty with it), not Chinese, so if I play with something involving Chinese elements.. Google will get used. :P

---------------------------------------------------------
*Star Wars - I’m good with anything in Old Republic Era and post ROTJ. I do not, however accept the Disney Eps 7,8,9 as cannon. I was born when ROTJ came out, grew up to the classic trilogy on the tv at Christmas, and the books got me through grade school in the 80s and 90s. I do play SWTOR and know my way around the lore up to the end of the Eternal Throne saga if that is helpful.

I do have one plot idea I got from a dream that I might be willing to explore. Essentially a mishandled ancient force-attuned artifact gets mishandled and explodes. The kicker is that a handful of people (in my dream it was some orphaned street kids) that were near the explosion ended up becoming force-sensitive when they previously were not. Which side of the force they leaned toward depended on their own personalities.

There was also a character in that dream that refused to bow to either “side” of the Force and worked as a mercenary on the razors edge between the two. He refused to get involved in “cult politics” of either faction. Not sure if I could play this one or not, and the story such a character idea gets used in is open ended to me as well. Its just another outside-the-box concept that struck me as interesting.

I’m also cool with playing standard Refugee, Slice-Of-SpaceLife, Resistance, Star Wars whatever stories just as long as I don’t need to play anything darker than anti-hero. I suck at playing outright villainy.

-----------------------------------------------------
*Fantasy Medieval, Steampunk, or Modern - Due to my age, I’m not that into a lot of the fandoms I see across the interest checks. I’m looking for something more generic with room for creative fun. If there’s magic and room to be quirky, I’m likely interested regardless of the time period.

*Tabletop - I have PHBs for D&D 5e and Pathfinder 2e. I would LOVE to find a group as the ones I've been in previously kept falling apart before we got anywhere. I really liked the lore I read about in the PF 2e books. Except for the Elves looking like Roswell aliens. Sorry just no. Elves should look like Tolkien elves at the very least. *rolls eyes* If you do have something for me, expect me to do some fumbling to catch up with the rules as it's been a while for me outside of casual D&D games with my husband.
Renni walked in cautiously dressed in her patchwork ragged clothes and navy collar. She looks like a unicorn had explosive diarrhea on her between her purple hair, green eyes, caramel skin, and clothes with practically every color in the various pieces of fabric sewn together.

"Umm, I'm here about the magic job?"

The bagging of a club somewhere upstairs startled her and suddenly... she was an alpaca. The alpaca groaned as she stood there in humanoid clothes. 'At least I'm not a naked mole rat this time,' she thought to herself. She looked to the strange mage and nodded her head while tapping a hoof. As if the only thing was wrong with this picture is that she can no longer speak.
Name: Renni

Hair: Purple, long and a bit wild

Build: 5'5 and slim

This sounds totally up my alley right now. Quirky and open to screwball characters. Let me fo throw someone new together.
