Aoba wasn't necessarily depressed by the news, just overwhelmed. To have so much thrown onto him at once after a having a practically care free life would do that to an angel. That didn't mean he still wasn't a sad angel. He hadn't been paying attention when he heard Kuro shifting off the couch. Instead, he treated his head down, trying to take everything step by step and process by process. His head lifted a little to see Kuro's figure at his side. That would explain the light touch to his wings. He didn't think the priest would randomly go touching his wings, but if he did, Aoba doubted he would have minded too much about it.

There was the familiar sensation when Kuro grabbed him gently, and instantly he knew what would happen next. When the kiss was placed, Aoba couldn't help but smile and nod. They share a moment and the priest watchs with a keen eye. Kuro was definitely much different from the other demons he had encounteted. Never had he seen something as intriguing as it was. Even though it was probably- no it was wrong for an angel and demon to be together, he couldn't help but wonder how far it would go. Would the two last? Aoba was obviously an innocent angel and he seemed oblivious to Kuro's devotion. And then there was Kuro who didn't see past his own surface affection, but that was probably due to his demonic nature as well. 'This is one messy relatjonship.'

"Sorry." Aoba mumbled and nodded. "I trust you." Of course, Aoba didn't realize putting his faith into a demon only would start the process of darkening his wings, let alone the demon charm he was wearing. It wasn't a dramatic change, but for the others it might have been easy to spot. The priest's was the first to notice, due to being able to see it in the light. He started to say something, but immediately silenced, unsure of how Aoba would react. He was pretty sensitive,  and he did remember the angel talking about his wings the day before. The priest once again looked over at Kuro, but his nose was in the book. Fit now, he decided to observe the two.

"Shouldn't I be the one reading that?" Aoba said with a soft smile before standing up straight.
"Thanks Captain and congrats on your potential new scar. That's a trophy you know, a story to tell and all that, a moment when you defied death be proud of it. Still I'll admit I'm a little impressed Captain, I've seen many people take a bullet and had the pleasure of having a few hit me, you're taking it pretty well I've seen grown men pass out from it tears in their eyes. If you weren't the Captain and a little older I'd take a shot at you, no pun intended of course and not counting when I've already done it. The literal shot not the other kind of shot."

Runali looked over at her shoulder and gave a small smirk. "Hm, thanks. I think." She lifted her head proudly at his compliment. "Well, I'm a captain. What would I look like if I couldn't take a single bullet- to the shoulder at that? A bad captain, that's what I'd be. Besides, you all are older than me. I have to be able to hold my own." Then Luro started rambling about. . . something that made her tilt her head a little in confusion. "Um. . . Sure?" She shrugged, and complied to Nolan's wishes as he patched her up. A few times, she did flinch in pain, but for the most part, she stayed fairly silent through the procedure. She let him baby her, even with the ruffling of her hair. "I already said I was fine. But I do appreciate it Nolan. Thank you. And almost instantly, he was off to do what he loved to. At the mention of food, her stomach did growl a little. They had just beaten down a bunch of rioting pirates, it wouldn't be shocking if her crew wanted a break. There was not much they had to do at the moment accept set sail to the next island. And with the nice day, and the gentle breeze, it should have been smooth sailing.

It wasn't long after that when Nolan returned with food for everyone. "Awesome. Thanks." Runali got comfortable on the main deck, near the wheel, there she could see everyone lounging and enjoying themselves. She looked out at the vast sea and then sighed. Before they left, and before they had Runa had gotten them into trouble, she and Carmen had a 'small talk'.

"I need to talk to you captain."

"Yeah? What is it?" Runa could tell by the solem look that it wouldn't be good news.

"Look, I've been thinking. I don't think I'm cut out to be a pirate. At least not with you guys. I don't belong here."

"Well. It's only been a week or so. You really want to just go?" Carmen nodded and then with a soft sigh, Runali saluted. "I hope your travels are safe. And good luck to you."

They exchanged a handshake, and like that Carmen decided to find a ship to go back home.

Runali had told her crew, but it was also around the time they started to get attacked. So, they were aware, but it wasn't the first thing on their mind at the time. It was fair enough that no one had much of a strong bond with each other anyway, so the tough guys in her new crew probably shrugged it off. Hearing the music, Runali turned to the main deck and smiled, setting her now empty plate to the side. Well, she still had this faithful crew by her side so, she decided that things would be fine. She watched as they enjoyed themselves and then looked into her pocket and pulled out the sliced eyepatch. "Oh right."

While they were relaxing, Runa jumped down and walked to the Captain's Quarters to see what she could do with it. However, in her short walk, she noticed Kai busying himself. "Kai, you do know you're allowed to relax and eat? Heh, Nolan's food is great." She smiled slightly. "You've accomplished a win- grant it, it was probably an easy win for you, but it was still a victory for the StarDusk pirates." She leaned against the door she was about to go through. "We're a new batch of pirates, there's not much we could do as of yet- not counting the little riot." She didn't think she had gotten too far in persuading him, so she set of to do her original task. "And if you'll excuse me."
When she slipped off to her room, she scavenged through to find another eyepatch. Instead, she was left with sewing it back up. It wasn't a problem though, she ended up just creating a 'X' design across it. It didn't take too long, and when she got back everyone was still relaxing. Great. No one had the urge to kill each other. Runali looked at the sky as the day grew dim and he sun began to set. It was a nice little sight, but she had taken a seat on the ledge away from the wheel of the ship, in order to look down at the crew. No she didn't do it because she was short. . . "Tch, I don't know how I teamed up with a bunch of guys like you. Whatever you guys expected, I hope I don't disappoint." She laughed lightly and lazily laid on her back across the ledge, much like a cat would balance on a beam when they were asleep.

Not much could go on while they were sailing the seas as the night grew. . . Which was ultimately a lie considering the dangers of other pirates, the navy, and sea monsters. And speaking of the dangers of the sea, she remembered the story- and the other reason she had set sail. With an whistle to cease their chatter, Runa sat up looked down at the crew and spoke. "You've all heard of the Black Compass right? It's the compass that can lead you to the treasure fit for the gods. It's rumored that the Compass is frozen in the icebergs of the Falklands. That's where we are headed. To the north and to the treasure that will lead to more treasure. Any complaints? Any other things you've heard about this treasure?"
Where's the party?

Food and Ships.
Seems legit.
And all these videos. Haha.
When Seishu stumbled, Enasi was there to catch him. He looked up at Seishu, his eyes widening a little as they stood so close together. The light kiss made him smile. His heart fluttered lightly, making him sigh almost cutely. He realized his slight 'slip up' and he quickly sank into the water. Glancing around, he noticed that everyone's focus was elsewhere, so in relief he sighed and swam over to see why Rasha was announcing them. 'What in the world does he think he's doing? It seemed as though there was some sort of competition going on... And the guardians were the competitors. "Defend my title?" His eyebrow raised when he learned he was defending his. . . Minion's interests?

He didn't like the sound of it. Competitions were one thing, but having to compete for his own minions seemed like a. . .not so good idea. He sunk lower in the pool as the three minions began announcing rules and regulations of this competition. Where had this sudden competition come from, and why? They seemed so excited about it though, so he decided that maybe it wouldn't hurt to at least comply. But his competitiveness wasn't up to par like Seishu. He could already sense the excitement coming off his counterpart and only sighed. Crios and Harper gave each other slightly nervous looks, but stayed silent amd continued to watch.

The sudden soft breath against his ear, made him start to sink lower, but he kept his calm and listened.  Instead of something teasing being whispered it was. . . A threat? It appeared that was enough to rile up the dream guardian into actually sitting back up and whirling to face Seishu. "You wish." He rolled his eyes and then began to swim towards the center of the pool. There was a slight spark of 'fire' in his eyes as he floated and raised an eyebrow at Seishu and the three minions. "I guess I'll go first then." And with a sigh, he held his breath and went under water.

The interest grew as the minions noticed the sudden competitive spirit of their guardian. "Things have gottene more interesting." Crios said as he leaned forward. Harper too was vexed in the show, having never seen it at all. Even though Crios had seen it, he was more interested now that both guardians were at good health and both wanted to win. The Nightmare minions were right though. The mere mention of a competition had Seishu focused and riled up. He wondered what he whispered to Enasi, and then wondered if Harper's radar ears had heard. But before he could ask, Enasi slipped under water. "And it begins."

The guardian remembered to use both physical skill, and his energies this time. To begin with, he displayed his physical talent, doing twists and turns throughout the water, gracefully. It was displayed like natural movement. He showed his gracefulness, and then how limber he could be with a few simple loops and spins. And then, his energy began to snake up his body, to his arms. With a wave, Enasi watched as a bird was created out of the energy. It spread its wings, and Enasi continued swimming around. He decided to watch as the bird fly up to the surface and high into the air, only to take a spiraling nosedive downward. Enasi calmly waited under water and as soon the bird touched the water, on impact, it became mere ribbons of energy circling him. The spiraling effect made him spin in place, until finally,  he swam upwards  and the ribbons of energy disappeared at his feet.

He removed hair out of his face and then smiled with a nod. Enasi laughed as they cheered for his performance and then swam off to the edge of the pool, opposite of Harper and Crios. "Wow, I've never seen anything like it." Harper spoke in awe, now even more so interested in the later performances. 'Lord Enasi should really do things like this more often, it would entertain many. Besides, he never displays his skills like this.'

"Well, they've only just begun. I'm sure the tricks will get more intricate. Heh, don't get too excited just yet Hops."
Grothnor~ You can go ahead and name the islands of you want. I don't mind. It'll save me some time. *thumbs up* Just run them by me, or in the IC I'll have Runa ask what the next island is or something.

Ha, Fox it's okay, I don't have a favorite real pirate. I started this because. . . One Piece, mixed with Voltaire, mixed with some weird inspiration to write... And you all fell into this trap. Good luck.
The food. T~T *grabs at screen*
Fox why...
