No, the atomic force of the thread would hold it together. The idea of the threads is that being so thin, in fact, allows it to bond the molecules on an atomic level, which means the atomic force of the nucleus would hold it all together, a far stronger force than the usual molecular force.

can you support that? link to source?
The other point was that there wasn't really anything holding the net in place. If I run at full speed at a bedsheet suspended from a clothesline the question isn't if I run in with enough force to rip trough it, won't happen.I'll just take the thing with me wont I?
holy shit I have to read 8 pages! I'll post something when I've worked my way trough this pile of forum.
Instead of going to bed Cedric left the building and snuck out trough the shadows. He had changed his mind, and decided to take matters into his own hands. He subtlety left the town and went to the abandoned mines. To his surprise he found no traces of vampires investigating the place. He carefully entered the depleted caves and turned on the light in his buckler, shining the way ahead. With that he disappeared into the darkness. Great plans on his mind.

Jerid had listened for a while, then walked over to the arguing group and listened some more.
After quite some time he finally decided to bud in.
"Calm down people. Think about this. Why would a government institution use inmates as soldiers? They are unreliable, unstable and prone to attempt escape. And the public would never approve. It's because they can use you for illegal missions. Projects that will never see the light of day, these require soldiers with no rights and no chance to blow the whistle. They want pawns they can use and throw away. And if you happen to die in mission, just means the state have one less mouth to feed. We are cheap, dangerous and most importantly: expendable."

There ya go.
"What is mine is his, and what is his is guarded with jealousy and avenged with wrath. Ryuuk shines his grace upon this house. "
With his new home locked and blessed Rothe took a stroll over the island. up the hills and trough the forest he gazed over the fields and stared trough the forest. In the distance he heard what he had been looking for uphill, the splash and gurgle of water. A short distance further he found a fresh rainwater creek coming down from the mountain. He stared at it for a while, calculating and planning. He took a sturdy stick from a tree and started to draw lines from the creek to the fields. He drew a large cross on a few small hills and a few long lines back on his way to the village. Completely absorbed in his plans and markings he walked trough the fields in a pattern that wouldn't make much sense to the passer by. All the while smiling and humming an enchanting tune.
Dang, love what you did giving the rifle to Axel.
But can you explain the net weapon?
How does it cut? as I understood it he threw 2 orbs on the ground and one in the air and Dresden ran into the net suspended between them?
I'm sceptical as how that would harm him. Constrict him sure, but he really shouldn't be hurt too badly. The only force that keeps the net straight is the momentum of a small metal orb right? And silicon doesn't really cut. Not trying to be difficult or anything hehe, I get that 'infinitely sharp' is meant as a figure of speech.
Ural is still boss.
pfff. that's a wall if i ever saw one. I'mma read it rite nao!
Hello all, back from my weekend of being a wizard and stuff. I had fun.

I just read the threat so I'm back on track and I'll post something soon. I'm going to assume there's wildlife and trees and stuff.
Rothe is going for a walk in the woods I think.

I read some stuff in Wikipedia, and believe it or not. Succubus are minor sirens...

Well they are both the seductive creature of their original mythologies. Succubi and their male counterpart Incubi are both originally demons who invade your dreams to rape you from the Christian mythology. Siren are from the Greek mythology and depending on the story are either half fish or half bird, their song used to enchant sailors until they smashed their ship on the cliffs. When cultures clash the terms become interchangeable.

A writer composes a story that includes a woman who tempts and manipulates men. He could give this woman any name that fits the template.
Witch, sorceress, siren, succubus, nymph, Liliṯu, sphinx (to some extend), huldra, or any other name that describes the femme fatale archetype.
And those are just the ones i can name of the top of my head.

They are all fictional, so claiming one is a subspecies of the other is up to the writer of the story.
