@Reapthemusic "Quite right your grace." Like's reflection spoke from the glass as he set it on his lips. His voice, no her voice, moving up in pitch as it took a more feminine nature. White and delicate fingers put the empty beerglass down. Red lips to match the creature before her. "And I should know, I'm a collector of sorts. It is an honor to meet you countess, duchess, queen." Like acompanied her words with a light bow.
I have a feeling Jonny is gonna be a handfull. Aught to be fun. I never intended for Like to be in any way responsible though, so I think he'll dump him on another character ASAP. As long as the scene ends unexpectedly anything goes.
"Sounds rough. Hold on, space space? As in you're from outer space? Intresting.." Like followed John as the former ravaged the bar and started to consume beer in a way that could only be described as eviceration. "Well it's lucky for the masquerade that fate chose this spot out of all places for you to land." With controlled precision Like manouvred the copied tail to pluck an unscathed beer bottle and opened it on the counter side. "I see you are unfamiliar with this world, save a few instincts. I can relate. All you need to know for now is that the handsome tall creature with the black clothes and sharp voice is our host. By his grace you can relax here. Your host desires for the decor to remain intact, something to keep in mind. As for everyone else, if they have names, there are rules. Rule's you can learn or ignore, each with their own concequences. Those without a name you can consider decor." Like grinned at his bizzare reflection as he slowly poured the gold liquid down the smooth glass. "On that note I do hope you have a name traveler."
Influenced by the crowd of people around him Like kept shifting in confusing shapes and colours. As he spoke his tone and pitch altered dramatically with every few words, Like managed to make the whole sound coherent. "Welcome creature. Judging by your choice of transport, lack of language barriers and calm demeanor I'm going to guess.." A tail, replica to Johns dexterously slithered along with Like's hands as he waved them around when he talked. "You've never been to the human realm before, but you have seen humans and other sapient creatures. Are you from the shadow realms? The sunken city? Nightmare city?" He stuck out a hand, or claw, he wasn't quite sure at this point. "You can call me Like, and you've arived in the perfect place... er well, a few meters to the left would have been the perfect place."
The sudden shriek startled Like as he hopped back and instinctively shifted shape to mimic the creature he'd never seen before. Like mirrored John doe in his movements and sounds, curious to find out more about him.
Thrusting his hosts confidence Like decided to let the angel business rest. Seeing as he had wings at the time Like perched on the bookshelf. From there he watched how guest poured in and wondered if any other weird methods of transport would be used. Like hoped to see something creative. Did he. With a thunderous crash of sound and debris a flaming meteorite smashed into the ground before him. The shelf Like was sitting, like most things nearby on crashed down. S o as to make his sudden drop look intentional he floated down to inspect the smoldering object. "I haven't seen anyone travel like that in a long time."
Do I hear pocket dimension?
Oh, I like Hale too much for my own good. Some henchmen are competent, others are completely incompetent and there are those that walk the narrow line between. Hale jumps skip rope with that line. I'll be offline for a couple of hours
"Yes! Yes! Lots a good news! Liiiitle bit of bad." the crackling voice of Hale answered. Reception was never quite great when Hale called. The only guy in the country to use Nokia's as burner phones. A bunch of animalistic noises could be heard in the background. "So I managed to convince a couple of different packs to join you. That is, they are willing to listen to you if it means they no longer have to listen to me." Hale sounded slightly proud of his apparent skill to bother his kin. "So long story short I have 3 large coach busses full of rabid monsters!" These words were followed with more rough noises and Hales muffled voice shouting "It's a compliment!" A few seconds later he seemed to have regained controll over the phone. "Right! *pant* Also, *pant* on the way we ran into some of your vamper fanboys, yes you seem to have those, so we picked them up as well." "..." "All in all I have 5 busses full of ready soldiers for your war. Aught to be fun. Lastly there's the bad news... All of the busses broke down, can you come pick me up?"
"Thank you" A muted tone came from the package before a small red claw tore the paper away from inside. As the wrapping fell to the ground a small handheld mirror revealed itself. In it the lords reflection smiled in a way that would seem absurdly childish to anyone who knew the lord well. "I couldn't find anyone accompany on my travels, so I had to make due." Like exclaimed nonchalantly as he crawled from the mirror shaped like a toddler version of his host. With a yawn and a stretch Like grew to meet his old friend face to face, but halfway stopped, interrupted by the sound of ripping fabric. Like turned his head to see large angelic feathers sprout from his back. "Uhm... your lordship?.." Like muttered as he strained to look past his wings at the tired Jack stumbling into the lobby. "I think we might have a slayer on our hands."
