Critical hit!

Wonder what you make of that, heh. Charlie got lucky.

And with that I am off to bed.
Charlie was surprised when the ground he expected there to be wasn't there. Shocked, he held on to Ris while he tried to figure out what was happening.
The lights went out and he felt immobilized and stuck. Imprisoned by his captive?
A mouthful of dirt told him that they must have dropped into a pit, and then buried.

Perfect!

No running away from this one, Charlie thought.

Charlie detonated himself. His most powerful blast, point blank, in an enclosed area.
He couldn't have orchestrated it better himself, he really couldn't have.
Charlie wondered if there'd be a creature alive who could take a hit like that.
Ciskel felt a powerful shock. An earthquake? Must have been Ris. Wait.. where are Ris and that guy she was fighting? Did he not notice them leaving?
Cirkel smirked.
"But then you would know I would do this right?"
The mechanical bird took a nosedive and crashed down onto the dirt with a loud *thunk*.

He then scanned the area, looking for someone to assist while he talked to this strange man who seemed to have done his homework.

All he could do for now was lighten the monkey's staff, granting him some extra speed and maneuverability.

"So I can assume that your spells involve mechanical creatures of sort. Creation magic? That would suggest that the exploding buildings are your handy work. Impressive."
Ciskel casually slinged the three metal balls in the direction of the group of wizards.
As they flew they changed from "virtually weightless" to "freight train" and two of the orbs hit their mark.
The two wizards were knocked back, accompanied by the sound of snapping ribs.
The third ball missed his target as it's intended target seemed to have some form of superhuman speed magic.
That wizard jumped and assaulted Ciskel from above with curved daggers. But he was pulled to the ground mid-jump as his daggers suddenly became too heavy to bear.
This caused him to land in a kneeling position, which was punished by a kick to the face from Ciskel.
Two other wizards stood back and threw beams of acid and lightning in Ciskel's way. Ciskel moonjumped up, then pinned the two casters to the ground by turning their clothes into heavy shackles.

Ciskel landed and looked up at the man at the side who didn't seem to take action yet.
He seemed to be inspecting him, creeped him out a little.
"I assume that was enough of a show that you can tell what kind of magic I am using? Are you going to tell me what kind of special little snowflake you two are?"
Algon opened a communication line whispering in Jared's ear.
"Looks like all of them are holding back for now, don't piss them off and it might stay that way. If you can kill or knock unconscious before they realize they should take us serious: That would be preferable. Oh and if you can arrange one of your little birds to fly over to Antos's personal little vendetta I'd be so happy. I would love to see that fight."
If Casey is addressed in the next 10 or so hours I'll post.
After that I am off to celebrate Easter. I don't expect to have inter-webs in the mountains (where the eggs are hidden apparently) so next post after that'll be Tuesday
Charlie rolled with the kick and jumped up, he rushed for Ris, then past her left side. Shoving the hilt of his left flag into her kidney while waving the right one, picking up speed.
"I'd have to be right? Hope you are! That kick was weak!"
He spun around her, the flag swiped around them in a full circle. The end result being Charlie standing against Ris her back with his left hand holding the flag still pushing down on her guts, and his right arm around her chest. The right flag rested on his shoulder.
He leaned back, dragging her off the board, and braced for the inevitable kick.

As his head was so close behind hers now, he could whisper
"Hsssss"
Ciskel braced, only to watch Antos jump past him and land in front of Life. He made the connection.
Better give these two some privacy then, before they end up killing us all.
"Life hold on to the ground for a sec!"
With some concentration he selected a large slab of dirt the two were standing on and picked it up. He then jumped with the small arena he selected and threw it so that it stuck on top of the tower of a local building.
This way no one would interfere, he thought. He was right too, a bunch of wizards came running his direction.
Algon stood next to Jenifer in his throne room. He looked trough various lacrima at the battle that had just started.
Jenifer didn't, she was devouring a large pile of various meats and fruits.
Algon smiled at her appetite.
"Looks like they started. A toast! To events going exactly as planned."
Jenifer replied with a growl.
"Don't talk with your mouth full Jenifer."
@wraithblade6 clever way of solving the puzzle. :)

Gabriel walked into the forest.

Martin followed closely. Nervous, but sure about his decision. He felt like Pandora opening her box.
If anyone say them he'd doubt they'd do anything to stop them.

I am here, and you are accepted, mostly because we lost someone, since Cyborgs aren't Supernatuarl

Would it fit better if it's magic rather than electronics that move him? Like a golem?
Fantastic timing indeed. Say, Wendigo Wail sure fights flashy don't they?

Also I had to make the eagle joke, too good to pass up.
