Axel takes the coffee and sips it, before once more replying,"I think I'll be able to find out a bit of what he can do. If you can join me after you've finished business here, it would be much ore productive than just having me on the case. After all, two minds work better than one. I gladly accept your offer.". He smiles again, before taking another sip of his beverage.

Miller sturdy claped Axel on the back "Thats exactly what I wanted to hear pal!" he said before he went over to the desk. "I will meet up with you as soon as I am finished like I said and before you go, take one of these wireless headsets from the table in the corner, so we can stay in contact 24/7 ok? See you later!" he told Axel before he proceeded at doing the paperwork.

Axel stumbled forward slightly because of the more or less sudden clap on the back. "Right..." he replied, before standing back upright and going over to the table Miller indicated and taking a wireless headset. He sighed, before proceeding to the exit. Now the problem was how would he find out the information? He knew well any vampire would most likely detect someone who had been following them. But because he didn't seem like a normal vampire, he didn't know the percentage of his ability to sense potential threats. Axel pondered on the thought of calling his sister, Tabea. They both might have the same problem, since neither had experienced anything like this before. He shook his head. This wouldn't do. Axel was set the task, not Tabea. He would do it, and that was final. With that, he began planning out on how he would get a hold of this information.

Gabriel .. Stature ...negotations Gabriel?
Martin couldn't see the targets face but he could see the boss.
He could barely make out a few of the words reading his lips.
He hadn't done that in a while and was out of practice.
"Gabriel" Martin whispered to himself.

Mithias watched as Gabe broke into Matt's facility. Silence on the comms. Was it worth it to lower his mental shield to listen in on the conversation? Of course it was. The vampire waited tensely.

"Magnus...so he was the one who lead the assault here.."Matt said in a distant voice."Atleast this information is confirmed..Why are you so concerned about him? Furthermore, why are you concerned about any other vampire or human other than yourself? All documentation on you records you slaughtering both human and vampire regardless of whom they were unless they served a purpose to you...so that beckons another question. What use is he to you?" Matt couldn't simply let two Old-blood vampires do what they please, he had no choice currently with Gabriel, but Magnus was a different story. If he let them both go it would be treason..then again if he didn't Gabriel was powerful enough to decimate Kilo Point by himself in it's current state.

"Magnus.. assault.. information is confirmed... any other vampire or human.. documentation on you.. slaughtering both .. served a purpose."
Martin mumbled under his breath reading.
Magnus must be the other vampire.
He sent a text. Vampire mentioned before is named Magnus, requesting more intel. Target name is Gabriel, requesting more intel.

"Now, aren't you a curious little kitty...." Gabriel smiles, leaning in close. Matt finds himself paralyzed as he stares into the ancient vampire's eyes. Gabriel softly strokes a single clawed finger over Mat's neck, as he speaks. "I've already made the arrangements. A scientist of yours named Jack will receive a single drop of my blood for his experiments, with my DNA in it." Gabrield smiles at Matt, making his teeth abundantly obvious. Oh how he loved watching mortals squirm. "We could do this the old-fashioned way, but my friend Jack has already made all the preparations. You were mind-controlled by a vampire spy. One of the dead vampires has already been disguised as a SOLDIER by Jack's men, and the report has been filed. You had no choice but to issue the order. Right?" Gabriel stands up, not even waiting for Matt to reply. He knew what the answer would be. He had planned this out perfectly, after all. "I'll see you later, human. As you surmised, I have a stake in this game." With this ominous prediction, Gabriel exits the room, seemingly disappearing as he leaves. Mithias sees that, in fact, Gabriel simply moves into a nearby corner too fast for the human eye to follow, giving the illusion of teleportation as he disappears from sight, a small compulsion distracting them for the moment it takes him to move.

Now!
Martin runs over to Gabriel.
"Sir Gabriel. I would request a word with you... In private."
His eyes burn with determination, fighting of the fear. He seems almost relaxed as he stands before the shadow of death.
"Even if only to satisfy your curiosity?"

Agent Varomere hovered above the broken wall where Matt and the infamous one had been. He had heard enough to possibly interfere with Gabriel's plans, with some luck. His honed mental shield kept the vampire from duping him with any tricks, and Mithais saw where he had 'vanished' to. His fighter-jet's scanners were completely fooled however. Mithias smirked as he noticed Martin, whom he did not know yet, promptly find Gabriel at the corner. So much for ancient vampire tricks and technology.

A drop of blood? This brought a frown to Mith's face. "You're getting reckless with your power, old man." Mithias said to himself as he contemplated a counter move. No new orders had not come in yet. Matt was probably still reeling from the encounter... or he was arguing with HQ. It was time to take advantage. Even Gabriel couldn't be everywhere at once. If he wanted Magnus alive for some reason, then Magnus had to die. SOLDIER didn't have the technology or the agents, not even special agent vampires, to possibly locate Magnus, but Mithias knew he might have a unique chance.

If SOLDIER could have bombed Magnus, or Gabriel, they would have. The trouble was, they couldn't destroy Gabriel without surely starting a war with Magnus' bunch. The oldblood may have been gravely injured, but he'd certainly return with a vengeance. ... unless Mithias killed him first.

The fighter jet suddenly levitated upwards and began moving in the last seen direction of the wounded Magnus. Mithias gave no communication of what he was doing. He was in essence going rogue, willing to take the wrath of Gabriel off of SOLDIER so that Magnus could be killed. He just had to hope he could find the old vampire before it was too late. The jet shot off with a roar.

Moments later, Mithias slowed and scanned the bloody trail in the forest.

After the battle, Lambda returned to the ship for maintanance and other checks. As the checks were done, Lambda decided to walk around on the ship, since she wasnt given a decent order yet, constantly thinking about the vampire she fought before. It seemed like he knew her but she couldnt remember anything about him or her past.

Meanwhile Miller still is working on the papersheets and stuff. "Thats the thing I hate the most... doing the paperwork after the battle... I hope Axel atleast got some more luck than I do.." he said to himself before he continued withe the next sheet.

Matt breathed a heavy sigh of relief once Gabriel had fully left, he knew his plan, but what could he possibly do to stop it? Gabriel was a force not to be reckoned with...possibly.. Matt got on radio with Miller, "Miller, Matt here. Gabriel decided to pay a visit to my office, Yea the ancient badass with seemingly limitless power. That other Old-blood from earlier was apparently named Magnus, Yea the one who lead the attack. His terms, Gabriel's terms, is for Magnus to be spared otherwise he threatens to kill us all. Of course, we can't let this happen, if at all possible. We MUST find a way to kill them both, it has to be a stealth mission, otherwise Gabriel will sense the betrayal and kill us all. Figure this out, I'll be thinking over a few strategies myself." "Matt out." He said ending the comm link.

Miller was about to fill out another paper as Matt interupted him with a radio call, "I will see what I can do, but it will require some time of planning so it might take a long time until I can send out some troops~" he responded to Matt's request on the stealth mission. Miller didn't intend to tell him that he already sent out his best men, since it had been an unauthorised top secret mission Miller gave his soldier. As the comm link ended Miller had a slight smile on his face, but it imediately vanished as he saw the pile of paperwork that still was left ...darn...

Nightfall, was getting close. Mithias sighed heavily in frustration as the trail became confused at the point of a large rock. Darkness would only give his adversaries an edge and his allies a deficit. Night-vision goggles were a pathetic approximation of a vampire's sight and senses. Any humans would be scrambling to make up for their losses. Certainly Magnus and his vampires would relocate, if not renew the attack after dark. Mithias had to hurry.

The vampire stopped the jet, popped open the canopy, and jumped to the ground. Relaying his instructions with a small control panel, he sent the jet off into a holding pattern on its own. With the scream of the aircraft now gone, Mithias went to examining his surroundings on a more personal level. The blood on the original trail had its own identifying scent, clearly distinguishable from human blood. Mithias could easily tell the difference... the fact was, he had acquired a taste for vampire blood. His primary purpose in SOLDIER was hunting and killing vampires. Humans hardly ever became so much of a problem that someone needed to die. When he killed a vampire, he would feed on them, gaining a small portion of their strength. Mithias had been in SOLDIER a long time.

The trail did split three ways, but only one way had any small drop of that precious scent of power. The choice was clear, and the river was only a two-way split, as logically, Magnus would have gone either up or down stream. Mithas started walking downstream, his senses on high alert for any scent, sound, or broken branch. He was getting closer. Other rebel vampires had probably ran back this way, and their trails would converge on the same area. Speaking of which... there would no doubt be some of them keeping watch. Mithias moved himself closer to the trees alongside the river. The fading light was just right to reveal a humanoid shape just up the rise.

Drawing his blades silently, Mithias moved in close enough to charge. He couldn't see over the rise, but he didn't hear anything, so attacking this sentinel was a risk he was willing to take. The vampire had not even time to turn around to the sound of footfalls in the dirt before Mithias drove his right blade into his right side and across his insides through both lungs. With the left blade, he cut across the lookout's throat, opening his windpipe and spilling dark blood. The vampire was fairly young and already wounded. He didn't get a chance to make a sound, but his death had been swift and merciful. Mithias always felt a pang of regret when a youth was killed, as if it were a human. ...poor chap had just made some wrong choices. A poor choice for a guard, nonetheless.

Mithias laid the body down and checked to see that he had not been seen. There was a cave opening not far from there. Mithias signaled his jet to double back before he crept closer.

Magnus heard a faint sound outside followed by a low whirring of machinery, could SOLDIER have found him? No...not possible...or was it? He rotated his wounded shoulder which now had full mobility. He ordered his remaining vampire group to stick close to him as he stood up off his tattered cot. He slowly stalked out of the cave and stopped short of the entrance and peered out, he could see two figures, one on the ground and one standing next to the other. He focused on the one standing and noticed a SOLDIER insignia on his outfit, not far behind him was a highly advanced SOLDIER tactical jet. So, this explains how he found him so quickly... He fished one of the flashbangs he grabbed off of a SOLDIER's grenade belt from his fight with Johnathan and threw it and it landed directly in front of the two. He closed his eyes to shield them from the explosion, afterwhich he dashed forward while the SOLDIER was stunned from the blast.

Hoping the blast also dis-arrayed the jet's targetting and tracking systems Magnus dashed out of the cave, cut a tree in half, and flung it at the jet. With the jet gone, the vampire wouldn't stand a chance. His small, but exsistant, army emerged from the cave and surrounded the area in a circular formation.

Lightning eventually awoke in the med bay, she had to sneak out of the outpost and get to Magnus, report SOLDIER's plans. She struggled to her feet, painfully at first, stiff from lying there for so long. She grabbed up her gear and slipped her boots on and snuck out the med-bay door. All SOLDIER were supposed to be patrolling the city on high alert due to the attack. She quickly went out the back door to the outpost and made for the forest. She had to get there without drawing too much attention to herself...if it weren't for Magnus knowing the location of her family..her brother..she wouldn't be in this situation. Unfortunately for her, he did, and she had to do everything in her power to help Magnus's plans while maintaining cover.

Mithias approached the cave. Yes... this was it. The hideout was so obvious once you knew where the cave was. The auras of the gathered immortals were fairly easy to sense from this close. The SOLDIER vampire checked his control panel and frowned. Jet #709 was going to be back a little sooner than he preferred.

The roar of the flying warmachine could be heard now, getting louder and more obvious. Mithias turned his head sharply as he sensed a strong presence appear at the cave entrance. He had been seen, or heard, as he knew he would be. The jet was settling into a position above the area when the vampire's eye caught the slight movement of a small object traveling through the air directly at him. He recognized a flash-bomb and dodged to the side with a roll. The blast was briefly deafening. Any human would have been knocked unconscious, but Mithias was far from human. Plant and dirt were flung through the air from the explosion as he rolled up and drew his two swords. The anticipated follow-up attack didn't come, and instead, he saw the destruction of his 6 million dollar piece of equipment with a tree. Without a pilot, the empty machine wasn't capable to dodging or firing back. It was a flying duck. The raven-haired vampire growled softly as the thing crashed down with a much larger explosion. This wasn't good.

Mithias faced the rebel, Magnus, keeping focused on him while the two were encircled by other, weaker vampires. The elder vampire looked fairly well, aside from a little dirt... and blood. In his black SOLDIER uniform, weapons drawn, Mithias stood casually, ready for anything the oldblood or his followers might try. The situation wasn't what he had planned and circumstances were not in his favor, but no son of Gabriel was a coward, or a fool. Mithias was going to have to make this work.

"Magnus." He called out. "I am special agent Varomere of SOLDIER, law enforcement, and regulator of vampirekind. You are under arrest for flagrant violation of the Blood Contract, leading a rebellion, wanton destruction of Kilo Point, and murder of humankind on numerous counts." Mithias glared at him, hateful of the other vampire's heartless crimes. "Surrender peacefully, or I will be compelled to use deadly force to bring you down."

Magnus chuckled loudly which eventually turned into a demonic laugh, the other vampire's chimed in each with their own distinct mocking laughs. "You are a fool, you think those flimsy pieces of metal scare me? ME? You come alone and threaten me, yet expect me to surrender when numbers and power is clearly on my side." Magnus told him, a half-grin spread across the right side of his face showing part of his long jagged shark like teeth. "I'd escape while you still have the chance boy." He heard Lightning scream, without breaking eye contact with Mithias he ordered the vampires to let her go.

Lightning eventually reached the area where the two, and Magnus's vampires were at. Almost immediately two vampires grabbed her and she screamed in shock "Let go of me!" she yelled while she struggled to squirm free of the vampire's grip. At Magnus's command the vampires let her go and she joined him at his side, she walked out and saw Mithias. Damnit...SOLDIER.. Surely he would tell her superiors..

Mithias narrowed his eyes at the blonde girl with the green eyes. She was human and a traitor. Magnus had inside information all along, except, no low-ranked human would have known about himself and the fighterjet getting sent out.

It was begining to look like Mithias was going to have to kill a lot of folks today. He looked back to Magnus again. whether he lived or finally died this day, after nearly 800 years, Mithias wanted to know. "Why did you do it Magnus?"
