a FYI wiz, SOLDIER is currently heading to Magnus's last known location, he swapped caves. Magnus ain't dumb ._.

will they find a trail?
"She always is." Ciskel joked as he drifted slowly around the room eating fruits he didn't know the names of.
"She's strong that girl, and one day she'll learn to trust in herself and her magic. Then she'll start learning and growing for real. It'll be scary when she reaches full potential, be sure to be there at her side when that happens.."
Ciskel enjoyed being cryptic, his predictions always came out one way or another, however they often wouldn't be clear until the time was there.
His thoughts trailed off to wonderings of magics, maybe he should take up study in the arts of divination. His mastery of gravity had almost reached a dead end. Going further would likely one day place him in a scenario where he would have to choose between the life or death of another. He didn't want that, he was lethal enough, like many others here.
Charlie finished up, the evidence all gone and licked tightly in his icebox.
The job was finished, but very boring. So he took a little detour and climbed the church tower.
After the large bell had been blown to bits that hailed on the streets below he was slightly more satisfied.
He heard alarmed people coming in his direction so he grabbed the box and got the hell out of dodge.
Luckily he remembered where the portal stood, it was still open. Algon waited for him on the other side.
"That makes one, go get the second one." He said with what almost looked like a contend smile.
"Who is the 3rd one?" Charlie asked.
"Don't worry, you'll see."

...... he's psychic?

Going to develop in that direction step by step.
I'm not sure where it'll end up, but for now it's a sixth sense.
The clarity given by unlife allows him to comprehend the madness and pierce trough the veil.
I'm going to keep this vague cause mysterious elements are ruined when you apply a healthy dose of science.

Btw akje, if you want to join the shadowstrike squad, which role does your char have? Also an abillity affiliated with stealth and darkness would fit. Ghost can turn almost perfectly invisible due to his suit and zero is a top assassin, silent and deadly, hidden in the shadows.

I wasn't planning on making Cedrick very sneaky.
Martin walked trough the forest in silence. Without sight or sound, he perceived every shape and color, every ripple in the air. He knew his path and stroled while deep in thought. He knew he was close when he felt his memory of Johnathan, the knight standing over his grave. Martin remembered burying him out of respect, although he didn't realize the meaning at the time. He also remembered the sword, in his memory it had been a large red ceramic blade, surprisingly light and razor sharp.
As he saw it now it was a symbol, one of faith and perseverance. It felt wrong when he picked it up. Martin knew it wasn't meant for the plans that ran trough Martins mind.
But the blade was re-purposed, it was now blessed with the profane purpose of bringing suffering. If it ever had a name, Martin decided to rename it to 'fallen one'.

Martin stood with the Crimson blade in hand, now as light as a feather to him. On his belt hung the vapor machine, he had refilled it with blood. It had long since gone cold, but was still fresh enough, he could still notice the potential energy flow trough when he touched the bag. Now he concentrated on Kilo Point. Hundreds of lives, hundreds of beating hearts.
*da dum* *da dum* *da dum*
Together they formed a weird melody, beckoning Martin.
With a light pace he walked over to the city and into the shadows.
I look at Saren with a sad smile as a boiling tear of blood runs across my cheek.
"I am pact-bound, I have no choice. Never did. Free will is for mortals."
I repeatedly slam on the glass again.
"This is the last time I ask nicely. Please, this won't end well if you force me to get creative."

Yes but that was his Dad's part, which would be easy, since he had permission, but if he doesn't have permission, he has to try harder

Why would an arch devil care about the coming and going of other devil's? If he noticed at all he'd be a lot more concerned about the freaking werewolf who goes around throwing people into his domain.

besides. Magnum casually handwaves a power that banishes people to freaking hell? Just like that. And he doesn't even have anything magic related on his character sheet.
Just stick to your own rules for starters.

Go ahead. I'm thinking their intro should be a convo with Jack where he sends them after Gabriel.

Can Cedric join?

BTW, Gabriel blinded Martin. The price for asking him so brashly for immortal life was his eyes. He burned the skin so it would never regrow.

Yeah it wasn't clear weather he was supposed to be blinded or not. I chose blind myself as well since it's cool.
What he is seeing is in his minds eye.

Why would Jack put a free-will mode in his weapon of mass destruction?

Idunno, just brainstorming here. I was actually thinking that feeling her alcohol might screw up the controls. But I guess that may be too silly.

Now that I think about it, why would you make a human fitted with the abilities of a robot if you can make a robot? Because the intelligence of the human is well beyond any Artificial Intelligence you can create. So a self thinking fire-at-will mode seems kind of logical. Does that sound weird? hmm...
