Hmmm do I post plots or characters ? Or both ! Hehe.
At the top of the list right now for characters I want to play;
-Sennin Tobosaku "Saki"
- A nomadic minor diety and trickster living under an immortality curse.
- Morally ambivalent thief with questionable motives.
- Likes peaches, fruit wine, traveling, and dogs.
- Dislikes most humans, cats, the rich, and any form of transportation that gives her motion sickness.
Despite being depicted as a smiling old man in the legend, the 'real' her is a feminine-bodied sneak thief cursed to eternal life after stealing 3 peaches from the garden of the "Queen Mother of the West" sennin Seiobo. She now serves as a "weapon" of sorts for Sei. A decent fighter, her specialty is stealth rather than confrontation and she uses dual tanto swords when fighting. She's currently a nomad who's mission is to track down the god of calamity causing phantom storms throughout Japan.

"Best" plots to be paired with;
1: new (or old/forgotten) god of calamity is causing storms and gloom throughout Japan; their negative energy releasing thousands of angry, volatile phantoms into the Near Shore (the world of the living). Despite the fact that most humans cannot see phantoms, their energy is infectious to the living and causes increases in depression. Because of the storms, suicide and murder rates have both gone up drastically as more and more humans are being possessed by the evil spirits. Now other gods are being forced to take action, even if it means hunting down and killing one of their own.
Could work with:
- a human who can see phantoms,
- a god of calamity,
- another diety looking for the one responsible,
- etc
2: while out 'working' one day, character A- a diety/reaper/Death itself- is "saved" from a horrible accident by character B- a 'psychic' human- who not only manages to see A when no other humans can, but also move them out of the way just in time. Unfortunately for the human, this tragic accident ends in their death. Worse, characater B was never meant to be able to see A, much less sacrifice their life for them, and so, with no place to cross over to, B becomes trapped between the worlds of the living and the dead- the Near Shore and the Far Shore.
This one can go many different ways-
1. if A is a diety, A becomes riddled with guilt over a human dying for them and decides to take B on as their Shinki/spirit weapon of sorts to give meaning to their death. Can be paired with plot 1.
2. reaper A offers to take B to the river styx, the bridge that connects the two Shores, and the two go on an adventure to try and recover B's living form while avoiding other reapers who see their job to collect souls, regardless of circumstance.
3. Death, never having been saved by a human before, offers to make B one of their reapers. B refuses, stubbornly insisting that they died for Death, and in return Death should give them back their life. Death eventually (begrudgingly) agrees and B is returned to the Near Shore- however, everything is different. Not only can B see phantoms and reapers, they can interact with them too, and before long phantoms and angry spirits begin to flock to B demanding their own bodies be restored. Cue drama.
As a side note I would really love to do the Death/human plot, however as my character of Death is both ancient and a reaper, you are gonna need a pretty unique human to grab their attention. If you think your character is "the one", please please please message me because I'm dying to try this plot (;
