Current There's this amazing webtoon called Bastard. 10/10 recommend for highly developed plot & characters, unique story, and tons of suspense. Check it out if you like thrillers.

I remember when I didn't know that sites collect data and search history to personalize the ads they show you and I used to get really scared that they knew what I was thinking about

Allie shook her head at Jon. "No, not really. But you don't have to say anything about yourself, if you aren't comfortable. I understand." She smiled reassuringly, then gave Ace an amused grin. "Werewolf?" she giggled. "How would I confuse you for one of those, when you ran in here as a cute little puppy?"
Allie chuckled. "I see that." She smiled a little. "I'm a Dijinn. When I use my powers, my eyes and tattoos glow. I have more than the ones on my arms. You just can't see them." She wasn't going to explain the powers she had, at least not yet. She didn't want to scare off potential friends. She gazed at the tattoos on her arms as a memory surfaced. "I tried getting them removed once," she spoke mainly to herself. "They came right back. I was disappointed. They're an eyesore."
Allie smiled warmly. "It's nice meeting you guys. At least I'll know some people now. I'm not the most social person." Sweeping her gaze from Ace to Jon, she asked, "Well, I know Ace here is a donut loving boy who can turn into a dog. I don't know anything about you though, Jon. Except that you like bacon." She grinned, scratching her head a bit in embarrassment.
"A dragon," Allie said in awe. She shifted uncomfortably in her seat, deciding not to go see what was going on. Everything seemed okay now. Plus, she didn't want to embarrass the person who had changed. If that was her who had transformed into a dragon and had trouble trying to control herself, she wouldn't want anyone seeing her. But if a fight broke out, she'd help in any way she could. She traced the tattoo on her right arm with her finger in thought. "So, who are you guys? I'm Allie."
Allie smiled at the happy boy eating his donuts and sat down, letting out a deep sigh. She wanted to leave right then and there, and feed her starving body, but she wasn't going to. She was here to live with others who were different like her. She might as well make some friends. All of the sudden, she heard a loud roar. A chill went down her spine. "What was that?" she asked the boys.

David went tothe kitchen. He looked in the firdge and said "I can make us something to eat. I learned to cook over the years." He began looking for pots and Pans.

Allie watched the boy dig through the fridge, then look for pots and pans. Food didn't cure her hunger, but she couldn't deny such a kind offer. She'd eat whatever he made. "Thank you. That's very nice of you."

Yes I did and it was fun." Ace said happily before shifting to his human form. "Know if there's any doughnuts in here?" He asked. still smiling.

Jonathan turned his attention back to the stove and turned it off. He then placed his bacon on a plate. He then sat down and began to eat.

Allie couldn't help but laugh. His happy energy made her feel better. "I'm sure there are. I'll look for you." She stood on her tiptoes and looted through the cabinets, eventually finding a box of them. "Here you go," she smiled, handing the box to him.
Allie, surprised at the dog's sudden energetic outburst, waved a bit awkwardly. "Hello. It's, um, nice to meet you." She chuckled a bit. She'd never seen such a happy looking creature. "Did you run all of the way over here?"
Allie sniffed the air. Along with the scent of sizzling bacon, she thought she could smell...dog? Was there a dog here? Or maybe someone here had a dog at their old home? She wondered if the boy smelled it as well, or if she was just crazy. Deciding to finally speak, she closed the fridge and sat down. "Do you smell something funny?" she asked. "Not your bacon, of course! That smells wonderful," she hastily added, not wanting to sound rude.
Allie looked at the boy (Jonathan) for a moment, then turned her gaze away. Not sure if she should say something and disturb his silence, she walked over to the fridge and started looking through it. The closest thing to blood there was raw meat. Concern grew on her face. She hadn't eaten in almost a week, but she'd just have to control herself until the day was over, and she could go do what she needed to do. She was not going to take blood from anyone here.
An ache began to develop in Allie's throat. Hungry. She was hungry. And not for food. She looked down at her arms, and to her despair, the tattoos were softly glowing blue in anticipation of putting a human into a deep slumber. Not wanting to draw attention to herself or freak anyone out, she hastily followed the fresh scent of bacon frying. It had to lead to the kitchen. Maybe there was some animal blood in there. That would hold off the Djinn nature for a while. She made it to the kitchen and walked inside.
