Allie started to read her book, waiting for everyone to settle in. There wasn't anything really better to do. But she didn't mind. She always took the opportunity to read a good book when it presented itself. She didn't really know how to talk to the people around her anyway.

Allie stroked Ikumi's head, then slowly walked over to Mr. Handrage. "Hey, Mr. Handrage," she spoke softly. "How are you feeling?"

Allie looked up as a boy (Alex) walked in, the shifted her gaze back to the front. When the girl (Aura) switched into her cat form, she had an almost irresistible urge to pet her. God, did she love cats. But she couldn't just pet her, because she was a person too. That wouldn't be cool.
Allie couldn't wait for class to start. She didn't like school, but she really enjoyed reading and grammar. All of the sudden, her thirst came back, causing her throat to burn. She took a deep breath, gripping the sides of her desk. She'd have to wait until she got home.
Allie walked into her first class, English. She sat in the front of the class. Most kids always chose the back rows, or filled up the middle if they were too late to claim a seat in the back. She liked being able to focus on class, and not others. Plus, she'd never admit this, she couldn't see the board.
Allie shrugged her shoulders when Virgil ran off. She was curious, but it wasn't her business. She then noticed the boy who had crashed into the door (James), the very eager looking guy (Kevin), and a girl transforming from a cat into a human (Aura). There'd definitely be a lot of interesting things happening here.

Allie turned her head towards the voice, seeing it was the boy who was sitting out there. She gave Virgil a genuine smile, surprised someone had spoken to her. "Hey."

Allie frowned, anxiously knotting her fingers together. "I don't know, Edward. I don't think we should leave Mr. Handrage here. He'll wake up really confused and hungry. And he's our responsibility now. We have to make sure he's taken care of." She gave Ikumi a warm smile. She didn't want her to feel like that their teacher was her burden alone. They were in this together.
Allie went and checked on Ikumi, giving her a gentle hug and telling her that it would be alright. She then checked on Mr. Handrage's body. He was okay. Well, as okay as he'd be after what happened, but he was alive. She gave Franz a hug, knowing that he must be hurting too. Finally, she stopped in front of Edward. She took his hands and gently unclenched them, then wrapped her arms around his waist, pressing her face against his chest. "I love you, Edward," she said softly, so only he would hear her words.
