Allie saw it then. She had read about crazy things happening like this in many books, and was imagining horrible scenarios unfolding. Her hand shook a bit as she squeezed Will's tightly, moving so close to him for comfort that she would step on his feet if she kept moving. "Let's get out of here. Faeya, Alex, grab your journals. Fast."

Allie thumbed through the journals. She picked out the one that said Doyle on it. She frowned as she quickly flipped through the pages. "Mine's in Irish, but seems to be from around the same time period." She looked at Will, feeling the same exact way. "What's going on?"

Allie stopped looking when she felt a hand on her shoulder. She turned her head towards the hand and smiled, realizing it was Will's. She put the book in her bag and squeezed his hand, going back to looking. "I'll be fine. There are lots of books. I'll be sad when this is all over with."

Allie held the book tighter to her chest as she sadly watched the books burn. "We just want some answers, that's all. If you want to find out why you are what you are, feel free to come along." She then followed Will into the restricted section, leaving the girl to her decision.

Correct for one, second: I want the characters to explore their chemistry during the RP because I don't trust my matchmaking skills and I feel like things would be more interesting that way. If you want to set a goal now, I won't stop you, but I'm not going to tell your characters who to love.

Allie's face reddened a bit and she nodded. "Yes, you're absolutely right. I'm Allie. Glad you'll be joining us, Alex. Hopefully we can find a way to get rid of our curses together."

Allie smiled sheepishly. "Well, yeah. I know how it feels when you look that bad, but I know I won't die when it happens. I didn't know if you were or not. Now, take the medicine I gave you." She then flinched when Alex bursted open the lock. "Wow! What power!"

Allie moved Will's head so he would be comfortable as she dug around in her bag. She took out a couple of tylenol and placed them into his hand. "Here you go, take these. These should help the pain for a while. I keep them around in case I start feeling too bad." She then took out a small book light. "Will this do for light? It will at least make the shadow a little bigger. It's all I've got. Thank god Mary's so smart."

Allie sighed in relief, closing her eyes. "That was scary. Are you sure you're going to be okay? You're not looking so good. In fact, you look just like me on some days. Thank god your music and singing made me feel better today, or I wouldn't have had the strength to pull you away from that portal, or even catch and hold you up for that matter."
