Westbrook, Oregon is a small town located on the west coast. It has a population of roughly 5,000 and has always been somewhat of a conservative town. The town was pretty close knit and it was one of those towns that people never left. It was often the case that people would leave, whether it was for college or a career and then returned to find that they were judged and looked down upon. When a new family would move into town, the community was cautious about accepting them until they knew the family was acceptable. You and your family have just moved in to the community because there is a cure for your sisters disease. The day after your sister dies your mother takes in a foreign exchange student who has a lot of your sisters tendencies . Will you accept her or shun her ? Will the community accept you ?
