Decided to make my IC post, just to make sure you know i'm still here.

Jared sat on one of the many round stools present in the cafeteria reading a fairly large book, he slowly paced through the pages. He heard the principal summon various people, most likely assigning rooms and schedules. Deciding to patiently wait his turn he continued reading his book, the cover held a picture of bloodstained sunglasses sitting on a table, and a martini next to it. Looking up from his book he noticed a few more kids were present than before, ignoring them he continued reading.

When he does warm up to someone it's as if he becomes someone completely different, always cracking jokes, and even using sarcasm. Biography: Growing up in china Jared's parents sought a better life for their family. Finding the perfect job in France, and after discussing this with American tourists Jared's father jumped into this chance and planned their trip. After a few weeks of settling in and deciding on a house Jared's family set down, wasting no time in planning Jared's education they found that he was to take intense language classes at Kadic Junior High. Spending the his first year trying to master the local language he managed to learn a good understanding, though his accent still shows up in most sentences. Now in his 7th grade year Jared finds himself pressured even harder by his parents, no longer able to hide under the excuse of a language barrier Jared spends alot of his time reading or studying for his own amusement or his classes. Other: I don't understand how that two 9 thing works but i'll take your word for it.

"Yeah It'll be great, working with guys your age. Trust me your first year of being a lantern is hard, I didn't even have other lanterns to talk to." Kyle said as he and the newest human recruit stood on the moon staring at the Earth. "Well you were cool, and I'm sure I'll learn a lot from these guys. After all Batman picked them right?" Andrew said as he shrugged and raised his fist slightly. "Careful, you don't want to crash into the ground." The older man teased as he took off towards Earth, more specifically the Hall of Justice, leaving a wake of green energy behind him. Entering the building Kyle showed Andrew a special entrance into the back featuring a large library, a huge computer, and another secret compartment. "This is where I take off." Kyle waved a good-bye before flying out the same way he came. Stepping up to the teleporter he voiced his passcode and walked through, emerging into Mt.Justice. Looking around he immediately noticed the team in combat with Solomon Grundy of all people. "Grundy? How'd he get here?" Andrew questioned out loud to nobody in particular. Constructing a rifle in his hand, the rifle had a slim design with various panels around it, it's barrel was a cylinder with wires poking from the side connecting into the scope. Aiming his new weapon he aimed down his sights on Grundy and blasted him with a flurry of green beams.

I never finished the original show, but i'd like to join. Whenever you make the main post of course.

Well I guess you've only seen cartoons, which is fine, but that glow is a shield that's usually up. Though I can play it as him turning it off or just dimming his color. Appearance: Similar to Jon Stewards costume, with additions such as a visor (much like cyclops from the x-men), a single parted green "v" where a belt would be, and a gauntlet covering his hands fully. Out of costume he's about 5'11, black hair brushed to his left side, brown eyes, a generic caucasian face allowing him to easily blend in with earth crowds, and favors a plain colored t-shirt along with blue jeans. His strong will is what made him a viable choice for the ring in the first place, but his focus sometimes leaves his constructs weaker than he intended. brief history: It was a normal Friday, Andrew had stayed after to participate in his art club. But unknown to him and his school mates a battle between Kyle Rayner and a Sinestro corps member his school was damaged, Andrew who was inside in the mean time struggled to help as many of his school mates as possible from his teachers to his fellow mates. After Kyle had won he observed Andrew's fearlessness during this encounter and his willingness to help and reported it to the Guardians. The Guardians decided that most of their Earth based Green Lanterns were always to busy in space or dealing with personal problems to properly patrol 2814, and with recommendation from Kyle the Guardians deputized Andrew Wilkins. After hearing about Batman's team Kyle recommended Andrew to the Dark Knight, convincing him that it would be good practice and training for the boy.

Can i apply as a green lantern character, it wouldn't be anybody already known he would sort of be an oc person in the same group? I kinda have doubts since this is supposed to be a "covert" team but i thought i should ask before i make an app.
