Appearance: Quote: "Life is not fair. It never has been, and never will be." Name: Lucas "Luke" Fox. Alias: Batwing Age: 25 Occupation:He is the son of Wayne Enterprise's president and CEO, Lucius Fox. Skills & Abilities: Highly Intelligent: Luke is an extremely intellectually gifted young man. having graduated a year early with two degrees from one of the most prestigious institutions in the world, the Massachusetts Institution of Technology. Similar to his father, he is a highly skilled engineer Highly Skilled Combatant: Luke is an accomplished Mix Martial Arts fighter, and has participated in various point system based tournament fights since he was 16. He's traveled the globe learning from several different Martial Arts Masters, most notable of those include: Spear kung fu/ Shaolin Red Eagle Spear learned from Master Chu Chin Li Kubi Nage a Judo/Juijitsu throwing technique from Sensei Tsunemoto. Luke also has some knowledge and training of the armed spear Kung Fu, "Shaolin Red Eagle Spear," which was taught to him by Master Chu Chin Li. Equipment: Grappling gun: a projectile with a hook attached to a para-cord. The hook is meant to latch on to a surface so that the user can either swing, climb the rope, and/or retract the rope very rapidly, pulling the user toward the hooked surface. Daggers: specialized bata-rangs that are wielded in a fashion similar to brass knuckles. They are used for slicing and shredding and/or are tossed at opponents like ordinary bata-rangs. Vapor Bats: Mechanical bats designed to release sleeping gas to knockout large amounts of foe. Spray(s): Luke possess a number of sprays that vary from high scoville pepper spray to hallucinogenic gases. Batsuit: Dissimilar to other the Gothamites of Batman Inc., Luke Fox’s bat-suit is a full bodied armor, covering him from head to toe. Full face plate Bulletproof/shock resistant armor An interior skin that monitors vital signs and has medical repair capabilities. Cloaking mechanism Retractable wings: The wings are made of an unspecified material, and are capable of granting Luke flight by gliding along air currents. Personality: As he aged Luke and his father started to have clashing ideals as the younger Luke began having dreams of his own not centered around following in his father’s footsteps. Due to the clashes with his father Luke grew closer to his mother Tanya who was more understanding of his rebellion. He now strives to be his own man, to make his own path in life. Because of this Luke will not easily accept handouts or gifts of charity. History: Born to Lucius and Tanya after the couple had graduated from college he was the first addition to the Fox lineage. His birth was a source of unbelievable joy for his parents and Lucius in particular who dreamed his son would follow in his footsteps. Already living in Wayne Manor, Lucius served as Bruce’s legal guardian. As Luke aged Lucius began to convey his wishes for his son to follow in his footsteps, to become another engineer under Bruce Wayne’s employ. But Lucius had other ideas, he wanted to start his own business, Luke wanted to design and forge his own ideas. Eventually Lucius sought to make a deal with Luke, asking him to at least finish college. True to his word Luke Fox finished his education at MIT College, while picking up martial arts skills he would employ in tournaments or as a masked vigilante later in his life. But Luke’s college life was far from uneventful, getting mixed up in gang territory Luke and his friend Russel were forced to defend themselves. After this night Luke realized the rush he gained from fighting and would fight with Batman later on against the same gang. Luke continued to fight as a masked crime fighter, even saving Bruce Wayne at a party. Unbeknownst to Luke however the Batman had his eyes on him and was the Dark Knight’s first choice for the Batwing mantle, however Bruce had no wish to put his friend Lucius’s son in danger, instead of Luke Fox receiving the mantle it was David Zavimbe who received the suit. With the resignation of David Batman approached Luke with the suit and the chance to be Batwing. After his recruitment Batman trained Luke for months before deploying him with a power suit, designed to safeguard his identity and grant him protection, the irony lies with the fact that Luke’s father had made the suit. His first Mission sent him to Africa where he faced Lady Marabunta whom he eventually defeated before disobeying Batman and shutting down the warlord Lion-Mane. Returning from a bumpy but successful mission Luke came back to Gotham without notifying his family and started his own business, Foxtecha. Of course as another business surfaced, one with such an obvious name, Lucius knew his son had returned. Seeking to make amends with his son he attempted to find him, simply to speak to him. But on his way to Luke his father Lucius had been kidnapped, teaming up with Batman once more the duo hunted down the Marabunta and struck a major blow to the gang while rescuing their common friend. Discovering his mother had been kidnapped Luke as Batwing teamed up with the legionary. Her abduction left Batwing emotional and brutal as he tore through Gotham’s underground searching for his mother. Discovering his friend Russel, who had turned to using Venom for power, had been the mastermind behind the kidnapping Luke vowed revenge. Making his way through an army of thugs and gangsters Luke eventually found his old friend Russel, now known as Menace. Engaging each other in a deadly one on one Luke was able to apprehend his friend but not without serious damage to his own power suit, damage that would take days to repair. Instead of a simple repair job Luke saw it as a chance to use his own genius and improved the suit far beyond its previous abilities. As for his mother she left the family as the kidnapping had scared her, she felt that being rich drew attention to her and so she divorced her husband Lucius. Feeling alone Lucius sought to make amends with his only remaining family, his son Luke. Character Impressions: Batman: I don't know who he is under the mask, but that doesn't matter. This man fights for justice, and I'm happy to lend him my support. Catwoman: A petty thief. Nightwing: I think my predecessor worked with him before, beyond that I've never seen him. Oracle: The best tech support. There's no other disembodied voice I would rather hear. Red Hood: The gang member? Red Robin: He's on the Teen Titans right? Other than that I don't think we've met. Batwoman: I don't recall seeing her anywhere. Batgirl: I've never met her. Black Bat: A friend of Red Robin? Robin: Isn't there already a Robin? Story Arc: Unknown? Extra: Apparently he torrents movies, who knew?
"Thanks for not being suspicous." Jared mumbled silently to himself, looking down the elevator shaft Jareds' attention was suddenly draw to Josive as he pointed out something. Now looking over in his direction Jared saw the door and keypad as well. Briskly walking over to join him Jared noticed Josive pull out various tools and items. What didn't this guy bring? Jared asked himself as he walked up to the door as well and simply observed Josive and his items at work.
I kinda didn't want to do that because Xtreme controls lucius, but I suppose simple is best so i'll go with your suggestion. Thanks.
Alright, thanks Xtreme, this is when I paste my app in the characters tab right? Also does anybody have suggestions on how to introduce Luke?
Following Josive and Bella around the city exhausted Jared, after grabbing a few maps, wondering around a little longer the group finally reached their destination, much to Jared's relief. When the factory itself came into view Jared couldn't help but feel nervous, staring up at it from ground level he began to wonder if there was truly anything inside the abandoned structure. If anything, ever, in the universe gave off bad vibes, it would be this place. Finally entering the factory Jared noticed the ropes after the other two. Jared pondered actually attempting to climb the ropes but pushed that thought aside as the other two began to advance further. Glancing around Jared noticed cobwebs and various other objects hanging off of the high ceiling or sitting in dusty corners. Following Josive up to the elevator shaft Jared leaned carefully to get a better view, looking around the shaft he attempted to judge the distance between him and the maintenance ladder. Standing back up Jared walked away but as another kid jumped down onto the floor Jared jerked to the side slightly towards the elevator, stopping himself before he fell Jared wiped his forehead slightly. That was close. Looking at the boy and hearing his hypocritical question Jared could swear he had seen him before. "She's right you know. But we weren't the one's who followed a group of kids, you should answer us first." Jared said in an accusatory tone.
"That's what kinda what I said, about everyone getting angry, but I still agree." Andrew replied, deciding it would be best to move on Andrew resumed the previous conversation. "So we're still doing introductions right? You guys can call me GL, I'm sure you know the full name."
Still floating high above the others in the room, listening, Andrew decided to float down to ground level. "This is probably the worst meeting of any team. Period. With your attitude all you would manage to do is make everyone mad." Andrew said mockingly, as he was slightly annoyed by the new comer's attitude.
Jared waved Bella over as she approached. Jared panicked slightly as Jim, the gym teacher, approached questioning the groups destination. _Have to think of some excuse, I can't let this end so quickly! _Jared had already started thinking of foreigner related excuses to leave but Josive had already spoken up, much to Jared relief. After clearly thinking it over the man accepted the excuse and after, leaving his reasoning, walked off. Breathing a small sigh of relief Jared began to speak up. "Well now that we're all here. Let's get started?"
I remember that earlier that Tekno said he would do a time skip once everyone's had a chance to respond to the first class.
I guess it's better to say my guy was included. What happened in the ic was that another person noticed my ic error and went with it anyways, doesn't matter much just makes me feel weird.
