Ahhh, sorry for disappearing for a bit! I'll have a post up later tonight.
Hey, guys! How are you all doing? :D

Any other relationships we need to establish?
Name: Ryuzaki Reina

Age: 13

Trainer Class: Battle Girl

Physical Description:
Barely pushing 4'8 (and that's with her squaring her shoulders for effect) and slim from her daily dojo training, Reina likes to think of herself as fun-sized and definitely not short. She's got a pretty big presence for someone so… fun-sized, though. It's in the cocksure way she carries herself, head held high and confidently, her steely gray eyes alight with resolve and a hint of mischief. Reina has a mess of auburn hair that reaches all the way to her lower back, often pulled up into a ponytail so it's out of the way. It's probably more practical to cut it short, but she's kind of attached to her long hair.

Brightly colored jumpers and rompers make up most of her wardrobe. She dresses for comfort and ease of movement, but takes care not to sacrifice style too much. Her sneakers are worn and in desperate need of replacement, but they're her favorite and she'll wear them for as long as she can. The pink ribbon she uses to tie her hair is a good-luck charm given by her mother—it's something that is always on her person.

Personality:
Reina is like a thunderstorm: wild, unpredictable, and dynamic. More than anything, it is her whims that drive her and passion that fuels her. She is ruled chiefly by her emotions and tends to get swept up in the moment, rarely thinking things through when she becomes invested. It's a fatal flaw that is only exacerbated by her playful recklessness. Reina is never halfhearted in her endeavors, and just as she likes to do everything big, she feels everything deeply. If she's happy, she is big grins and infectious laughter. If she's angry, she is explosive lightning and thunder. If she's upset, she is blubbering tears and petulant pouts. Reina does away with pretenses and is unabashedly herself, which means she's blithe and charming at her best, and belligerent and vindictive at her worst. Her temper can flare over minimal provocations, and her go-to solution is usually her fists.

In her family, it's tradition to set off to see the world and grow together with your Pokémon, to find your own path. True strength can only come from experience and trial, but it is a concept she has yet to fully grasp. Self-assured Reina is under the belief that she can accomplish anything with sheer force of will (or just sheer force), but the truth is she is woefully unprepared for the journey ahead of her. All she's ever known is the comfort of the family dojo, and while she can handle kicks and punches thrown her way, she's never had to worry about much else. Although she may be fierce and resilient, at her core is a guileless bleeding heart too eager to protect and too easy to deceive.

Background:
Up until her thirteenth birthday, Reina's life has more or less revolved around the family dojo. She may have lived in the sprawling metropolis that was Saffron City, but the dojo was where she spent most of her time, both as a student and her father's sometimes unwilling assistant. Her childhood was really just a haze of sweat and tears from her progressively intense training, and she has since lost track of how many trainers she has met that have sought to test their strength.

Out of the thousands and thousands of matches she has been spectator to, Reina best remembers those that have ended in tears. Happy tears, unhappy tears, frustrated tears. She may not have been the most disciplined student, something her father (slash dojo master) continues to scold her about, but matches like those have effectively spurred her to always give it her all. Reina hasn't got a clue what the future has in store for her, but her only wish is that it is something that she loves so much that it can drive her to tears.

As per the Ryuzaki family tradition, Reina needed to see the world now that she has turned thirteen. There was only so much that she can learn in the dojo, and there was no better teacher than experience. With her trusted Pokémon by her side, she must discover what lay beyond the walls of the dojo, face the challenges that come her way, and eventually find the path she was meant to follow. So far, Reina has been taking it all in stride, but her dad seems to be having trouble letting go. He had years to prepare, having set up this process with Professor Oak years ago (just as he did for her older brother and what he will do for her younger one). She was certain he'd have been excited to have his most troublesome student out of his hair, but he hasn't stopped sniffling ever since they arrived at Pallet Town.

Pokémon:
Chansey. Kit-Kat has been Reina's constant companion ever since she had her first big injury (she broke her leg when she was eight, after attempting a move that was clearly beyond her skill level). Kit-Kat was a stray Chansey that had somehow made its way to the Saffron General Hospital once upon a time, and has since become its unofficial mascot. Stern and a big worrywart, Kit-Kat couldn't keep her eyes off the rambunctious child racing around the hospital in her wheelchair. After spending weeks together, the two of them have become inseparable.

Inventory:

  • A Chansey-shaped backpack with her change of clothes and sleeping bag
  • 3x Pokéballs
  • Muscle Band
  • Assorted snacks
  • ₽760

PC Stash:

  • Karete Gi

I hope it's alright that I'm making a CS as well! I'll be out for a bit, but I should have it done by today.
I'm interested, as well! I was thinking either a Battle Girl or an Idol (that is, if they're allowed) would be fun to play. :D
Hoping to get a post out tonight. Where did everyone else go? :o
Hope it's not too late to express interest! All the White Walker action in today's GoT has kickstarted my zombie apocalypse craving. :p
Present! Sorry I disappeared for a while--got super busy during spring break.
