Current Ever had that moment were you've just lost a battle of wills with your dog and think to yourself, "maybe I should be the one sleeping on the floor"? I have. It's oddly liberating.

My Lit Lecturer used Matt Fraction's Hawkeye run to display the effect of narratology in class today. It's the first thing he's spoken about all term that I've actually read.

How good is the Punisher in Netflix's Daredevil series? "Just some guys who are about to walk into a diner for the last time." That line is so manly it could make a toddler sprout a beard.

The Justice League trailer is giving me mixed emotions. On the one hand, I desperately want to get hyped. On the other, Snyder and co have burnt me too many times in the past. I'm a conflicted mess.

What? The Lethal Weapon tv show isn't utter garbage at all, instead being an enjoyable watch. What the fuck is the world coming to?

@JonxlatheLion - Well I did ask you not to insta-hit, so please edit it.
I don't mind it when it's small, yet emotionally significant, things like what Johnny has done. That seemed like an in-character action, rather than just soloing and one-shotting a powerful enemy, while also proceeding to disrupt another foe. However Luthor does have a shield in play, so Molotov shouldn't be able to touch him. What about melting Luthor's Nobel peace prize? They would then go on to release the single I am a leaf in the wind - watch how I soar. Yeah, Twilight can join, but she has to be a backing singer. Her moaning about never being recognized for her accomplishments would be fantastic.
YES! Hair band was my first choice, but I wasn't sure if you'd go for that so I kept quiet. Man, this is why we're friends. They're going to shatter the charts when they release their first album "Barking up the wrong Tree"
Man, that did not end the way Question pictured it!
@Jonxlathelion - I don't know if you missed it, but in the ooc I asked for no insta-hits. Also, Warpath had previously fired a series of shotgun rounds at Ace. Please edit your post accordingly.
Looks good to me Wraith. On a related note, I was thinking how cool it would be if Fenrir and Thorn eventually took a break from the team and formed an eighties rock band named "Bark As Bad As The Bite." They'd go on tour, and solve mysteries while selling out stadiums. I'll give Kalbamicus, Jonxlathelion and Cantide time to respond before I post again.
I am, and probably always will be, someone who regular people will always struggle to understand. Admittedly I could try to make things easier for them by forcing myself to communicate with them in a fashion they are more accustomed to, but I absolutely refuse to degrade myself in such a way as that would necessitate me speaking in animal like grunts. My metaphorical high horse does have its own disadvantages though, the aforementioned difficulty in making myself understood chief amongst them. At this stage in my life I have grown used to the myriad responses the plebeians choose when I confound them. Some become jealous, realising my intellect will always tower above theirs. Others grow annoyed, attributing my unique skills and attitude to little more than fulfilment for some superiority complex I suffer from, (The truth is I do have a superiority complex, but I would hardly describe it as a bad thing, especially as I am superior.). Some few show respect for me, which is the preferred, though sadly less used, response. Occasionally the response is physical violence. Since the dawn of time man, and woman, has had a depressing predilection for employing violence when confronted with something new and unknown. Unfortunately I usually qualify in both categories, but despite how often I am subjected to violence I am never quite prepared for it. That's my excuse for getting slapped, and I shall stick to it. “Ooooouuuf!” is the noise I make as Tea's hand makes connection with my face, powerful enough to make me stagger a few paces. My own hands goes to my face, probing the impact zone. She might have broken one of my teeth, the left rear-bicuspid to be exact. A peril of being struck by a woman in a metal suit. Deduction; That. Hurt. I make a point of straightening my tie and lapels, presentation being key after all. A catch a glimpse of Armoury striding away down the hall. Note to self, her reaction bears investigating. . . Though perhaps I will allow her some time to 'cool off' before delving to deeply. “Interesting.” I mutter.
He'd be surprised to find out that he's considered a 'friend'.
Ha ha When I originally wrote the post I thought to myself "Belle will definitely get out of this, the kid always finds a way to disobey the adults and get in on the action" but now I kinda want to see her stay trapped, and to hulk out and wreck the place. The team gets back to find her sitting calmly at the epicentre of a thoroughly trashed carrier, like a puppy that gets left at home on its own and wrecks the living room and pees on the carpet.
Ok, that's the opening of our scrapfest. I'll be controlling the NPC's, so not insta-hits please. And remember that these are accomplished villains, who are well used to working together. We're unlikey to have an easy win, if we win at all. @Dragonbud - I know Fenrir locked Belle on the plane, but I wouldn't be surprised if she managed to break out and join the fight lol. Have fun guys.
