the picture! Thats the hardest part, no lie. I can spend hours looking for JUST THE RIGHT PIC for my character! LOL

Not necessarily. This shouldn't be taken as an opportunity to give up on looking for cartoon-esque images. At most it would be a very last resort on if it's truly absolutely impossible to find other art, and will be judged on a case-by-case basis.
As always, GMs will reserve the right to ask for a different image. We'll assist in finding an appropriate image if necessary.

Real talk though, it's a really hard aesthetic to find images for so I think it would be okay.

I asked this in a chat with another RP I am in, but figured I would get opinions here as well. Given that I am already intending to move away from what I am used to I would like opinions on whether or not I should attempt to broaden my RP skill set even further by creating a female character.
Go for it! It's always good to expand your horizons and try new things! I suffer from falling into a comfort zone too sometimes. lol
