The Guardians sat in the Element Temple, their discussion hostile and threatening.

"We will not allow Fire to break the pact.." Frost murmured, her tail flicking impatiently. "He was already influenced Sun and Bronze to join him in his lust for power."
Nebula growled. "I will not let him harm those in our view... Saints only know that the one's in their view are in danger..." he said darkly.
The other Guardians murmured to each other, the main conflict still hanging in the air.
Moon, the youngest, spoke up. "Sun has been wavering in his decision.... If you would like, I can try to persuade my brother not to do it.." she said, shifting where she sat nervously.
Desert nodded, his large tail tapping the ground. "If you would be so kind, please do so..."

Jack walked through the caverns that he called home, the cold underground air nipping at his skin. His quiver of arrows hung on his belt and his long bow was hanging on hus shoulder. He crouched down at an underground stream and watched the eyeless fish swim around.

A voice could be heard, a woman's voice, singing, the sound was resonating off the cavern walls.

♪ Oh, misty eye of the mountain, below... Keep careful watch o'er my brothers' souls... And should the sky be filled with fire and smoke.... Keep watching even after the sun goes down....♪

If this should end in fire, then we shall all burn together, watch the flames climb high into the night..... Calling out, farther up, sit by and we will, watch the flames burn on and on, the mountain side... ♪

One hundred years ago...

Fire. It's bright, flickering flames reaching to the sky as it made it's way up the mountain side. Liquid and frozen water alike rained from the sky as the guardians of the mountains breathed their elements to tame the blaze.
As this ferocious battle between elemental guardians took place, humans, in their protected cities, cowered in their homes and shops, fearing the reprecussions of this miniature war. They prayed in their large stone cathedrals for protectors, men's saviors, to rise from the cities to make peace with the guardians.

The war raged on for what seemed like eternity...

Today, brave souls have come forth to make the dangerous journey to the Dragon's Mountain to seek peace and conclusion to this hundred(+) year war

Cities

Karodalle - A city by the sea, it's ports give way to mass trade and transportation. A fishing city.
On the North side of Dragon's Mountain.

Hillfand - A city surrounded by forest, it's walls provide protection from animals and enemies alike. A hunter-gatherer city.
On the East side of Dragon's Mountain.

Ceroville - A city undergound in deep caverns. It's underground rivers and gated cavern openings that keep large predators out make it easy to live in. The people there hunt the cavern animals for food and the underground water sources are a habitat to the eyeless and colorless fish. A humble secluded city.
On the South side of Dragon's Mountain.

Varinselli - A city on a hill with a great view of all that is around it. With it's high vantage points and 100% visibility if everything, this city is easily one of the most aware cities in all of Quintoma, and also one of the most prepared. An armory city.
On the West side of Dragon's Mountain.

Pretty much what

Your character will begin his/her journey, from their city in the country of Quintoma, to the Dragon's Mountain, where the Guardians of the elements are debating further than what they already have for a hundred years, and the spiritual creatures are considering destroying the pact they have with the humans. Your character will meet many friends, enemies, and spirits alike on their journey, and will, if you'd like, encounter other people's characters on their way.
