Kyle smirked and shrugged. "Hey, I gave you the option." he laughed. "The real question is, why did you accept the offer?"

Kyle smirked. "Of course... What did you think? That I hated you?" he chuckled, looking over at him.

Fionna hesitated as she looked down at the dragonite in her hand. "Uh...." she loooked outside. She smiled. It shouldn't be too bad. "Okay." she said cheerily.

Maridella turned her gentle gaze towards Samuel. "Samuel, why must you be so serious all the time.." she laughed slightly. She stood, walking over to him. She tucked her white hair behind her ear and smiled at him. "Will you do me a favor and make sure Daniel is okay? Some of the other children are saying he's been acting...strange.." she said.

Daniel was under a tree outside in the courtyard.

Kura saw Ray fly off and smirked. "There he goes.." he laughed.

Ari saw David and gasped. "What is he doing here?" she murmured, looking over at him.

Maridella smiled. "I need you to help me get your son on our side....He's very powerful....."

Daniel came back, another boy behind him. The other boy was all wrapped up. "Mother..... I have came to return the kit...." he murmured, lowering his face to look at the ground.

Maridella smiled. "Go ahead...but I need to speak with you.... Mr.William and I will need your help."

Daniel nodded and went to put the kit back. When he did, he nodded to the other boy, sending him away. He came over to her. "Yes, Maridella?" he gasped and covered his face. "I...I mean.. mother... Mother...." he said, looking at the floor.

Maridella smiled and stood. "It's okay my child...." she laughed slightly, laying a hand on his head. She looked at Greg. "You will help Mr.William with something very important for me....."

Daniel nodded slightly. "Yes mother..."

Kyle smirked and leaned back in his chair. "are you okay?"

Maridella smiled slightly. "I know.... but you knew what you were getting into when you joined us..." she said, leaning forawrd in her chair, leaning her chin on her hands. Her silver hair slid down on her shoulders as she did, and she smiled. "...I know it's hard for you...."

Kyle smirked. "And I'm still asking myself why I let you.... maybe it's because I find you........ interesting...." he said, schuckling a little.

Kyle smirked as he looked over at Konsa. He cleared his throat. "So why'd you do it?" he asked, sitting down in a chair.

Maridella smiled. "Greg....he's your son... he's been looking for you... maybe you can...." her voice trailed off as she looked over at the door. "Who is it?" she asked.

Daniel glanced up. "M....Mother... some of the others began to fight in the courtyard..... One of them has a fractured finger.... Do you have a kit in here?" he asked.

Maridella smiled. "Of course, Daniel... It's in the bottom drawer..." she said, pointing at a set of drawers.

Daniel nodded and walked over there quickly, opening the drawer. He grabbed the kit and went back over to the door. He turned to her. "Thank you, mother...." he murmured, bowing.

Maridella smiled sweetly. "Now off with you..." she said. After he had gone, she laughed slightly and shook her head. "they're growing stronger by each day, Greg..... Soon it will be time to train them more in-depth..." she said, looking up at him with her ice blue eyes.

Maridella leaned back in her chair. "So how did it go with the young one........ David?" she asked, smiling sweetly. "I hope you weren't too harsh with him.... We need him for later....."

Maridella called Greg. She sighed and brushed her silver hair out of her face. "I hope he did not do too much damage to the poor thing.." she murmured, leaning back in her chair.

Daniel walked to the door of Maridella's office. "Mother?" he said softly, his head bowed as he waited for her. Maridella has always been there for him, and he respected her.
