Daniel slid down from the roof, landing next to Konsa. He tilted his head to the side, looking at Konsa. "Oh...you're awake..." He smiled slightly. "Good."

Ari grabbed his wrist. "Fat chance!" she growled, pulling him down the hall. "If you think I'm just going to leave you here, you've got another thing coming!" she said, kicking open one of the doors so she could haul him through.
Most of Daniel's drawers were empty. Except for one. One was filled with pictures of him and Kyle when they were kids and small things like dried up flowers and broken bracelets. There was one picture buried in the bottom of the drawer with writing on the bottom that said. 'To my closest friend. -Love,Kyle' The picture was of them sitting out on the side of a hill, looking over a lake at the boats in the distence, their height difference fairly obvious. Daniel was about 3 inches shorter than Kyle, and Kyle's shoulders were a bit broader than Daniel's.
Daniel was sitting on the roof, staring at the stars. "I'm sorry, Kyle....." he whispered.
