when Deyja said "I don’t want to die,” Innocentia started to cry "i don't know if i can do this" she cried "i'm so scared Will"
she looked out at the wall, she didn't want to die either, she didn't know if she could handle this, the monsters scared her and she didn't know if she would be able to run when Mark broke the wall, she was afraid she would just freeze.
"if something happens, you ... you won't leave me ... will you?" she asked it in general to all 3 of the others, sniffling slightly.

she watched as he added dabs of white paint to his painting, it was very pretty and quite realistic.
“There. Let’s wait for it to dry a bit and I’ll help you carry it back to where you’re staying.” Leroy said, stopping painting again.
"thank you, that's very nice of you"
“Yup. Smack in the middle of all that. Not my way of having fun but… Well, it wasn't all that bad.” Leroy said, putting his palette down.
"i kind of wish i was a part of it, i feel a little bad taking a vacation because of something i didn't really have a part in" she winked "not very bad though", she smiled.
“You okay out in the sun like this? From what I know, you seem like an albino and I thought they were bad with sunlight.” he said.
Oona smiled wider "your concern is sweet, i'm not albino though, my people always look like this, and we live in the ocean so the sun doesn't bother me too much"
she smiled looking out at the ocean, it was calming to see the waves shrink as they approach, slowly working it's way to the shore then back out to sea in one big circle of nature, a calm smile spread on her face as she watched. then she turned back to Leroy to hear his reply.

"for the last part of it" she said, brushing a strand of hair over her shoulder "i only got there towards the end, lots of panicked people were between me and it, i assume you were there?"

Alluria was walking through the marketplace, all the stalls closing now when a hand wrapped around her wrist and pulled her. she let out a startled gasp and conjured a flame in the other hand before she looked to see it was Old Hattie.
"Hattie? you scared me half to death!" Alluria said, extinguishing the flame.
"you should be scared" Hattie whispered.
"Hattie? what's wrong?" Alluria asked, putting a hand out towards Baxter to calm him, as he had started to growl.
"i too can get places i shouldn't Alluria and i heard what that warrior said, you are in grave danger Alluria"
Alluria tried to think of someway to calm the old woman down before she gave herself a heart attack, so she said "they'd have to catch me first Hattie" then smiled.
but that only seemed to upset her more "don't you understand how important this is?!"
"Hattie, let go" Alluria said in a demanding voice.
the woman only then seemed to realized she was still holding the woman's wrist and that her grip had been getting tighter. she let go, Alluria pulled her slightly red hand to her chest.
"i'm gonna be fine Hattie, they don't even know i exist, at the most through gossip, and they aren't likely to hear gallean gossip, now go calm down Hattie, i'll see you tomorrow"
