Rae looked back at the girl "don't worry Books" she looked forward again, scanning the trees, unfortunately she still couldn't see very well "stay behind me, i'll think of something" she looked at Muse and called out again, he was probably completely unconscious, already. she looked around, trying to keep herself between the girl and the forest. Rae was terrified but if something was going to attack them she'd try her best to protect the smaller girl now that their protector was out of the picture at least temporarily. her heart pounded and she took a deep breath.she saw movement out of the corner of her eye and looked around, panicked. she really didn't want to scare books but she was pretty sure the situation was already past that point.
