but for her eyes, she doesn't actually use them, their always active but she wears a veil to cover it up so you can't see her eyes

Oona was half-tempted to stop him but let out a frustrated sigh and turned and left, deciding he wasn't worth it.
she got to the closest bathroom and tried her best to get rid of most of the fruit and juice now covering her head and discovered that the fruit had in fact left various colored stains in her hair, but despite what she had said earlier it wouldn't be that hard to get rid of.

she turned and leaned against the wall, musing to herself why on earth she had been so mean to the man "what on earth made me act like that?" she muttered "i was really mean, maybe i should go apologize" but for some reason the thought reminded her of a defeat and the self-conscious part of her brain shot it down "i can apologize later, i need a shower, badly" so she pushed herself off the wall and decided to go figure out where her room is.

Andromeda:

Andromeda approached the school gates with apprehension "am i late?" she muttered. the gates opened and she was allowed into the school. for a second she paniced, there were so many people around!
she took a deep breath and kept her head down as she walked slowly forward, she smelt something really good and followed it until she found herself in an even more packed room and brought her hands to her chest as she walked. she watched the other people silently as they went about their business, she saw a girl who's head was covered in fruit stalk out of the room, "i wonder what that was about" she saw people going in a line through what looked like some kind of buffet and after a little while she joined the line and just got some simple things, a few fruit and some ice cream.

when she had gotten out of line she looked around, she had no idea where to go, there were people everywhere and, while she wanted friends she was scared to go near them, for fear of turning them to stone, she knew this was foolish but she still felt it, so she decided she wouldn't eat here and she headed with her tray out of the room to a nearby location that appeared to be a garden. she set the tray beside her on the bench and she looked around and realized there were other people here, not many though, there appeared to be a girl with a rather large trumpet talking to a boy in armor a little ways away. she didn't approach them, she had always enjoyed seeing people interact, since she would never really be capable of that.

Name: Andromeda Barker (prefers Andy or Ann)
Age: 18

Species/Race: Gorgan
Powers: if someone looks directly at her eyes they will turn to stone (if they don't look directly at her eyes then they won't get turned to stone, she constantly wears either a viel or a pair of sunglasses so people won't be able to see her eyes), can speak to an exercise minor control over snakes (sort of more persuasion then control), has complete control over the snakes on her head but if she's doesn't specifically tell them to do something (telepathically) they pretty much just reflect her attitude, if she's restless they won't sit still, if she's angry they'll start hissing and the like.
Weaknesses: she is mortal, anything that can kill a normal hero can kill her too. especially weak against cold (since she is in fact cold-blooded, since she's kind of part snake in a way.
Personality: very shy, is friendly and wants to have friends but doesn't know how to go about it, socially awkward, kind, often returns to her Greek roots in appearance and actions as well as speech.
Background: Andromeda is in fact Medusa descendant, the stoning powers skipped a generation so her mother thought she had been normal and when she had a baby that turned a nurse to stone when she finally opened her eyes, she shunned her and locked her up, home-schooling her and always teaching her there was something wrong with her. and as she was never allowed to look anyone, even her own mother in the eyes, she now has trouble doing that, seeing it as Taboo, despite the fact her gaze won't turn people to stone as long as she has her veil on. she was sent there when she got an invitation to study and her mother was happy to get rid of her.

guys! i need help deciding
a) a gorgon (don't worry i have precautions to stop her from turning everyone to stone) ;)
b) or a cat demon (with 9 lives so we can get some comic relief out of her if anything serious is to arise)

i can't decide
