Maybe they are a cat lover instead of a dog/wolf lover. Hmm...a tough captain who secretly loves cats but she pretends that she doesn't? Or maybe she does like all animals but has to keep up the tough gal persona. Or probably they truly don't get along well at the start. And maybe she's a halfkin cat? So the rivalry is even larger.If your character was born with magic (her being a civilian I see no mention of her getting the goddess cells implanted), perhaps my captain goes over to her place to check her out because this is an extreme rarity and she would like to investigate.

Oona smiled "i'll be ok, just..." she had to think of a way to downgrade it for a second "i just need some water too, i'll go get you some, alright? i'll be right back"

and she stood and managed to find another glass in the infirmary and returned to the fountain to fill it.

she returned, and carefully held the cup "i'm not sure what to do now, can you drink it on your own, or...?"

Innocentia was confused, far too young to understand what was going on. she saw the older boy get dragged away,
she was scared, after the few boys that had been behind him, it would be her turn
she didn't even know what they were looking for.

the other boys went and nothing happened, they just walked right off the other side of the stage, like everything was normal.
it was her turn. She looked at her parents who gave her reassuring smiles and nodes. that calmed her down a bit.

she did as the monsters told her too, she sat down, he put the weird thing on her head, as they had everyone else and she stared at the funny picture, everything was fine and she was about to go when the machine started to make noise, and she got scared again, it had only done that for the boy they had taken.

before she knew it she was lifted and taken away, blind-folded and someone appeared to be searching her pockets and the like.

"i don't understand" she said, no answer.

Oona - infirmary

after she allowed the bigger man, she had figured out his name was Crash, or at least everyone called him that, to take zivon she didn't feel quite so bad and she quickly followed the girl out of the building.

it was getting dark so at least she didn't have to worry about the sun making her any worse.

they made it to the infirmary without any incident, she wanted to make sure zivon was alright before she went and dealt with her problems. at that point she realized that both of the other too, Crash and the girl, were hurt more then she had thought. she hurriedly filled a glass she found with water as the 2 explored cabinents and apparently were deciding whether to stitch up the girl's wounds.

after getting Zivon into the bed. the 2 talked for a little while, Oona just sat by Zivon's bed, forcing herself to take small careful drinks from the glass, so as not to hurt herself worse, she felt a little better but she knew she would have to get to some natural water soon.

Zivon started to wake up.
"hey" she said, quietly.

after a minute or 2 the others decided they were going to stitch up the girl's arm, so Oona turned her attention to Zivon
"hey, you aren't in any pain are you? do you need anything? i can get you some water"
