Current So I'm not cool enough to do it, but I think a Pokemon based Nation RP would be cool. Jussayin.

Today is a day of sadness. It is the day I quit partaking of the drink of my lord and savior, Lord Coffee Bean. I shall be very grumpy for the next three weeks.

I'm all about that fantasy. I can mix it with other genres, such as sci-fi, slice of life, etc. but I generally stick to fantasy settings. As long as something supernatural or mystical is afoot, I'm interested. I generally like adventure, exploration, and conversation more than action and fighting in my roleplays as long as everyone is having a good time. I enjoy tabletop RPGs such as Dungeons & Dragons, Scion, Dungeon World, and Ryuutama.

Wow last night just was just one of those nights huh? XD I went berry picking in Alpha Sapphire. I've never tried a Nuzlocke challenge, to be honest. I just sort of go with the flow and enjoy the game as I feel... But you know, that's probably why I'm twenty hours in and still at only 3 gym badges. xD Kinda reminds me of Skyrim in that sense... 90 hours in and I'm still futzing around Whiterun... Some sort of trend? xD I just go tear the wings off of butterflies and pick up flowers in the mountains in Skyrim, like some sort of odd sadistic hippy. Also, I play WoW with my boyfriend. My mom also plays, so I play with her. It's a way for me to spend time with them :3 It's not so bad, if you have people you like playing with you. Edit: @Xander I'm going to be writing up Corivana today, so don't worry! I'm not gonna leave you hanging, I promise!
Her long, silvery blonde hair began to come out of it's tight french braid as she twirled round and round on top of a stone stage erected somewhere not too far from the center of Nouvelle, her bow streaking across her violin as she made [whimsical music](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b3KUyPKbR7Q#t=14). Her laugh accompanied the medley as she danced carefree on the stage. Little by little, people began to gather at the foot of the stone steps to watch the odd display, some whispering about the indecency of a "newcomer" playing so near to the center of Nouvelle, while others enjoyed the tune and even danced along. On the roof of a nearby inn Neva perched, his body stiff with purpose as he watched over **his** Sophia. If anyone so much as touched her, the articuno would have to rip them in half. An odd turn of events brought Sophia to this moment of jovial abandonment as her articuno gleamed predatory glances at the people below, though none seemed to notice as it lurked above... ### Sophia Skyheart & Neva **Nouvelle - Lugere** Arctic wind buffeted Sophia as she clung hard to Neva's back to stave off of the majority of the chill. _'Even through my Mark, it's so cold!'_ She thought fiercely, believing for sure she was going to die riding Neva through these harsh skies. _'What on earth was I thinking planning our journey like this!?'_ From beneath her, Neva sensed his trainer's discomfort and began to descend into the trees of the woods surrounding Nouvelle, to help block the gusts of glacial air from reaching her. He wove through the trees expertly, lightly, making sure not to jostle Sophia too much. That was when Sophia began to hear the melodies wafting out from a large city just head. Neva curved hard, banking on the edge of Nouvelle as it sprang into existence before them. Sophia's eyes nearly popped from her skull as she took in the breath-taking view of this wondrous city, and her ears nearly died in delight from the endless music thrumming faintly below. She gestured for Neva to land on the branches of a sturdy tree not far from the city as she pulled one of her maps from inside a pouch on her saddle. She looked it over, mouthing off names as she examined it, **"Stardrop... Icegrove... _Nouvelle!_ Neva, we went the wrong way, we're off course from reaching the Keirnan Estates... uhh, what is it? Oh, Snow Crest, yeah! But..."** Sophia looked over what she could see of the city of arts from where Neva had perched. An odd emotion welled within her. **"Neva, these people... This city... I will be the Lady of it one day... How is it so big?! I knew that it was one of our biggest, but this..."** The map began to crinkle and shake as her own hands shook. Neva gave out a concerned cry, glancing back at her. _'How can I possibly rule over them and keep them safe?'_ The thought was almost debilitating. Her shoulders suddenly felt much heavier, as if an oppressive force was heaping upon them. The world began to sink in on her, staining her vision dark with it's vileness as she waded deeper into the deep abyss of worry. A fierce eye came into her view, breaking her out of her wallowing. Neva was looking at her, an expression that was so worried across his face that Sophia smiled instinctively to ease it. **"I'm sorry, my Neva. I shouldn't become downtrodden by ignorance, I just need to cure it. We're going to visit the Cheviots, I do believe they are the earls of this city. I _need_ to know more about my people."** A half hour later, Sophia strong-armed Neva into dropping her off at the city boundaries with only her violin in hand, as it seemed fitting, and a small portion of their money on her person - just in case. She was going to inquire where she might find one of the Cheviot House among the people here, but as reality would have it, people are jealous, devious beings. Neva kept a close watch, stalking among the rooftops of buildings. **"You need to know where the Cheviot estate is? Don't make me laugh, fledgling! Go play your jokes elsewhere or move up the ranks like everyone else."** A flute player that resembled a snorlax more than a human told her with a cold look in his eyes. And that wasn't the only resident to tell her something similar, many people, young or old, mirrored his sentiments with nearly the same standoffish reaction. She didn't lose heart though, and as she made her way to the center of Nouvelle the people became more distinguished in their replies. **"My dear, you must be lost. The Cheviot Manor is up the hill, but heaven knows you wont be reaching it so easily. Work, work, work your way up!"** An old lady wearing a pristine, floor length fur coat and heavy make-up told her in a lecturing voice. **"How do I work my way up here?"** Sophia asked, looking around at the milling musicians fiddling with their instruments, and artists with their paint brushes flying across the canvasses in front of them. **"Why, young lady, you must play."** The distinguished old woman gestured with a hand to Sophia's violin. As they made their farewells, Sophia looked down at her own instrument. **"I should have thought of it... but working my way up just to meet the Cheviots?"** She let out a sigh, then slapped her cheek with one hand. **"I'm gonna do it!"** She set to looking for a free spot where she could play her violin, someplace appropriate. **"A stage would be fitting, I should think..."** She mused, wandering through the city. Nearby, Neva hopped from roof to roof, sometimes setting flocks of pokemon resting there scurrying to the skies, fleeing the predatory legendary pokemon. And a stage she eventually found. People seemed to almost avoid the stone plateau in the middle of a circular square deep within Nouvelle as if it were a pit of vipers. Sophia unknowingly ascended the steps without truly realizing what she was doing as she set herself up to play. People were pointing up at her and whispering among themselves, and those people brought more people who stood far back from the stage to whisper and stare. She felt stage fright for a split moment, then shook it off. She had played for nobility and in front of the people of Skyheart Villas before, she was no stranger to a crowd. She refused to let herself succumb to that sort of folly! And with that she flew into her medley, quickly forgetting that she even had an audience in the first place. _Her long, silvery blonde hair began to come out of it's tight french braid as she twirled round and round on top of a stone stage erected somewhere not too far from the center of Nouvelle, her bow streaking across her violin as she made [whimsical music](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b3KUyPKbR7Q#t=14). Zavier) **Haven Port, Pokemon Center - Ayero** Corivana barked out a laugh in her delight watching the vulpix cleverly extricate itself from the cage. _'So it understands, after all!'_ The world was so vast, the creatures inhabiting it so varied and colorful that it made a smile come to her face as she stared down at the pokemon rubbing against her leg. **"Yer a clever mutt, I'll give ye that! We do be about to escape on the back of me friend, ye see? She _should_ be down 'ere soon, and we do be leavin' this prison. After all..."** She sat on her haunches to give the vulpix a pet along it's sleek back. **"After all, pokemon are _meant_ to be free."** All of the sudden, an intense rumble took hold of the pokemon center, shaking the glass fixtures in their casements as the walls rattled. Corivana lips quirked mischievously at the vulpix and she swooped it up into her arms as the roof of the room they were in gave way to the enormous form of Kyogre. The legendary sea pokemon barreled through the room, letting out a joyous cry as she saw Corivana. **"Many 'pologies 'bout the mess, ladies!"** The pirate called up to the nurses as she ran and leapt unto Kyogre's back with Zavier tucked under her arm like a football. Her laughter rang out behind the trio as Kyo burst through the doors of the pokemon center with enough force to blow the doors off of the hinges, and her laughter sailed through the air even still as the pokemon took them higher and higher into the sky, far above the city of Haven Port. Below them, her home began to look small and insignificant. And even their famed farms took on a toy-like appearance from these heights. **"Tell me, ye little vulpix, do ye want to go on an adventure with me and Kyo 'ere? Or do ye want to make port back on the solid ground, where life do be stale and restricting?"** She asked, placing Zavier carefully on the back of Kyogre. **"Only ye can decide where yer destiny do lay, afterall."** Corivana's amber eye burned with intensity as she looked down at Zavier, her mouth posed in it's characteristic half-mocking, half-amused smirk. The wind pulled at her brunette hair and at the flamboyant feathers coming from her pirate's hat. Just as fast as Kyogre had sailed into the sky, she descended at the far outskirts of Haven Port, near a cluster of forest that ran alongside the great river that led all the way to the capital of Ayero. **"One bark for yes, two for no - decide if ye do be sailin' with us, matey."**
The character's tab is awesome! I'm gonna be happy if this fixes the site's issues :D It was getting hard trying to make sure I always had an open tab of the latest replies so I could write while the site was down. x.x Btw, I'm dyslexic and the slowest writer ever... a wonderful combination! ;3 I have Sophia's post written, but I feel like it's heavily reliant on a reply from Pirouette. Sorry! ;^; <3 I can change it if need be. I was up late last night and unable to sleep so I just wrote XD edit: holy bad coding! My post is a mess, gimme a minute to fix it~~ ieeeyaaaa, so embarassing :<
@Xander If they weren't prepared for the eventuality that a fire type pokemon knew a move from a different type, yeah. The pokemon could definitely break out of the cage, for sure. The cages themselves wouldn't be flimsy otherwise, as they're made with pretty good craftsmanship. :3 I don't mind if you make the nurses rush out either, all is A-OK. I'll respond to your post probably tomorrow (or tonight if it's possible)

I'll probably never drink. Ever. unless maybe Rum~ Yo-ho a pirates life fer me~So, Anyone gonna post in the Ladyl woods anytime soon? I wanna get some Levi posts up~And possibly have Cyrus do something. Kinda not sure what I want to do with him for the moment.......I need to lay of the sweets.Like the chocolate ice cream and cookies I just ate.Hello, insomnia and no sleep tonight~

Hahahaha yeah, that doesn't work! XD I try to get him to do other stuff. I bought him Dragon Age Inquisition, Styx Master of Shadows, and Dark Souls 2 for Christmas and all he wants to do is show me stuff on WoW or have me watch anime with him.

I don't think Sophia's stay in Nouvelle will be very prolonged before she's on her way to the Keirnan estate where Cyrus is for certain. I'll have her run into whoever works out the best, but she's trying to keep Neva hidden as much as possible.
Reserving a spot so I can put my character here, will read all of the lore tomorrow and make a character.
Corivana Espada
Haven Port, Council Room - Ayero

Something about this day ignited a petulant attitude in Corivana. Perhaps it was her summons back from the high seas to the land she had come to despise that erred on her poor disposition? Or was it the fact that the guards of her home town, Haven Port, now looked at her with grimaces on their faces? Every little bit added up, and it got under Corivana's normally sarcastic, go-with-the-flow personality.

She stood with a hand at the hilt of her sword, and the other was digging out her breakfast from in between her two front teeth while she listened to the Council of Elders berate her with nonsensical questions. She knew she had made a mistake coming through Haven Port on the way to the capital, but she didn't know it'd be this bad.

"Corivana du Espada, listen when your betters speak!" The Eldest slammed her judgement rod upon the thick oaken desk she sat behind in irritation. They had noticed that Corivana wasn't paying much attention, after near an hour of gabbering? Corivana couldn't suppress a scoff before it escaped her throat, and some of the Elders gasped at her behavior, while others frowned and furrowed their brows.

"Blimey, ye bilge-guzzlin' old fools, punish a lady for sayin' 'ello eh? I just came back to this shoddy old village to pay my respect to ye land-lubbin' wretches. This lass 'as got more important things to be doin' right now, to be sure, so let me leave 'ere before one of yer old sacks gets a hernia by lookin' at me pretty little face ye all love so much." Corivana folded her arms under her breasts and looked the Eldest in the eye while her voice carried across the whole Council room. The Eldest, a woman who held the most power on the Council, near to being the ruler of Haven Port, met the pirate stare-for-stare.

"Let the girl leave. Apparently respect hasn't been pounded into her thick hide, even under the strict rules of the King's Guard. You will learn the error of your ways yet, Corivana du Espada." She gave a dismissive wave of her hand, while the Elders gathered around muttered under their breath. Corivana's lips quirked into a smirk as she turned her back to the Council and swaggered to the door, but as her hand gripped the door handle the powerful voice of the Eldest rang in Corivana's ears. "Kyogre has been taken to the pokemon center to be treated, and I couldn't help but notice that our deity has many injuries since the last time you thought to bless us with it's presence. You will need to be more proactive in your care for it, or you may find that we remove you from it's presence."

Corivana's hand gripped the knob till her knuckles went white and her face contorted into a fierce scowl at the older woman's words. She managed to smooth out her features into her characteristic smirk when she looked over her shoulder at the Eldest. "Kyo goes where she pleases. Iffin' that aint with me, then she'll be lettin' me know... savvy?" And with that she opened the door, swaggered out, and let it fall closed behind her with a loud creak.

Outside the massive town hall, Corivana took a deep breath of the salty air of Haven Port. Home. It wasn't quite how she remembered leaving it, every building had rough edges, and every face was harder still. There was even less time for the children to enjoy themselves outside, and nearly all of them were in the dojos or in the school houses of the town, perfecting their chosen path in life. The only few that weren't forced into being taught weren't Espada children, and thus not restricted to their harsh reality. People in the gardens and farms slaved away, and guards sweated beneath their armor while they stood erect and focused on their tasks. In the various shops lining the streets, people toiled at their crafts endlessly as foreigners and neighbors alike perused and bartered for goods.

She was pulled out of her observations by a gaggle of foreign women passing by, all in their summer dresses with glameow and persians at their sides. Corivana smiled for real this time, her face lighting up brilliantly. "Good day, ladies. I must say you all look prettier than a bouquet of rosalia." Corivana said, losing her pirate accent and flourishing her jacket behind her as she took an extravagant bow. The ladies paused and looked at her in confusion, but before any of them could blink Corivana continued. "And for your beauty, I say that you all deserve a rose just as beautiful as you are." And with that she produced a rose for each of them from somewhere on her person. The women held their delicate hand fans to their faces and giggled in turn.

When they left a few minutes later, all huddled together and glancing back at Corivana, the latter felt a rush of pleasure at watching their retreating figures. One or two of them had given her their beautifully scented silk 'kerchiefs to remember them by, and Corivana had placed them in her own brassiere. Women. She loved them enough to forget what she had been doing. With a start of realization, she made her way through town, dodging and ducking through the crowd in her rush to the pokemon center where her companion surely waited for her.

Corivana Espada & Kyo (Interaction with Zavier)
Haven Port, Pokemon Center

Corivana burst through the door of the pokemon center with all of her usual swagger, and noticed that a large amount of noise came from the back room, where they usually held wild pokemon who were to be cared for before they were released. Corivana rushed back as the nurses yells became more frantic, to see that they were dealing with vulpix who was still in it's cage and causing a ruckus. The pair of nurses were too busy dodging the fire that the small pokemon spewed at the bars of the cage in it's ferocity to escape. "What's going on here? Where's Kyo?" She inquired, her voice harsh. When she spoke up, the two nurses looked back at her in surprise. "We left the deity in it's own room, on the top floor." The one on the left said, a lady that Corivana vaguely remembered as Cecile. The one on the right was still busy was still busy with the vulpix, but spoke with her back turned anyways, "If you can help us with this vulpix, we believe it belongs to one of the foreigners, we'll get the great deity prepared to leave."

Corivana swaggered over and placed her hand on the top of the cage that held Zavier. "Ye scurvy dog, ye should know that these bars are resistant to fire pokemon. And ye see that over there?" Corivana pointed to more cages lining the south side of the room. "Those do be resistant to water, and those do be resistant to electric... So if ye get my point, perhaps yer yap can shut while I take ye to freedom." She pointed at each gathering of cages in turn before leaning down to peer in at the vulpix. "Savvy?"

Nearly half way done with Corivana's post, apologies.

edit: posted, now I'm gonna try to write for Sophia around my boyfriend's interruptions XD
Sorry yesterday my boyfriend came home early from work so I didn't have a chance to write :/ I'll try to write and he'll be like "Baby, look at this" and it's super distracting. I'm posting today for Corivana and Sophia, and Sophia will be at Nouvelle for interaction.
For Skyheart, they are probably the third most influential house in Lugere. They supply the military with weapons and gold, and tend to have more political power than military power themselves (though they do have their own private army that's sizable enough to protect all of the cities under their care, as well as enough troops to send in with the national military when needed). Their strength lies in their abilities to procure valuable resources, and in their diplomacy. Being one of the houses that fought by Maccus' side back in the wars hundreds of years ago has solidified their position as a notable house in Lugere beyond all else.

@Raijin that sounds good, I'm up for the Espada and Umbraisis families to be enemies, though not too many people know that the Dread Pirate Vana is part of the Espada family (just yet).

@Xander I'm gonna post today when my boyfriend goes to work. I'll definitely post for Corivana, but my posts are kinda long, however they'll shorten down after the introductory phase is over.

Hello. I see this is finally going. I'll write up something tomorrow but first, any Lugere's looking for interaction? It seems Ayero has all the action. :/Secondly, I plan on detailing my characters city. Expect it to be on theme with it being a big spot for affluent and wealthy people to live. It's main focus is fine arts such as concert halls and plenty of interesting architecture due to the abundance of artists living with city limits.Trumpet Mecca is kind of what I had in mind though. So perhaps an idea merger?

Hey! :D If you'd like to take Trumpet Mecca and change it into your character's city, I would be completely fine with that (it'll give us more chances to interact because of it's location, too!) I could have Sophia stop at the Mecca (or whatever you end up naming it) after you've posted before she continues to the Keirnan estate. As long as you're cool with the Skyheart family being your lords? They'll have their guards posted around each of the major three cities under their control, and around some of the smaller ones if trouble brews.

Fang needs something to do, maybe Korrigan as I'm still not sure if I should have him meet Sophia and Neva and Snow crest or not. Also, I'll come with a castle and stuff for Umbraisis this weekend when I have the time to actually consider it.

Yeah, I figured that Sophia traveling to the different noble's estates before arriving at Maccus would help involve people posting in Lugere, but it's up to you entirely whether or not Korrigan comes to Snow Crest at (around the) same time as Sophia :3 She'll meet him eventually, and perhaps they could recognize each other from social events like we discussed earlier on in the topic?

It would be nice if someone met up with Zavier, I'm not quite sure how I can get him to leave the city given his backround. If I have to I can say that the guards reconise the collar, and that he runs into the forest. Thair I supose he might get cought up and bump into one of you guys...

What city are you in? If it's Haven Port, Corivana is going to be swooping through there and causing a ruckus today on her way to Hiden. (I didn't have enough time to post for Corivana yesterday, sorry!) And in Haven Port, pokemon that the guards don't recognize as local are usually swept up before the children in the city can get any funny ideas, and they're either placed outside the limits or put into a cage inside one of the pokemon centers so they can be examined by the nurses there before being let go.
