Barnaby has chiseled features and stands 6’2” with peach skin. His smile is wide, but he mostly smirks. His upper lip is smaller than his bottom lip and they are quite small on his face. His eyes are wide and doe-like with crystalline blue orbs for irises. His curly mop of dirty blonde hair is what usually attracts the ladies, other than his perfect jaw line of course. He is always seen wearing a leather jacket.

First and foremost, Barny is a huge flirt. He loves to woo the ladies, but, unfortunately, he is not good with staying with one lady. He has cheated on people multiple times. He doesn’t cheat out of a meanness, but out of a deeply rooted commitment issue which he had gotten from his father. To add to this, Barny is incredibly insecure, though he hides this with a faux arrogance. He is a thrill-seeker, daring, and is always sticking his neck out for bully victims. Beneath his superficial personality lies a philosophical mind that is always thinking of why things are meant to be and a fondness for all things muggle.

History:

Barnaby is the descent of a deatheater and his father and mother were both brought up as such. They were taught to have an extreme disliking for muggles and so they abhor anything that has to do with muggles. Due to his philosophical mind, Barnaby questioned this at the tender age of six, and began to search as to why muggles were to be hated. He collected items and he studied them, eventually falling in love with the muggle culture and keeping his collection as a keepsake. His father was enraged by this and often verbally abused his son in order to instill a hatred for muggles, though it only served to bring an insecurity to Barnaby.

Barnaby was admitted into Hogwarts when he was twelve and when he was selected to go to Gryffindor instead of Slytherin, his father was disgusted. His father holds the aged view that Slytherins are supreme and still holds a grudge against the Gryffindors. Barnaby is the first Gryffindor in the Arkwright family, ever. Because of this, the verbal abusing escalated to a few hits here and there, and every year it was a blessing to go to Hogwarts.

Other:

He thinks it is fascinating that muggles are able to capture such life in their pictures even though their pictures are still and his room is covered in beautiful photographs from muggle photographers.

She doesn’t understand the point of keeping things secret, so she has no qualms with saying exactly what is going on in her life or what of the likes if someone asks her. Poppy has the unfortunate habit of bottling up her emotions and, even when telling her “sob” story, keeps a straight face or shrugs it off when people ask her how she is feeling. The blonde has a hard time connecting with people on a personal level and when she attempts to express her sadness, she is often deterred by sympathetically distant responses. She is not particularly motivated to do anything and tries to find the easiest ways to do things. Her worst habit is procrastination and most of her work does not get done until the night before it’s due.

Due to absorbing psychology books and pamphlets, Poppy can easily read people by their body language. If an animal is sick? She can check for any symptoms of the million of diseases and illnesses in her knowledge. However, after absorbing too much information, Poppy gets queasy and dizzy; if she goes past that, though she never has so far, she would probably die.

Poppy is an American and was born on an Air Force base in Florida. Her father is in the military and she has had to move around a lot for his work. Her parents were always busy with work – not that Poppy minded, because when they weren’t, the family was always hanging out – and so Poppy took up the habit of reading constantly. Because of her father’s work, Poppy’s dad would get deployed many times and Poppy would be stuck with her mother.

It wasn’t that Poppy didn’t like her mother, in fact, Poppy adored her mother...that is before her alcoholism came back after ten years of sobriety (she quit before Poppy was born). Her mother spiraled into a pit of depression and, in turn, Poppy too had begun to feel depressed. Later on, she was diagnosed with depression and anxiety and was prescribed medicine to take. Poppy, often than not, does not take her medicine because “it makes her feel funny.”

One day, when Poppy was fourteen and her father was home from deployment, the blonde girl came home to her mother crying in her bedroom, drunk as per usual, and attempting to call a rehab facility. Not knowing what to do, Poppy attempted to call her dad to help her, but he wasn’t picking up. After the police came (one of the rehab centers had called the cops on her mom to make sure she wasn’t harming herself) and Poppy finally managed to get a hold of her dad, everything just froze for Poppy. Her mother went to rehab until the week before Poppy’s fifteenth birthday, but that wasn’t what the problem was for Poppy. She discovered that, in her time of need, she was having a hard time connecting with her friends. They would tell her that “it would be alright” and that “at least your mom is getting better” but that didn’t satisfy Poppy – they felt distant.

After her mom was released, Poppy’s dad got a new job in Wales and the O’Conner family jumped at the chance to go for it was “a new start.”

Bleu is an exuberant girl with a healthy pink-peach complexion and wavy chestnut brown hair. Her eyes are an incredible light blue with an outer ring of dark blue; the blueness of her eyes is best seen when she smiling, because they seem to glow with her happiness. Her smile is wide and reaches from cheek to cheek, radiating on her face. She stands at 5’6” and is a healthy weight, though she has slightly chubby cheeks.

Personality:

Bleu is a generally easy-going girl with a kind heart. She tries to help people whenever she can and goes out of her way to do it. Blue trusts people easily and wears her heart on her sleeve, but when someone hurts her, she tends to hold a grudge. Optimistic, Bleu is always looking on the bright side and attempting to cheer people up with it, and her optimism goes well with her hard-working nature. She is intelligent and , as such, she has many important values and opinions, and when she is hot about a subject, she is loud, opinionated, and outspoken. She never gives up, which is actually a bad thing because it tends to cause tension between her and her friends in arguments. Stubborn as a bull, even when she knows she is wrong, she will fight to the death to prove she is right. Bleu is easily hurt and, though she tries to hide it in a martyr way of helping her friends, she can be susceptible to bouts of depression because of it. Adding to this, Bleu suffers from clinical depression, and if she does not take her anti-depressants regularly, then she will have bouts of crying and suicidal thoughts. Bleu is extremely claustrophobic.

History:

Bleu comes from a family of muggles and was born and raised in France. However, she speaks really good English and has been to America and England many times due to having extended family living there. When she was six years old, Bleu’s mother attempted suicide due to her clinical depression and was admitted to the hospital. She attempted four more times throughout Bleu’s childhood until she was placed into the mental ward for two years. When she returned, she was a whole new person, and she tried her best to be there for Bleu. However, Bleu is still scared that her mother might try again, and might die, and so she keeps her at a distance.

At the age of twelve, Bleu was admitted into Beauxbatons Academy of Magic. Excited and astonished, Bleu ate up knowledge like it was her nutella crepes. However, when she was in her third year, despite everything being fine, Bleu felt immensely depressed and attempted suicide. She was sent home, where she received therapy, until they discovered she had inherited clinical depression from her mother. She still continued to attend Beauxbatons Academy until the end of her fourth year, when she discovered her mother’s sister had breast cancer. The Delacroix moved to England in order to be with her aunt and Bleu transferred to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
